Katie Ledecky is 15 years old. But she isn’t shrieking over Justin Bieber or worried about the split of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart . At least not at the moment. She’s celebrating an Olympic Gold Medal! The high school sophomore, who makes Missy Franklin seem over the hill, kicked her way to a victory in the 800-meter freestyle yesterday, winning with a time of 8 minutes, 15.63 seconds. That’s an American record. “I didn’t really expect gold, but I’ll take it,” Ledecky said soon after the race, which enabled her to become the second-youngest American woman to win individual Gold. Ledecky said she grew inspired by what Franklin and Michael Phelps accomplished, using those two champions as role models prior to her only event of the Games. “I got really pumped up when I saw that Missy and Michael had really good swims,” Katie, a Maryland native, said. “I was ready to scream when I saw Missy’s race, but I kept it to myself and used it as extra energy.” And, girl, did it ever work.

If you thought Tweeting birthday wishes to Rihanna was the most talked-about thing Chris Brown would do all day on social media, you thought wrong! WWE heavyweight champion CM Punk and the hot-tempered R&B singer have been going at it on Twitter. It’s safe to say you could call punk a “hater.” Punk randomly tweeted that he wants to “curb stomp” Brown at an upcoming WWE event, so Brown can “fight somebody that can defend themselves.” Brown caught wind of the tweet … and decided to fire back. He wrote: “@CMpunk needs more followers. Such a leader! Not to mention the roids hes on has made it utterly impossible for him pleasure a women.” Zing. In his typical, sarcastic tone, Chris went on to add, “@CMpunk contact my assistant and I’ll have em send u an autographed pic for my biggest FAN!!!” Seriously, Chris, please put the phone down, man. Why do you think the “haters” won’t let you move on? You’re just making it worse on yourself. CHILL. Chris’ tweet about Punk’s junk not working has obviously been removed. Something tells us Brown’s mom is going to be far from pleased about this. Due to leg spasms and muscle pain, Aretha Franklin was unable to attend Whitney Houston’s funeral on Saturday, canceling not only her appearance but a planned performance in honor of her goddaughter, as well. Who knew all that “Gucci” and “Louis Vuitton” could be worth so much?? More than $1 million worth of counterfeit merchandise was seized in a weekend raid at a Cobb County flea market. Forty Marietta police officers uncovered purses, wallets, jewelry and assorted clothing, all believed to be fake versions of designer brands, while executing search warrants Saturday at the Franklin Road market, Officer David Baldwin said. Eight people were arrested and additional arrests are expected, Baldwin said. Several of the businesses in the indoor flea market were operating without a license, and officers found zoning and fire code violations, Baldwin said. “There are quite a few legitimate businesses up and running there,” Baldwin told the AJC. The raid was the result of a months-long investigation into possible illegal activity at the flea market, located at 550 Franklin Road. The Marietta Fire Department and officials with the city’s Code Enforcement and Business License Division also participated in the raid. SMH at these folks trying to throw Della Reese under the bus for burning a lil something!! “Touched by an Angel” star DELLA REESE is a pot-smoking preacher who covered up for employees after they swindled her church out of a small fortune. That’s the shocking accusation of the TV legend’s former executive assistant Billie Hall, who claims Della and her husband Franklin Lett basically “looked the other way” while employees mismanaged funds at their Understanding Principles for Better Living Church. Even worse, Hall accused the 79- year-old actress – who’s an ordained minister – of using marijuana and asking a church employee to score dope! “I worked for Della and her husband for nine years, and I’ve seen her smoke pot on a daily basis. She was stoned when she went to the ‘Touched by an Angel’ set,” Hall told The ENQUIRER. While Della says she’s not “addicted” to pot, she admitted to The ENQUIRER: “I smoke a joint or two every now and then to relax.” A few years after the drug fiasco,Della discovered $1.5 million was missing from the church coffers. She and her husband said they traced the loss to former employees who had been cashing church checks and using church credit cards. The ENQUIRER also obtained court documents concerning allegations of misappropriation of funds, and they show that another former employee was asked to put money from the church into what the employee believed were personal accounts. Della said she informed her congregation about the missing money, but chose not to prosecute the employees. “I’m not that type of person, and I decided not to drag the church through all that,” she explained.
