Boston Bomber’s Pals Covered For Their Friend According to The NY Post Two pals of the surviving Boston Marathon bomber allegedly covered up for their friend by tossing a backpack filled with spent fireworks used in the attack, authorities said today. Dias Kadyrbayev and Azamat Tazhayakov, both 19, were charged with conspiracy to obstruct justice for allegedly blocking the investigation into their terrorist buddy, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19. A third defendant, Robel Phillipos, 19, was charged with lying to authorities. “Kadyrbayev knew when he saw the empty fireworks that Tsarnaev was involved in the Marathon bombing,” according to the complaint. “[He] decided to remove the backpack from the room in order to help his friend Tsarnaev avoid trouble.” The pals also grabbed his laptop, Cieplik wrote. Kadyrbayev, with the consent of Tazhayakov and Phillipos, later tossed the backpack in a trash bag and then in a dumpster near his New Bedford apartment, the FBI said. “According to Kadyrbayev, they then collectively decided to throw the backpack and fireworks into the trash because they did not want Tsarnaev to get in trouble,” the complaint charged. All three defendants were schoolmates of Dzhokhar Tsarnaev at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. They’re being held in custody until a May 14 hearing. Kadyrbayev ‘s lawyer Robert Stahl said his client has been cooperating with the FBI. Kadyrbayev directed investigators to the trash dumpster where he ditched the backpack, helping feds eventually find it in a landfill. “Mr. Kadyrbayev told the FBI about that [where to find the backpack],” Stahl said. The lawyer insisted his client was not trying to cover for Tsarnaev. Kadyrbayev and Tazhayakov face up to five years in prison while Phillipos could get eight years behind bars. They all could be slapped with fines up to $250,000. At least they cooperated with authorities. That is probably the only chance they have of getting through this. AP

I took my friend Michelle because I was also going to the concert with her. Adidas told us that there will be a live-chat with Justin and I was so freaking excited when we arrived. There was a lot of police outside of the store and there were security inside the store. Inside, a woman played some music and they gave away some prizes (ex. golden shoes that were signed by Justin). She told us that there will be a surprise for us in one hour, so my friend and I thought that this has something to do with the live chat. In the end, there was no live-chat. DJ Tay James showed up and played more music for us! He was in such a good mood and it was so much fun to party with him! Even though it was really great with DJ Tay James, I was sad because there was really no sign of a live-chat. Then out of no where, Justin came out without any warning! I couldn’t believe that it was really him and we were all screaming so freaking loud. Tears fell down my face. Justin thanked us for coming out and said that he will take a picture with EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the store. Alfredo and Kenny came with Justin and it was great to see them as well. We all had to get in line and then the pictures were taken. When it was time for Michelle and I to meet Justin, I asked if I could hug him. He said “Yes” so I quickly did. After that the picture was taken. I looked at Justin and said, “Thank you so much.” He was just smiling. My friend Michelle hugged him and then we were already pushed away by the security. It all went by really fast but I don’t care. I finally got a picture with my idol and that’s all that matters. After everyone got their picture, Justin said some more words and then it was over. I was crying so hard because I couldn’t believe that I just saw him, it just felt like a dream to me. I still look at my picture every single day and can’t believe that this is real. After the event my friend and I drove to the O2 for the concert. It was my first concert and it was amazing and perfect. I cried my eyes out when he sang ‘Be Alright’ and the last song, ‘Believe’ because these songs really mean a lot to me. My name is Laura, and I met my idol on April 2nd, 2013 in Hamburg. Every belieber has a dream about meeting Justin. I’ve also had one for such a long time, and I never ever in my life thought it would happen. My Bieber experience started when I bought tickets for his Believe tour in Hamburg. I live in Denmark but my friend and I wanted to go so badly so we bought tickets. We of course joined the meet & greet contest on BieberFever even though we knew the chances of winning is small. The concert came closer and closer. All those days of counting down, they were now gone. On April 1st I woke up from a call from my friend. She was like, “Omgomgomg we won the contest!” I thought at first it was an April Fool’s joke but she sent me screenshots and it was true! We were then at the O2 at 2 p.m. on April 2nd. When we got there we were just walking around to see how it all looked, bought some merchandise and talked with some beliebers. At 4 p.m. we went to entrance E4 to pick up our meet & greet wristbands, and then waited in line. My friend and I got into a group with 4 other Danish girls, who also won from BieberFever. The queue was getting shorter, and it was finally our turn to meet Justin! I was so afraid that I wasn’t going to stand beside him, but as soon as the security said “It’s your turn,” I walked up to the front as fast as I could. We were now standing right behind the curtain, and could see Justin smiling and taking pictures. I was freaking out! It was our turn and Justin said, “Come on in.” I walked right next to him, I was so nervous and couldn’t believe my own eyes. I was standing next to JUSTIN BIEBER. I put my arm around him, and my other hand on his six pack. I could feel his abs through his tank-top, it was amazing. We had our picture and then I told him I loved him and stuff. He said, “Thank you sweetie,” with his cute accent and a big smile on his face. I asked for a hug, but the security went through me and Justin and pulled me out of the room. They also pushed my friend because she was standing beside Justin, but the security didn’t want her to! Justin saw that she was getting sad, so he took his hand and put it around her shoulder on the picture, so cute. It all happened so quickly. I wish we could have spend a little more time with him, but it was still the best time of my life. It was such an amazing experience, and there is NO words that can describe it. After the meeting, we went to the concert which also was amazing! The way Justin came on stage was fantastic, and although I had high expectations for Justin, I was so surprised. My name is Alina and this is my Bieber Experience. Not in a thousand years have I thought I would ever get the chance to meet Justin. I am a 18 year old girl from Austria which is a really small country in Europe, that’s why it was a big success for the Austrian beliebers that he put us on the tour list. I bought my Believe Tour tickets the minute they were on sale. Unfortunately, I only got Golden Circle tickets and didn’t even read through the other offers. I thought I had to be quick because I knew that the whole tour in America was sold out in a few minutes. I regretted not buying meet & greet tickets so much! I honestly tried everything to get the tickets. I called every radio station, wrote emails, took part in every single competition with the help of more than 40 of my friends – it was a waste of time. But I didn’t give up believing. I ended up finding someone who sold two meet and greet tickets on the internet. I arranged everything and I was super happy. After a few weeks it has emerged as a fake. I couldn’t believe it. I was so disappointed but still didn’t give up hope. About 1 month before the concert they sold 8 more meet & greet tickets and I was one of the lucky one’s who got one! The Bieber weekend started on Friday 29th of March. I knew Justin was already in Vienna when I came back from holidays and directly drove there. I also knew that DJ Tay James would be at a club in Vienna that night. My bf and I decided to go there. We didn’t even think about meeting any other crew members when we got there. DJ Tay James and the whole crew entered. I was so starstruck! My friends and I were standing in front of the VIP area the whole time, and were just watching them having fun and partying. After half an hour, Kenny then Dan went to the bathroom. As they walked by I asked them if we could take a picture. They were both so nice and completely down to earth. It got even better when one of Justin’s dancers came up to me and my friend and started talking with us and gave us two guitar picks. DJ Tay James was playing some of Justin’s songs and we saw how much fun it was for the crew to finally have some free time. It was about 3 a.m. when suddenly a lot of security started to clear the way for somebody. It all was so quick. Justin passed me as he brushed my legs. I reached my hands out for him and grabbed his arm. I FREAKING TOUCHED HIM! I couldn’t believe how lucky I was. After that I was sitting in front of the VIP area, watching him having fun and partying with the whole crew for nearly 2 hours. It was such a good feeling to see him having fun and laughing! It just made me super happy. At 5 a.m. he walked out of the club and as he walked by, I got to touch him again. My friend and I decided to wait a few minutes until he was outside and not to take pictures or follow him. We know he doesn’t like when people do it and I didn’t want to ruin his evening. The next day we got up at 11 a.m. with just 5 hours of sleep. It was the day of the concert! I was super excited and still couldn’t believe what had happened the night before. It was nearly impossible for us to get to the meet & greet entrance, we even had to climb over some barriers. We got our passes and they told us all the rules and what was going to happen. As we waited, Scrappy, Dan and DJ came put to say hello. When it was finally my turn to enter the room my heart nearly jumped out! When I was in the room, I saw him laughing and I just fell in love a thousand more times than I already did. His smile is so beautiful, I just can’t describe it. I went straight up to Justin. He pulled me up to him and placed his hand on my hip. I swear I was melting. He then took a look at me, grinned, and said, “Hey, how are you doing?” I honestly don’t even know if I answered because it all felt like a dream. We then took the picture. Before I had to go, I asked him for a hug and he said, “Yea, sure,” and smiled at me again. Outside I was crying so much, I nearly broke down but my friend told me I should pull myself together and be happy. The arena was already filled when we got in the Golden Circle. Throughout the concert, I was in the 2nd row and so close to him! I was so happy, all tears, nerves, breakdowns, money was worth the experience! What I can say to all beliebers out there who are still waiting to meet Justin, NEVER STOP BELIEVING IN YOUR DREAM! I will always remember those two days as the best days of my life when I met my idol who has helped me through so many things so often. I couldn’t thank Justin enough for what he has done for me. I can’t believe I’m finally writing my own Bieber experience. I’ve been supporting Justin since he recorded ‘Common Denominator,’ since he released ‘One Time,’ since kidrauhl. I’ve been trying to meet him ever since. The only time I saw him was at BAMBI 2011 but he was far away and I probably saw the back of his head for 5 seconds. On April 3rd 2013, I met Justin. The boy I love. I’ve saved my money for 2 years and now it happened. The day started actually quite funny. I think it was about 8 a.m. when mom screamed and woke me up. I was like “WTF mom,” but she ignored me and said, “Those are Justin’s buses aren’t they?” I jumped out of my bed and went to the window and seriously, there were his buses parking in front of the arena. I stayed at a hotel next to the arena for the day and I was quite nervous and excited. Never been that nervous before. I couldn’t eat or drink anything. It was insane. Time flew by and around 1 p.m. my friend who also had bought a M&G came over and we waited together, singing along to Justin’s songs and just screaming when we saw how many people were showing up at the concert. It was about 5 p.m. when it was our time to go in the arena. They gave us the bracelet and passes. You could hear screaming and I was getting pretty nervous and pumped. I’ve met nice and amazing beliebers and we waited about 2 hours. While we waited, Dan Kanter came out and talked with us. He talked with me twice and I hugged him and we took pictures, it was amazing. I was close to crying. Then about 6:50 p.m. they let the first 20 people in. We had to walk down the stairs and stay there. I came closer and closer to him and I saw all the girls who came out of the room where Justin was. As I walked around the corner, I could finally see him. Justin Drew Bieber, IN PERSON. He was there, 1 meter in front of me. I couldn’t hold a scream back and Justin looked at me, smiled and winked. I died. The security told me to calm down (how is that even possible.) Justin looked so flawless and unreal in person. He actually looked like an angel and just insanely beautiful. Can’t put that in words. I starred at him and his muscles (yum) for a good minute until it was my turn. I stood in front of him, like right in front of my idol. He looked me directly in the eyes and smiled. I smiled so big, I swear I looked like an idiot. Suddenly he said, “Hi. You’re beautiful.” I was stunned, shocked and couldn’t say anything but the security pushed me into him and he put his hand around my waist and grabbed me tight. I could feel his hand moving, it was just asdfghjkl. I put my hand on his neck/shoulder and moved it and he leaned towards me, it was just an amazing feeling. I couldn’t stop smiling. They took the picture and I was so shocked but I finally managed to say, “Justin can I hug you?” He grabbed my arm but the security dragged me out by the waist. It actually did hurt a lot. I screamed “PLEASE JUSTIN!” and he tried to hold me back but they pushed me away. I just had met the boy who had changed my life. I actually love him so much. I just wish I could meet him in person and get to know him better. It was all perfect. They gave us a goodies bag and brought us in the arena. At first we were in the golden circle but the M&G people had diamond circle tickets but the security wouldn’t let us. Finally they brought us to the front and I was FIRST ROW. I was the closest to Justin I could ever be. Justin was late but I didn’t care. I would’ve waited days. During the concert he looked at me 4 times, pointed at me and starred at me for about 10 seconds and then licked his lips. I was screaming and singing so much, I danced along and jumped around, I literally had the best night of my life. One of his dancers, Johnny, smiled at me, winked and blew me a kiss. The show was just mind-blowing, I can’t even put it in words. I don’t think there’s any concert as amazing as Justin’s. After the concert I went back to my hotel speechless. My name is Nicole, I’m 13 years old from Toronto, Canada, and Scooter Braun gave me front row seats to Justin’s concert December 1st, 2012. First of all, I’d like to let you know that I never in a MILLION YEARS thought this would happen to me. I can’t believe that I actually have my very own Bieber experience to write about! So that day, my friend and I decided to go to really early to the stadium before his concert to try and get tickets. Around noon, we met up with our other friends that were trying to get tickets as well. We walked around the Rogers Centre a bunch of times but no luck. Time past by and nothing happened. It was already like around 8 p.m. and everybody was already going inside. My friends and I decided to walk around the centre one more time and we saw some girls screaming and freaking out so we went to see what was going on, and it turns out that they were talking to SCOOTER! We went to go see what was going on and Scooter was like, “I’m sorry you guys, I don’t have any tickets.” Then he started to walk away and some of the girls started to leave but then my friends followed him and kept on talking to him. He kept on saying, “I don’t have any tickets.” Then he said, “I can do one thing for you guys.” There were 12 people (6 friends and the other 6 friends) in total. “I can only give 5 tickets to each group so one of you can’t go in.” Scooter gave us time to decide who was not going to the concert and my friend decided not to go inside for the show and she stated crying and walked away. But then Scooter said, “Wait, you’re not going with them. You’re sitting with me!” Then we all started to freak out and cry even more and he gave us the tickets. After he gave us the tickets, all of us went inside and we were just hugging each other and we couldn’t believe that this happened to us.
