(Photo by Prince Williams/WireImage) Jim Jones Arrested In Georgia According to TMZ, a vehicle containing Jim Jones led Georgia cops on a chase that ended with him getting busted for alleged possession of drugs and a handgun. He was eventually was arrested in Cowetta County. The NYC rapper was reportedly a backseat passenger in a car cops pulled over Thursday night. The Sheriff’s department is reporting that instead of stopping, the car accelerated. During the chase, the car struck a deputy’s vehicle before stopping. Per TMZ : Jones and three others were reportedly in the car. Deputies allegedly found marijuana, oxycodone, Percocet, vape cartridges, THC oil, 2 loaded pistols and “petty” cash. One of the pistols was stolen, according to cops. Neither Jones nor his friends admitted possession of any of the items … but Jones said he had a prescription for the Oxy and Percocet pills. Jones also told cops he told the driver to pull over, but she was acting “incoherent.” Since no one claimed the paraphernalia … everyone was busted. Jones was charged for possession of the stolen gun, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime and possession of narcotics … all felonies. He also got a misdemeanor for the prescription pills not being in their original container. Yikes! Jimmy was released on $7,000 bail. Do you think he was (allegedly) popping all those pills recreationally???
In December, Jax Taylor’s father died following a cancer battle . Cancer is the actual worst, folks. Months later, on his late father’s birthday, Jax has taken to social media to share his thoughts on his dearly departed dad. Jax was clearly able to be emotionally honest, because you can tell that he wrote this from the heart. Jax Taylor’s father, Ronald Cauchi, is gone but not forgotten by his son. On Tuesday, June 12, Jax posted a tribute to his father on Instagram. “Happy birthday to my angel in the sky,” Jax writes. “I love you so much dad and I miss you more and more each day.” Losing a loved one can get easier over time, but … not in just a few months. “Since you have left you have changed me in so many ways,” Jax writes. Recent stories about Jax have made it sound like he’s really thinking about what sort of person he wants to be. Jax then adds: “Thank you for being my father.” There is no good time to lose a loved one. “My new goal in life,” Jax announces. “Is to be exactly the man you are to your family.” He makes it clear that he is not the only one who thinks that his father was a good person. Jax continues: “Jenny and I are still getting messages from your friends on what an incredible man you are…” He adds elipses there at the end, showing that he is pausing to find the words. This is an emotional message. “I am so f–king proud to be your son dad,” Jax writes. That is so sweet. His father is going to miss on some major life milestones. “My only wish is that you could see me and Brittany on our wedding day,” Jax laments.”And meet your grandchildren.” Jax and Brittany Cartwright are actually engaged . Like we said, it seems like he’s really stepping up. Jax takes comfort in one thing: “But I know you will be with me in spirit and help guide me the rest of my life.” That is so heartwarming to read. “I love you dad…” Jax trails off again. Even in print, sometimes deep and powerful emotions can be difficult to express. “Until we see each other again, keep the fireball ready and the redwing game on.” Jax ends his post on a seemingly alarming note. “I’ll see you soon,” he writes. “Cheers pop.” Despite his phrasing, we absolutely do not believe that Jax is expressing the expectation that he will die any time soon. We think that he instead means that, in comparison to the vastness of eternity, the rest of his long and hopefully happy life will seem relatively short. This is a sweet and tender message and shows how sensitive Jax can be as a person. Not only was Jax’s father’s birthday this week, but Father’s Day is coming up right around the corner. You know that this holiday celebration is going to be emotionally challenging for Jax. Perhaps even surprisingly so. When you are grieving a loved one for that first year, sometimes you don’t always anticipate which days are going to have the strongest emotional impact. Father’s Day is not one of the subtle ones. Last year, viewers slammed Eminem's performance . They called him a hack and a has been. Hey, everone's a critic, right? Now, however, he's being criticized for something much more serious — for setting off gunshot noises at his concert. The crowd visibly ducked in fear. And he's getting dragged for making thousands of people think that they were about to die in a hail of bullets. The Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, most often known as Bonnaroo, isa four-day music festival that takes place each summer in Manchester, Tennessee. If you live in Tennessee or any of the surrounding states, this is the festival that your friends who are willing to brave musicals attend each year. Unfortunately, some concert-goers received a serious fright. During his song, “Kill You,” pyrotechnics produced a chillingly realistic gunshot noise. So much so that, as you can see in the video that we included, the crowd was ducking in fear. The video quickly circulated on Twitter, inciting outrage. “Less than a year after Vegas and @ Eminem thinks it’s a good idea to blast gun shot sfx onstage at a music festival? Bad call on this headliner @ bonnaroo . What happened to Radiate Positivity?” The Las Vegas shooting that claimed dozens of lives and wounded hundreds took place at the beginning of last October. Many of the victims had attended a Jason Aldean concert. For concert-goers to hear very realistic gunshot noises … it seems very natural for so many of them to instinctively fear for their lives. That doesn't sound like a good time. Eminem is no stranger to controversy. His team responded that these were not actual “gunshot” noises, but pyrotechnic concussion effects featuring a sonic boom. That seems like splitting hairs, but whatever. As always, his diehard fans were eager to jump to his defense. One person took to Twitter to refer to a previous performance of “Kill You.” “You can hear the same sound at the end you idiots. Watch some Eminem performance before going to one.” That's a little harsh. “So you grew up listening to Eminem but you didn’t expect gun shot sounds on his set.” Well, some would argue that it's a different experience when mass shootings are so common. “The gunshot actually makes the performance 10 times better.” We'll take that person's word for it. Some have argued that legislation should curtail this sort of element within a performance. There would be legal precedent. A famous First Amendment exception to free speech is using that speech to do harm, such as shouting “fire” in a crowded theater. Many would say that Eminem setting off such realistic sounding gunshots is the equivalent, and could provoke the crowd to trample each other in fear. After all, actual mass shootings occur multiple times per week, thanks to the widespread and virtually unchecked availability of tools designed for killing. Gunshots in music online or in other media (such as films) is different, as it comes with a visual context and is not usually consumed in massive, dense crowds of people who are standing shoulder-to-shoulder. Are gunshot effects in concerts a threat to concert-goers? Were Eminem's diehard defenders right to criticize fans for freaking out at the sounds of gunshots, since they were expected by many as part of the show? Or were concert-goers right to react instinctively — better safe than sorry — and were critics right to condemn the use of the sounds? Maybe the problem has nothing to do with the audience, the critics, or even Eminem. Maybe living every single day with the knowledge that we could die in a hail of bullets while going to a theater or using mass transit or attending school or a house of worship is the culprit. Perhaps fixing our nation's gun culture and gun epidemic will help to repair some of the other fractures and conflicts in our society. And people won't have any reason to fear attending a concert.

Ranch That Hosted Kanye’s Listening Party Bans Rappers From Property Kanye West took his energy and his business to Jackson Hole, Wyoming — an area known NOT to have a large Black presence. In a completely not shocking turn of events, it seems the community wasn’t too happy to have ‘Ye and his “kind” being all loud and happy and isht on their turf. According to The Blast , venue owner Jane Golliher says there’s no way she’s having any more rappers throw events on her property. The woman, who owns and operates the Diamond Cross Ranch in Moran, Wyoming where Kanye flew out 400 of his friends, associates, and members of the media for his “‘Ye” listening bash, claims that the event was the most confusing thing she’s ever been a part of. She says that Kanye’s event was originally supposed to be held indoors, but the rapper changing his mind “every 30 minutes” eventually that led to the speakers being carted outside and music blasted at extensively high decibels, causing near-instant calls and complaints from nearby lodges. Kanye also reportedly claimed that the event would wrap up around 10 pm…but he didn’t actually get started until 9:30 pm, and violated the noise ordinance in the area. Either way, Jane Golliher claims she has no beef with Kanye, but wishes she had charged the rapper $50,000 or more to have the event in her space and insists that no more rappers will be holding anything on her land. She says she’s open to a “day concert” that falls in line with noise levels, and only features “good music.” There’s that middle America ‘Ye loves so much. The Royal Wedding may be over, but the Royal Life has only just begun for Meghan Markle. Mere days after she captured the heart of a nation by exchanging vows with Prince Harry, Markle made her first official appearance. Not as Meghan Markle, of course. But as The Duchess of Sussex. Equipped with this new title and the perfect look to go along with it, Markle attended a 70th birthday party in honor of her father-in-law, Prince Charles. He is also the man who walked Meghan down the aisle last Saturday after Meghan’s own father fell victim to some health problems. Prince Harry and his lovely wife arrived at Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday afternoon to attend a garden party for the former’s dad, a gathering that caused the newlyweds to postpone their honeymoon. It remains unclear exactly where the couple will vacation when they do finally get away from it all, but most Royal Sources assume it will be somewhere in Africa. For this festive occasion, Harry went with a classic black suit over a white button-down shirt and a blue necktie. Markle, whose fashion will now be scrutinzed for the rest of her life, donned a pale pink hat and a blush-colored Goat dress with sheer detailing. She styled her brunette hair in a chic side chignon. In photos from the party, Markle is seen sharing a laugh Charles and with Charles and Duchess Camilla, as over 6,000 people actually attended this celebration. Prince Charles does not turn 70 until November 14, but this event served to honor patronage, military affiliations and the charities he supports. The gathering also recognized the emergency personnel who responded to the terror attack at Ariana Grande’s concert at the Manchester Arena, which took place exactly one year ago on Tuesday. Such an awful tragedy. In the days since the wedding, Prince Charles has received heaps of praise in the British press for the welcome he offered to Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland. At one point, he was seen taking Doria’s hand in the chapel when she was overcome with the emotion of the big day. Later, he walked with her as he departed the chapel alongside his wife. Harry and Meghan, of course, tied the knot in front of approximately 600 guests at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Saturday, May 19. Later that night, they celebrated at a private reception – hosted by Charles – with about 200 of their close friends and family members. They haven’t said anything in public yet about the wedding, but the newlyweds did pose for this gorgeous photos shortly after they made their union official: Simply breathtaking, isn’t it? “The couple will be going on honeymoon, but not straightaway,” said Kensington Palace spokesman Jason Knauf, adding: “They will have their first engagement as a married couple in the week after the wedding.” At some point, we’d also have to imagine Markle and Harry sit down for a joint interview as a married couple. Real Housewives are often shown drinking and displaying out-of-control behavior on camera. But how do you know when it’s gone too far and is bleeding over into real life? Eyewitnesses claim that they saw RHONY star Sonja Morgan “wasted and humping” people almost indiscriminately. Sonja is denything that claim … sort of. Page Six reports that Sonja Morgan was spotted at downtown hot spot Paul’s Baby Grand last week. And from the descriptions, it sounds like she was feeling no pain. “She rolled in straight from the ‘Watch What Happens Live’ studio, wasted and humping people.” Well, so long as that was all consensual humping, that sounds like she was just living her best life. And that, the source reveals, was just the beginning. “She was making out with blondes [of both genders] and then left with one.” Oh dang. Good for her! But is it true? Sonja actually spoke to Page Six to clear the air. Sort of. “This always happens to me!” That’s quite the opening line. “I was dancing with a bunch of girlfriends and my friends.” So she knew these various blonds and blondes, then? Sonja then casts doubt on the claims about her behavior. “Humping? What does that mean? Dancing? Grinding? Humping?” Well, dancing is … dancing. Grinding involves sliding parts of your body against parts of someone else’s. And humping … we don’t have it in us to explain what humping is, to Sonja Morgan or to anyone else. “That’s all in the eye of the beholder.” Is it , though? Those sound like pretty straightforward descriptions of activities. We should note that she’s not exactly shooting down the rumor that she was wasted. She just says that it’s a bit of an overstatement. “I was drinking, yes. It’s all so exaggerated. I was having fun.” No one is questioning that she was having a blast. “That’s why I like to have my parties on Wednesdays at home.” That is super specific, but she means that she prefers the privacy. “Because everything gets exaggerated.” That’s the price of fame, unfortunately. “You can’t even go out anymore.” In case anyone is worried that she’s falling prey to substance abuse, she mentions that this has come up before. “Bethenny [Frankel] confronted me about my drinking binges, whatever season that was …” She says that she totally went with Bethenny’s advice. “I reflected, went to a therapist, talked to my doctors, tested all my bloods.” Okay, tested all my bloods is an amazing line. Someone please embroider that onto something. “I wanted to see, ‘Do I have a problem?’ And it came out, ‘No, you don’t have a problem. But, you know, you’re going through a lot, you need to talk to somebody.” Sometimes, that’s the case. Now, we absolutely do not mean to in any way victim-blame when we ask this question, but … … If Sonja is lamenting that this “always happens” to her, but notices that this does not happen to all of her costars, does that mean that she’s doing something that they aren’t? But let’s be super clear about this: Sonja isn’t being accused of any kind of wrongdoing whatsoever. The source simply described her as having a very good time in a way that would scandalize Mike Pence, who probably thinks that the pleasant relief of sneezing is best reserved for heterosexual marriage. Sonja’s solution might be, rather than fighting the rumors, to just say: “Hell yeah I had a blast!” Even things were exaggerated.
