This man is a hero. White Father Defends Black Teen Everyday there is a story about an unarmed black kid being harmed or killed in a racial dispute. Nice to hear this man stood up for this boy. According to Mail Online A heroic father-of-two who suffered fractured facial bones after he was brutally beaten for standing up for a bullied 14-year-old boy said he would do it again despite his extensive injuries. Wen Jones, a 43-year-old former Marine from Jupiter, Florida, was at the beach on May 19 when he saw Zion Wright being picked on by three older men. When he told them to back down, the trio – Cody Moore Roon, Tyler Dylan Carswell and Eric Michael Deiter, all 20 – allegedly attacked. The men have now been arrested. Mr Jones suffered a concussion and a fracture under his eye which needed surgery and he was left with stitches over his face. Still, he said he’d do the same again. ‘I’m not happy to have been injured pretty severely, but at the same time, I ask myself, would I do it again?’ he asked the Sun Sentinel. ‘You know, it was the right thing to do, so I probably would.’ Police reports note that the three men had been bullying Zion, an amateur competitve skateboarder, and his friends earlier that day. SMH. As well as kicking sand at him, his father, LeRoy Wright Jr., told the Sentinel that they used racial slurs against the boy, who is black. Police have not charged them with a hate crime. Later the same day, the men continued to harass the teenagers outside the restrooms and when Zion’s father arrived and saw them, he told them to leave. Instead, the men failed to back down and Jones walked past the scene and saw the trio troubling the father and his son. ‘I couldn’t stand there and watch this older guy and kid get beaten up,’ Jones said. So he approached them and told the men to calm down – but they then turned on him. ‘I got tangled up with one the biggest guys and he beat me in the back of the head until I was unconscious,’ he said. ‘When I came to, I was being beaten in the face.’ As police arrived on the scene, the three men ran away but witnesses helped track them down. Lamar Odom reportedly refused another intervention with friends during the downward spiral that is torpedoing his NBA career and marriage to Khloe Kardashian. “He’s headed for destruction,” says a friend who reportedly flew out to L.A. with a handful of Odom’s pals from N.Y. in hopes of getting Lamar help. Lamar Odom: OUT of Rehab “A few weeks ago his friends from the projects back in Queens flew out to L.A. and banged on Lamar’s door trying to have an intervention with him.” “They wanted to take him home to New York and get him clean but Lamar wouldn’t open the door, telling them he ‘didn’t give a f–k what the world thinks.’” Odom added that they “‘don’t know the pressure I’m under,'” but the friends finally got him to open his door, and were distressed by what they saw . “He’s smoking crack now,” the insider revealed. His friends “knew he liked to freebase cocaine, but they were shocked to see him with crack. They found more than 60 grams of crack in his possession.” “He had no intentions of stopping.” This intervention was one of three held with Odom – the others by NBA teammates and Khloe Kardashian and family – in an attempt to get him clean. No dice. Addicted to Oxycontin and Ambien, Lamar briefly entered a rehab clinic last August under pressure from the Kardashians, but left after three weeks. That was sadly a lot longer than he lasted this week, when Odom checked out of rehab after just one day and immediately went off the grid again. His whereabouts are unknown, as the athlete and his camp have kept his estranged wife, and the entire Kardashian clan, in the dark about everything. That includes Lamar’s arrest for DUI last week, which Khloe found out about from TMZ like everyone else. Not a good sign for their future – or his life. “Lamar feels invincible because he’s rich and famous, but he also seems scared that his destiny is to be a drug addict like his father,” the source said. “He’s really struggling right now. It’s bad. We are all at a loss for words.” “His friends fear he’s suicidal and trying to smoke himself to death.”

Now, in the wake of Lamar Odom getting arrested for DUI, Khloe Kardashian has taken to Instagram once again and posted a photo of herself that makes no mention of the ongoing drama in her personal life. “Omg you can totally not sit with us,” Khloe captioned the photo above, which feature her and her hair and makeup team members (Joyce Bonelli, Jen Atkin, and Rob Scheppy). The image went live a couple hours after Odom was popped for driving under the influence of some kind of substance, as perhaps Khloe is trying to put on a brave public face in the wake of such controversy. Will she continue to stand by her man? That issue has become more complicated thanks to the following new information: Polina Polonsky may have served as Odom’s mistress AND his crack head enabler .
