In August, we learned that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin aren’t rushing to get married — that they were sure of each other, but waiting until 2019 to actually tie the knot. Fast forward one month, however, and their actions are telling a different story. Justin and Hailey were spotted at the courthouse, and it wasn’t over a traffic ticket. They went to the folks who give out marriage licenses. TMZ reports that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin were spotted at the NYC Marriage Bureau on Thursday, September 13. Though Hailey and the Biebs were trying to keep things hush-hush, people of course noticed. According to at least one wyewitness, Justin gushed to Hailey: “I can’t wait to marry you, baby.” It was an emotional moment, and Justin was apparently crying and he spoke to his fiancee. Other eyewitness accounts say that Justin and Hailey hoped to keep this special moment as private as possible. According to TMZ ‘s sources who saw Justin and Hailey, Justin expressed gratitude for the discretion of people in the NYC Marriage Bureau. “Thanks for keeping it on the DL,” Justin reportedly said to a court official. Court officials may have professional guidelines, but random other people in the courthouse who are there on their own business do not. Incidentally, one witness referred to a person to whom Justin and Hailey spoke as a “judge,” which would imply that they actually got married right then and there. But the source may have been using the term casually to refer to a court official, or may have misunderstood someone’s role. It happens. According to another witness, Justin and Hailey appeared to make some reference to leaving the country. Is it possible that they changed their plans and wanted to have a destination wedding — possibly a private one? That sounds romantic. Or, more cynically, they may have been headed somewhere (like Dubai) where the local laws are medieval and would not allow them to share a room unless they are married. We have to say, though, that it is difficult to picture these two lovestruck twenty-somethings getting a marriage license early just because it’s practical. So, a month ago, the two had solid plans to not get married in 2018. They were adamant about enjoying their engagement. What happened during the past several weeks to change their tune? Maybe it’s nothing — they could have been making some sort of inquiry. None of the witnesses to whom TMZ spoke said that they actually saw Justin and Hailey with a marriage certificate. But, let’s be real, something of significance happened or Justin wouldn’t have been in tears. Maybe the impetuousness of “youth” (he’s 24) caught up with them and they realized that they just couldn’t wait to call each other husband and wife. A marriage license is not the same thing as having a wedding, so perhaps Justin and Hailey were impatient and decided to get the license now, but to hold off on the wedding. If so, however, they’ve started the clock on their wedding plans. In New York state, a marriage license is only valid for 60 days. You need to have a wedding in that time, or the license expires. Folks, Justin and Hailey visited the Marriage Bureau 110 days before 2019. If they obtained a marriage license, they have just over half of that to get married. We’re all entitled to make catastrophic, life-altering choices, and Becca Kufrin made hers . His name is Garrett Yrigoyen. While debate rages over whether Becca and Garrett will really marry , they are still engaged. And now Becca has come forward to share what that is like, and what the two have planned for the future. In the new issue of Us Weekly , Becca Kufrin gushes about her engagement to Garrett Yrigoyen. Becca says that “life has been a fun adventure” with Garrett by her side. She admits that this (new) engagement has been “a huge adjustment” right after The Bachelorette and Arie before that and The Bachelor before that. ” Just being normal has been wonderful,” Becca says. “We were just so ready for the show to be done airing,” Becca reveals. “Where we could finally be out in public. ” Recently, Becca and Garrett have been visiting Becca’s friends and family in Minnesota. Garrett takes his turn to gush, saying that “her friends are a lot of fun.” He shares that among their activities has been a Minnesota Twins game, the state fair, and a fishing trip on the Mississippi River. “I caught my first walleye and smallmouth bass,” Garrett shares with pride. “It was fun.” Garrett is such an avid fisherman that, though we don’t have a photo of that moment, it’s not difficult to find a fish photo. Becca says that her hometown has welcomed her fiancee “with open arms.” Sometimes, even a controversial man can find acceptance if he has a popular, likable woman on his arm. But while the two have enjoyed visiting loved ones, they haven’t picked a spot to settle down. ” I don’t want to make a decision without exploring our options, ” Becca explains. That is a very sensible attitude! The couple has also spent time Garrett’s hometown of Reno, Nevada. And the two of them have discussed the idea of a potential move to L.A. “I’m hoping by November or December we’ll have nailed down a place,” Becca admits. That said, deciding on a place to live is not the same thing as making wedding plans.: As Becca explains: “We really are still getting to know each other.” It’s smart of her to be cautious. Clearly, from what she saw on The Bachelorette , she would never have guessed Garrett’s bigoted social media history . As many entertainment news outlets pointed out when Garrett’s Instagram scandal broke, it wasn’t that he liked “conservative” posts contrary to Becca’s views. The posts that he had “liked” on Instagram were outside of the bounds of decency. The posts were racist, transphobic, and misogynistic — among other things. Garrett has apologised (for getting caught), but fans hope that Becca can come to understand who he truly is before it’s too late for them both to find partners compatible with their respective values. Becca received a lot of sympathy from the Bachelor Nation after Arie Luyendyk Jr. humiliated her on television. A lot of fans feel for her and hope that she finds a better, less problematic man. How could an average teenage girl, on a regular night, simply walk into a hotel freezer and never again be seen alive? According to the Cook County Medical Examiner, Kenneka died from hypothermia with alcohol and a drug used to treat epilepsy and migraines listed as “significant contributing factors.” Her death was ultimately ruled an accident, but that didn’t stop amateur sleuths who sought to solve the case from conjuring up countless conspiracy theories that explained what Chicago detectives couldn’t. On the one-year anniversary of her death, we look back the theories that kept us scrolling social media for answers. MUST READ: What Happened To Kenneka Jenkins? Conspiracy #1: She Was Being Raped While Her Friends Were On FB Live Kenneka Jenkins was partying with friends on the ninth floor of the Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare Hotel & Conference Center in Rosemont before she disappeared. After a vigorous search, friends were unable to find Kenneka and called her mother, Tereasa Martin, to see if she had returned home because they couldn’t find her. Hours later, a FB Live, showing Kenneka’s last moments, was discovered on a friend’s page. Viewers believed they could hear what sounded like a woman’s moans and screams in the background and that it was Kenneka crying out for help. Kenneka could be seen in the reflection of her friend’s sunglasses, but reports that she was being sexually assaulted proved to be unfounded. Her friend Irene Roberts opened up about the night Kenneka went missing in an hour-long interview. According to Irene, they were all leaving the hotel with Kenneka, who was drunk. When they left the room, she realized she left her phone and keys in the room. When they went back to find her belongings Kenneka slipped away. Conspiracy #2: Her Friends Set Her Up A theory began circulating pointing to Kenneka’s friends. According to this narrative, her friends set her up to be raped for money. The incident turned fatal and she was murdered then dumped in the freezer. While this would explain why her clothing appeared to be falling off her body, it was debunked by surveillance footage that showed Kenneka walking alone. Skeptics bombarded her friends Irene and Monifa Shelton’s social media pages, leading to Shelton posting an emotional message about their friendship. “Can y’all please leave me alone bro we been bestfriend since 3rd grade we did everything together literally everything we use to call ourself the nene twins we slept together ate together broke bread together that was my ace it hurting me I never thought I was be doin this we suppose to be takin trips we had shit planned out I’m so sorry g we sisters for life.” Conspiracy #3: It’s A Cover-up Tereasa Martin believes there was foul play involved in the death of her daughter. According to Martin, hotel employees wouldn’t check security footage within the first hours Kenneka went missing. And when they released the crime scene photos of Kenneka’s body were released to the public, the positioning of her body and disheveled clothing raised what her mother said was “more questions than answers.” The horrific images show Kenneka’s shirt lifted up, her pants pulled down and a shoe missing. She also had abrasions on her foot and one side of her body. Martin appeared on the Dr. Oz show, where Oz attempted to explain why Kenneka’s clothing could have been effected by the hypothermia with a phenomenon called paradoxical undressing. According to Oz, someone suffering fatal hypothermia may feel a rush of heat when they attempt to undress themselves. However, he stated, “more than likely it’s not what happened, but it’s a possibility.” There has been no resolve why her clothing appeared that way. RIP ANGEL! — Michelle… (@iAmMissMichelle) September 7, 2018 Conspiracy #3: Someone Followed Her Into The Freezer Public demand for footage of Kenneka Jenkins before her death reached a climax after Chicago activist Andrew Holmes held a press conference claiming he saw footage of Kenneka physically walking into the freezer and not coming out. “The important part of this we always wondered and wanted to know: Did anybody pull her down there, did anybody force her down there, was anybody on the other side in the room when she got down there, and the answer to that is no,” Holmes said at the press conference. Detectives released the footage to the public afterwards, but it didn’t show Kenneka walking in the freezer like Holmes suggested. What the surveillance did show was Kenneka drunkenly stumbling around the halls of the hotel. The video ends with the intoxicated teen walking into a deserted kitchen area but not into the freezer, which added to theories detectives were covering-up a murder. Conspiracy Theory #5: The footage Was Altered It's been almost one year since Kenneka Jenkins was murdered YES murdered. The footage was heavily edited and her death was a cover up. They believe the footage was edited to cover up her murder. Several videos popped up on Youtube suggesting someone else can be seen following Kenneka before the angles switch. Some even suggested the red lines on the footage prove there’s another person in proximity. We pick up from where we left off with Ghost claiming he’s going to go down for his family but Angie reminds him that Ghost ain’t about to turn himself in because no matter what, all roads will lead back to Tasha, Angie and Tariq. Ghost then gets the bright idea to frame Dre because, in his mind, Tariq is in this trouble because of Dre. Ghost leaves, then Tasha tells Angela that Kanan is actually the one they should frame. Plus, we all know that if Ghost turns himself in then this would only make authorities more suspicious since he already has a target on his back. The feds are still trying to find some solid evidence against James, but Donovan informs them he can’t find any surveillance from what Teresi mentioned about Ghost’s little prison massacre. That’s still not going to stop their investigation though. They’re going to try to find something if it’s the last thing they do. Later on, Tommy reminds Ghost that they can’t take him out yet because they need Dre to get to Alicia Jimenez first. Proctor got his license back but the feds still won’t let him live. Mak and Saxe are pressing him for any info they can use on James. They ask him for info on the prison guard death and in this case, he really doesn’t know anything about that. Proctor plays hardball but then they claim they have a witness to the murder (Teresi). Then they threaten to charge him as a conspirator if he doesn’t give them the goods. That leaves Proctor looking like… via GIPHY Meanwhile, Tariq has been working with Kanan and selling drugs at him school but this relationship is doomed. Eventually, Angela and Tasha summon Tariq because Angela needs info on Ray Ray that could be helpful in figuring out this situation. Tariq makes it clear that he doesn’t trust Angela, but he gives up the goods anyway, including how Kanan introduced him to Jukebox and we all know how that ended. Tariq gets tired of the questioning, after a while, and figures out that Tasha is trying to frame Kanan again. He goes on this angsty rant about how Tasha is working with the woman who ruined their lives then calls Tasha a backstabber. Tasha cuts to the chase: either she could go to jail for killing Ray Ray or Kanan. Tariq tells her to find another way. via GIPHY By now we’ve learned that Keisha got served so testify before a grand jury over the Ray Ray case. She is pissed because she never thought it would come to that and she doesn’t want to put her freedom on the line. She’s also tired of Tasha being a selfish friend who is always using her for criminal activity, you know, money laundering through her shop, etc. All this and Tasha hasn’t even seen her son in a while. Tasha begs Keisha to lie for her and says if she doesn’t then she’ll be sending Tasha and Tommy to jail. via GIPHY Now we’re back to Tariq rolling with Kanan. They finally have the conversation about Kanan killing his own son. Tariq is disgusted. Kanan says he didn’t take a DNA test anyway and that he loved Sean, but Sean was weak and disloyal and that Tariq is more his son than Sean ever was. Tariq wants to know how he could kill someone he loves. Kanan says, “Sometimes you’re not a real killer until you do.” Kanan, you are a psychopath. Never change. Proctor links up with his criminal cousin with the laptop. THE LAPTOP. Obviously, his cousin tells him to get rid of it because it could implicate him in the murder of that homeland security agent. Proctor says he’s holding on to it as insurance. There’s a recording on there that can put Tommy and Ghost away for life. He’d have to burn himself in the process but he could get immunity for doing it and he’d probably have to go to witness protection. But, the one thing Proctor loves more than anything is his daughter. That’s all he wants in this world. Plus, e says he’s tired of being strong-armed by Tommy and Ghost. He likes them, but he didn’t even want to work with them they kind of forced him into it given his wife situation and he doesn’t think they’d be loyal to him. into working for them and he’s tired of being harassed by the feds too. Basically, it’s survival time. Now, back to Tariq and Kanan. They’re in Kanan’s car and Tariq is about to make a drop for Kanan, but then the fuzz pull up on them asking for license and registration and that whole spiel. This situation escalates to the two of them being asked to step out of the car. Turns out, they searched the trunk and find a gun, you guessed it, it’s Tasha’s gun. Of course, Kanan doesn’t know how that got there! via GIPHY Police reveal that Tasha reported Tariq missing and Kanan fits the kidnapping suspect. This technically isn’t a lie since Kanan actually once did kidnap Tariq, but whatevs. Anyway, they ask Tariq if he’s being held against his will and Tariq says yes so police take him. Kanan is looking like, this BS again? via GIPHY Hold that thought because at the same time, we see Ghost and Tasha arguing back and forth because Ghost finds out what Tasha did and he’s livid because she put Tariq’s life in danger because we all know Kanan isn’t going down without a fight (Tasha naively thinks Tariq will be okay because he’s with police smh). Newsflash: Kanan is a savage How savage is he? Kanan is so savage that he starts a shootout with all the police as Tariq, who is locked in the back of a police car, watches helplessly. Y’all, this is at least four or more officers Kanan is battling and he got the drop on the first one as he was being placed in handcuffs. via GIPHY Kanan takes all of the cops out, but not before getting shot a couple of times himself. Now, we’re thinking that Kanan’s 10th life is about to kick into effect because, in lieu of murdering Tariq, he just gives him a disappointed look, hobbles to his car and drives away. That’s when we see him spitting up blood at the steering wheel. The care loses speed, gets stopped by a fence and then we see Kanan’s lifeless body lying against the steering wheel. Detectives bring Tariq to the police station to be reunited with his parents and they all face a line of questioning in the Ray Ray case, including Keisha, who ends up corroborating their lie that Kanan stole Tasha’s gun and killed Ray Ray out of loyalty since he’s a friend of the St. Patrick Family. Tariq lays in on really thick with his story about how Ray Ray knew that he knew that he was stealing from his friends and that he was scared and didn’t know what to do. He even puts on the waterworks and apologizes for not saying anything. The police buy the story. Checkmate. Then we cut to Dre at his club. Diego’s severed head is in a freezer and cops are all over the place like roaches when the lights go out. We get back to Proctor, who tells the feds that he doesn’t have anything to give them on James but if anyone is helping Ghost out then it’s Angela Valdez. The episode wraps with Tommy and Ghost at the morgue viewing Kanan’s body. Tommy tells Ghost that Kanan said he would do this. Tommy wants to know how many more of his people he plans on killing. Ghost reveals that this Tasha and Tariq’s plan but Tommy doesn’t believe it. “This ain’t what family does,” Tommy adds. The seeds of distrust are flourishing. Before that, she’d been kind of dim and awful, but afterwards, she began turning into the Farrah we know today. And just to be clear, the Farrah we know today is the one who gets arrested for assaulting hotel employees , goes on and on about how famous she is, and is completely incapable of stringing a proper sentence together. As the years have gone on, she’s gotten more self-centered, more out of touch with reality, more plastic … It’s actually a pretty tragic situation. For those of us who have been keeping up with her, it’s clear that something is going on with her. Some people claim she obviously has a drug problem , others, like her own mother, say she may suffer from mental illness . But in an Instagram Live video she shared yesterday, she insisted that neither of those rumors are true. And she’s going to prove it! In the video, she explains “I took a drug test yesterday because I was so tired of everyone insinuating or acting like I have time to go do drugs or something, like I have some like addictive personality.” She adds that she doesn’t care if anyone else does have an addictive personality, but “if you wanna hate on me and try to screw with my career over drugs or … what’s the other thing people say?” “Oh, I am bipolar or mentally ill!” Farrah says “I don’t even have that,” but just in case you don’t feel like you can take her word for it, she’s going to offer up some proof. “What I’m going to do is, for all the little haters and liars, I’m going to actually post my drug test and my mental wellness health being test up probably by the end of the month,” she claims. And yes, she honestly did say “my mental wellness health being test.” “I’m going to just post it up,” she continues, “so all the liars and all the haters can go eat sh-t, and then you guys can go cry and make up something else about me to hurt or act like my career is gonna be affected.” Well, we’ll say this: we sincerely cannot wait to see the results of Farrah’s drug test, and especially her mental wellness health being test. Because if she’s not taking any drugs, and she’s not dealing with mental illness, then that means that all the things that have been happening lately is just Farrah being Farrah. Heck, Javi Marroquin burned through Briana DeJesus, Kailyn Lowry and current baby mama Lauren Comeau in a matter of months. Delicia Cordon Moves Out Of LeSean McCoy’s House After Attack LeSean McCoy seems to have gotten his wish. His estranged girlfriend, Delicia Cordon, and her children have moved out of his home. If you’ll recall, Delicia was brutally pistol-whipped inside of LeSean’s home last week, and she hinted from the start that her ex-baller boo was behind orchestrating the attack. LeSean had apparently tried to have his friends and family illegally evict Delicia while she was out of town, and later had an associate file legal documents to have a court remove her from the home. She was attacked just one day before they were set to meet in court over the matter. Now, TMZ reports that moving trucks were spotted outside of LeSean’s home. Sources tell them that Delicia has relocated to a home she considers safer, and has private security on the premises.
