Nick Cannon Addresses Rumors He Wouldn’t Sign Off On “Divorce Papers”… As Mariah Talks Wedding Plans!

Nick Cannon Releases Statement With “Divorce Papers” Despite reports that he wouldn’t sign off to finalize his divorce, we really didn’t think Nick Cannon was still tripping over Mariah Carey… and that’s pretty much what he says too, although he just dropped a freestyle that definitely shows he has love for his estranged wife . Check out the freestyle below, along with a lengthy statement from Cannon via KarenCivil : My purpose for creating this “Divorce Papers” freestyle was not to feed the tabloid chatter, or even to diffuse it. This was strictly a creative way for me to express my frustrations with the media, the naysayers, myself and ultimately with the voices in my head. One late night in my studio, after hearing the recent accusations against me and my character, I turned on my drum machine, found this amazing Willie Hutch sample, looped it, and went into the booth and let it all out. It felt great! I’ve been sitting on the song for almost a week now because I was really torn on whether or not I should release it. The last thing I would ever want to do is add fuel to the fire, especially a fire that was fabricated by the press. But, ultimately I felt it was necessary to clear the air and set the record straight once and for all. My Ex and I are in a great place and are diligently moving things along so we both can continue to be happy. I am happy for her and all her new endeavors, both personal ones and professional ones. I sincerely hope the media doesn’t once again try to manipulate my words or my purpose for releasing this song. As the world knows, I am an open book and I’m proud of that. When it comes to expressing myself, I take the fearless approach and that’s what I chose to do here. As Father’s Day approaches this weekend, I’ve been reflecting quite a bit on my life as a father and how I want to be the best one I can be, the way my father figures were to me. So with that said, I just ask that the public continues to respect our process and remain patient and loving as me and my family aim for happiness. What did you think of the music and the statement? We wonder if anyone else is gonna have something to say about him name-dropping Kim. In the meantime, Mariah has been busy making wedding plans. Hit the flip to find out the latest details not that. Jenelle Evans & Leah Messer: Teen Mom 2 Producer Responds to Reality Stars’ Accusations

If you watch Teen Mom 2 online , you know that the young mothers who star on the show aren’t always portrayed in the most flattering light. Some of the ladies have publicly bitten the hand that feeds them by blaming the network and the show’s producers for making them look like negligent, irresponsible, or otherwise unfit parents.  Back in March, Leah Messer slammed Teen Mom 2 editors after she was criticized by viewers for seemingly rushing her daughters off to school without breakfast. Just this week, Jenelle Evans threatened to quit the show after a scene in which her boyfriend, David Eason, referred to her 6-year-old son as a “bitch” was captured on camera. (We’re not sure how she can blame that one on editing, but it’s best not to try and understand Jenelle’s reasoning.) But it’s not just the Carolina Hurricanes and Hot Messers who have been critical of the show and its creators. Viewers have frequently taken to social media to demand the show’s cancelation on the grounds that it sets a bad example to young mothers, encourages self-destructive behavior in its stars, or damages the lives of their young children. Apparently fed up with the criticism he receives from all sides, longtime TM2 producer Morgan J. Freeman (the “J” is crucial) vented his frustrations on Twitter today: “Sometimes having more eyes on a situation is inherently safer than none,” Freeman tweeted, apparently addressing critical viewers. “Do your homework.” He added, “You are the eyes. this is the process … I can’t make people do what I’d prefer they do. Can you?” Freeman then took down both hate-watchers and the Teen Moms themselves by reminding everyone that the role of documentary and reality television crews has traditionally to observe, not to intervene or skew perception: “We document what is happening,” he wrote. “We are not parents. We are not police. We do open up powerful discourse about many many things. That is good.” It’s an important reminder to both the stars of the show and the folks who are disgusted by their behavior that no one is responsible for what Leah and Jenelle do – except for Leah and Jenelle. Watch Teen Mom 2 online to decide for yourself if the show is an innocuous entertainment, a force for good, or a cancer on society.

Harry Styles: Zayn Malik’s New Song SUCKS!

Earlier today, Zayn Malik dropped his debut solo single “Pillowtalk,” the first song off his upcoming album, “Mind of Mine.” Just hours after it was released, the track shot to the number one spot on the iTunes charts, thanks in no small part to an accompanying steamy music video featuring Zayn and his girlfriend Gigi Hadid . But there is one individual who is decidedly NOT a fan: Harry Styles. Zayn’s former One Direction band mate dissed the song big time, according to HollywoodLife . “Harry thinks it’s called ‘Pillowtalk’ because the song puts you to sleep,” an insider told the site . “He really doesn’t think that it is as good as anything that 1D has done with or without Zayn.” Well, the man has a right to his opinion, but it kinda sounds like sour grapes to me. Perhaps Harry is peeved that Zayn has been trash talking the band of late. Earlier in the week, Zayn confessed that he never really wanted to be a part of 1D and just sort of did it because it was “there at the time.” He went on to state that 1D’s music just wasn’t his “cup of tea,” and he thought the rest of the boys knew it at the time. Maybe someone needs to tell Harry that just because Zayn’s doing well doesn’t mean 1D can’t, too.  If, of course, they are actually still together. The band is currently on hiatus for an indefinite amount of time, and many fans are speculating that the band has in fact called it quits for good. Looks like Zayn’s jumping ship might’ve been one of the best decisions he’s ever made.

Blac Chyna: ARRESTED For Public Intoxication, Booted Off Plane at the Airport!

Tyga’s baby mama and Rob Kardashian’s controversial girlfriend Blac Chyna was arrested at the airport earlier today in Austin, Texas. After allegedly getting drunk and becoming absolutely belligerent on a flight, the notorious stripper and Kardashian foe got popped in ATX . TMZ reports that she was in Austin-Bergstrom airport en route from LAX to London, and on her way to her connecting flight, she got loud. Then louder, and louder, and more obnoxious. It’s not clear why, but she stormed toward the gate and began screaming at an airline employee, calling her a “Nasty ass bitch.” Police were alerted to her shenanigans, followed her onto the plane, arrested her on the spot and dragged her drunk ass off. Witnesses say Blac was “heavily intoxicated” on the plane, “fighting” with a flight attendant and generally acting “like a drunken fool.” According to a passenger, she was screaming at one point, “Y’all got no respect for me. I gotta tie my shoes. Let me tie my Yeezys.” Somewhere, ‘Ye has to be smiling a little. Chyna, who has been ALL OVER the news this week thanks to her latest romance, was crying as she was handcuffed and escorted out. Interestingly, Blac was at LAX gushing about Rob and his sisters just a few hours prior. Free booze in first class gets you every time. Also today, knowing the lightning rod was headed out of town, Kris Jenner went to Chyna’s house to smack some sense into her only son. While Kardashian loves his new girl and swears this isn’t a “revenge romance” of sorts, Blac’s arrest is only going to boost Kris’ argument. The 27-year-old was booked for public intoxication following her disorderly conduct on what was a brief but memorable Texas layover. As of this post, Chyna was still detained in jail. More details to follow as this story develops … View Slideshow: Blac Chyna Photos: Her Most Scandalous, Sexy Pics on Instagram!

Chris Brown Goes on Twitter Rant Against the Grammys

Chris Brown is angry. Fortunately, there’s no girlfriend anywhere near him against whom Brown can take out his frustrations. Instead, the controversial artist has taken to Twitter to offer up his thoughts on the current music industry and his place within it. Specifically, Brown is peeved that he’s only been nominated for a single 2016 Grammy Award. “#GRAMMY? This is probably the main reason I love being free to create any kind of music I want. Too many people kiss ass and work less,” Brown opened his rant. But he had a lot more to say than that on Friday night. “If u turn on ya radio right now I promise within the hour you will hear Chris Brown on damn near half the songs or I’ve co-written,” he wrote. “The awards used to mean something. Now it’s about likes, and memes.” Brown earned a Grammy nomination for his work on the “Only” single alongside Nicki Minaj, Drake and Lil Wayne. “I’m thankful to my fans,” he concluded, adding: “I am able to be the best artist I can without having to conform to the ways of my peers. I also need my commission. A lot of y’all are favorites are my Children!” View Slideshow: Chris Brown and Royalty: Father-Daughter Photos Brown released the album Royalty (named after his daughter) in late 2015. But while fatherhood has changed the star in some ways, he told Hot 97 recently that he wasn’t going to censor his music simply because he recently became a father: “For me, with my daughter and most of the records that I make are more sexual – that’s how my daughter was made.” That is literally true, we suppose.

Wale Vents His Frustration On The Portrayal Of Black Women In Media – “I Have Honestly Been Sick & Tired!”

Wale On Portrayals Of Black Women In Media Wale says he is weary of how Black women’s bodies have been reduced to azz-shots and weaves through the media and the popularization of social media. The rapper recently blogged about his frustrations, longing for days long gone when Black women could be sexy without taking their clothes off. As told to NecoleBitchie : I have honestly been sick and tired of our representation in the entertainment world. I feel like they curve “us” as a whole, then every blue moon they allow a pass for a Black person and we’re supposed to throw a party for it. My question is: What happened to Hollywood? I remember Lisa Bonet and a plethora of other beautiful Black women on “Different World.” I remember princess Jada [Pinkett]. I used to daydream about her. I was only in elementary school but when I first saw Jada I was in love. Nothing about this princess screamed, “Sex!” My mind was allowed to play with the idea of what lies under this fully clothed “around the way” girl. True, perhaps a child shouldn’t have such fantasies but that’s besides the point. Black women were represented in such a way that they were not hyper-sexualized objects created by doctors with the sole intent to take pictures, just to add on even more enhancements- be it Photoshop or an abundance of makeup with a sprinkle of good lighting. When Jeremih and I did a video for my single,”The Body,” it hurt my soul coming to the realization that there is hardly any positivity in Black Hollywood. Years ago I wanted to do a short movie for a single, with legendary director John Singleton. I’m not sure if he didn’t believe in me or if he plain old didn’t have the time to do it, but it never happened. Interesting… The rapper says his latest video for his single “The Body” was his attempt at counteracting some of the negative portrayals out there and to make brothers think of ladies a little differently than they do through IG filters. However, even if we were to do something that represented our culture, where would we start? Casting calls via Instagram? Today’s directors head straight to Instagram for their next star, with casting more or less being determined by how many “likes” a woman receives on the regular. “The Body,” was an attempt to get us, as Black people, headed in a more elevated direction. Mariah [the model I used in the video] kind of epitomized what I felt a normal beautiful “round the way” girl looked like. These days, we spend so much time focusing on “that assssss, ” we forget how much of love’s chemistry is contingent to a beautiful face and genuine personality. Personalities that used to cut through our television screens when Jada would flex that B’more attitude in a scene. The authenticity back when there was no desire to portray women as just an over-sexualized, clay-like-body to Instagram-obsessed people! Yes, I’m aware that my latest single is called “The Body.” I also am aware we that barely showed the body… Maybe, just maybe, I thought I could trick these dudes into looking a little deeper. And if only for one video, bring back the glory days of a more genuinely prestigious, “Black Hollywood.” Illuminate. Nice! What do you think of what Wale has to say?
