Fox News Goes In On Chris Brown [VIDEO]

Read the original post:

After Chris Brown broke a record when 18,000 fans camped out to watch him perform on “The Today Show,” Fox News criticized the troubled singer who is trying to get his life back together after his vicious beatdown of ex-girlfriend Rihanna. Fox News took to the streets showing on-lookers the bruised and battered photo of Rihanna following Chris’ attack on her. “You may remember the singer Chris Brown, he pleaded guilty to beating his then girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. Sane Americans were disgusted by his bad behavior but that did not stop him from getting top billing this morning on ‘The Today Show’,” said Laura Ingram. Cooper Lawrence thinks “The less religious you are, the more likely you are to worship a celebrity.” The video shows Laura and other hosts criticizing Breezy: Chris Brown Performs On Today Show & Sets Record [VIDEO] Chris Brown Kills Birthday Bash 16! 10 Things Waka Flocka Could Do With His Life Now That He’s Accepted That Rapping Ain’t It

Yesterday, the great urban poet Waka Flocka Flame made the most sense he has made in his entire career. He went on to explain how the phony n-words in the industry and the hectic-ness of his life drove him to his decision. And his mommy backed him up. Waka’s mom and manager, Debra Antney, tells RumorFix exclusively, “He talking about quitting. He’s sick of this. We all are.” Debra, who is the Kris Jenner of the rap world, tells us, “We’re all disgusted with this stuff. You can’t trust people.” She says Waka isn’t touring or recording right now and that they are reestablishing their relationship as mom and son — as opposed to manager and musician. Far be it for us to try to stand in between Flocka and his happiness. As a matter of fact, we have a couple of suggestions for him on what to try next.

In a sea of tracks filled with haunting imagery, “She” doesn’t necessarily immediately stand out as the creepiest cut on Tyler, the Creator’s Goblin . I mean, it’s followed by “Transylvania,” “Nightmare,” and “Tron Cat” for fuck’s sake. But it’s a different story altogether when paired up with the above imagery. Part of the reason is that the video makes you really listen to what Tyler and Frank Ocean… Broadcasting platform : YouTube Source : prefixmag Discovery Date : 04/06/2011 06:03 Number of articles : 2

Eminem On Odd Future: ‘The Dudes Can Rhyme’

“It feels like they’re pushing boundaries and buttons,” Eminem tells MTV News. By Rob Markman, with reporting by Sway Calloway Eminem Eminem has been known to cause a stir or two. From rapping about killing his daughter’s mother on ” ’97 Bonnie & Clyde” to being deemed homophobic by the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation, Slim Shady has courted his share of controversy over the years. Lately, L.A. collective Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All and their profanity-flinging frontman, Tyler, the Creator, have been drawing comparisons to Marshall, but what does Slim think of OFWGKTA? “I think that from the stuff that I’ve heard — I haven’t heard a lot from them, I still have to go check out everything that they’re doing — but I’ve heard enough to know that it feels like they’re pushing boundaries and buttons, and that’s definitely one of the things that I’m familiar with, especially when I first came out,” Eminem told Sway on the set of Bad Meets Evil’s “Fast Lane” video in Detroit. “I love it, I love the fact that they’re doing that. And the dudes can rhyme.” Eminem’s Bad Meets Evil partner Royce Da 5’9″ is a fan as well, particularly of OF’s R&B portion. “I’m a big Frank Ocean fan,” he said. “I’m feelin’ the whole group. I’m with Em, though — I haven’t heard enough of them. I heard more Frank Ocean, for some reason. It seems like he’s standing out, for some reason.” When in his creative zone, as he has been lately, Em finds it hard to keep up with rap’s newcomers. “If somebody has got a buzz and somebody is making noise, I’ll go check ’em out. Sometimes I’m late getting to the party, sometimes I’m right on top of it as it’s happening. It’s hard, I think, when you’re creating music and you’re in the lab like me and him are a lot.” Related Videos The Wonderful Adventures Of Odd Future At SXSW 2011 ‘RapFix Live’ With Eminem And Royce Da 5’9″ Related Artists Eminem Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All
