Game of Thrones Preview: Now What?!?

Sometimes in sports, a team will come out on top in a very important game. They'll defeat their major rival in exciting fashion and be riding especially high afterwards, thinking nothing can ever bring them down. But this excitement causes them to overlook the following opponent and they end up playing what is typically referred to as a “letdown” game. And they end up losing such a game. We bring all of this up to say the following to Dany, Jon Snow and especially Arya Stark: Celebrate your victory over the Night Kind and his undead forces. But not too hard and not for too long. Because there's a certain evil queen and her army just waiting to strike their vulnerable foe in the next inevitable battle. Following the epic events in  Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 3 , it's hard to imagine where this series will go next. But one need not try to imagine because a brand new installment airs in just a few days — and we've got your very first look at it here. In the tease featured here, Daenerys promises that the “last war” is coming to Westeros, clearly preparing her decimated army to march against Cersei in the capital city. However, Sansa is not comfortable with her family’s alliance with Dany and isn't shy about expressing such grievances. Meanwhile, in King’s Landing, Cersei appears to be preparing to fight while fending off advances from the odious Euron Greyjoy, whose army she needs to win any future battle — but whose company she may be growing tired of. Will all of this feel rather anticlimactic after our heroes and heroines took down the Night King? Perhaps. But many viewers out there think the political power struggle is where the bulk of the intrigue lies on this drama. Are you among them? There's also the issue of Bronn having been enlisted to kill Tyrion and Jaime, as well as Jaime coming across the sister he has now betrayed. He has to be the one to eventually kill Cersei, right? He simply has to be. Before we get too far ahead of ourselves, however, let's just take a look ahead to this Sunday and Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4. Check out the preview now!

A Girl Is The Baddest: Maisie Williams Talks THAT Epic Closing Scene In GOT’s Battle Of Winterfell

Source: Mike Coppola/FilmMagic / Getty Maisie Williams Talks The Battle Of Winterfell It really did happen, and Arya Stark was the one who did it. GOT SPOILERS AHEAD—YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. During the EPIC Battle of Winterfell “Game Of Thrones” fans waited on Bated breath to see if their favorite characters would survive a standoff with the Night King. It looked like all was lost; the wights had climbed the wall of Winterfell and were overwhelming Brienne of Tarth and Jamie Lannister who fought side by side, Jon looked like he was about to be burned to a fiery crisp by Viserion and the Night King was SECONDS away from slaughtering Bran—–and then NOONE appeared. Noone as in ARYA STARK appeared and a girl jumped to stab the Night King with a Valyrian steel dagger. You probably gasped when you saw her drop it—but she quickly snatched it with her other hand and plunged it into the Night King’s chest, stabbing him square in the heart and ending the battle. According to Maisie Williams who plays the epic character, she was worried fans would be disappointed to see that Jon Snow didn’t kill the Night King after following him for several seasons. She said her own boyfriend told her that Jon should be the one to do it. “It was so unbelievably exciting,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “But I immediately thought that everybody would hate it; that Arya doesn’t deserve it. The hardest thing is in any series is when you build up a villain that’s so impossible to defeat and then you defeat them. It has to be intelligently done because otherwise people are like, ‘Well, [the villain] couldn’t have been that bad when some 100-pound girl comes in and stabs him.’ You gotta make it cool. And then I told my boyfriend and he was like, ‘Mmm, should be Jon though really, shouldn’t it?’” Maisie says however she felt redeemed when Arya got that pep talk again from Melisandre about “eyes she’ll close forever.” “When we did the whole bit with Melisandre, I realized the whole scene with [the Red Woman] brings it back to everything I’ve been working for over these past 6 seasons — 4 if you think about it since [Arya] got to the House of Black and White,” Williams says. “It all comes down to this one very moment. It’s also unexpected and that’s what this show does. So then I was like, ‘F—k you Jon, I get it.’” A girl is the baddest. 90 Day Fiance Sneak Peek: Chantel Makes Pedro Feel Like Effing Dirt

Earlier this month, we reported that Chantel and Pedro are getting their very own spinoff , called The Family Chantel . But they're also appearing in the new season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? (which premieres Sunday, April 28). In a new sneak peek, this couple is struggling to trust each other after the drama of Pedro's fight with Chantel's family. It's no secret that Chantel's family has major issues with Pedro. Viewers are still not over the incident in which Pedro stormed around the table to physically confront Chantel's brother. What followed was a full-on brawl. Producers leapt out from behind the cameras to break up the fight. Yes, there is such a thing as too much drama. Even after things appeared to have wound down, Pedro lashed out, kicking dishes on Chantel's mother's table. (Chantel's mom has since bought a taser in case anything like that happens again) In this new 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? sneak peek, we see that Chantel and Pedro are still dealing with the aftermath of that fight. And tensions are running high. “After the fight with Chantel's family,” Pedro confesses. “I no feel like emotional support [from] her for me.” “When your wife is not at your side,” he continues. “When your wife thinking all the problem is you,” Pedro adds. He expresses: “that make me feel like I am nothing at all.” “I'm like f–king s–t,” he characterizes. Pedro brings up that Chantel has blamed him. Real talk: it sounds like this is the emotional fallout from an angry outburst of Chantel's. If you tell your husband that he's the troublemaker right now, he's going to take that to heart. He feels betrayed and unloved that Chantel doesn't want to have a child right now. But Chantel says that Pedro misunderstands. “I don't feel like Pedro understands where I'm coming from,” Chantel expresses while speaking to the camera. She says that this confusion comes into play “when I say that I don't want to have children in a chaotic family.” Right now, her family is a huge mess — and she wouldn't want to force that situation upon a child. “I just don't want to have a child right now,” Chantel explains. She continues: “and have that child torn between my family and Pedro like I am.” That makes a tremendous amount of sense. After viewers saw her break down crying last year after Pedro attacked her family (and their table settings), everyone wondered: Is Chantel going to have to pick a side eventually? An alternative, of course, would be for her to just not mention disagreements with Pedro (or rather, Pedro's sister, Nicole). But that doesn't sound super emotionally healthy … or like a recipe for great reality television. Tragically, the only people in this sneak peek are Chantel and Pedro. Nobody — nobody — loves being on television as much as Chantel's mother. Her entire family is very entertaining. Which is, of course, why they've landed a spinoff series: The Family Chantel . The title itself comes from a phrase that Pedro used in the very episode in which the alarming fight broke out.

The Battle of Winterfell: New Game of Thrones Theory Has Fans Prematurely Outraged

Hey, was last week’s episode of Game of Thrones a little too slow for you?  Maybe you could’ve done with a little less reminiscing and goblet-sipping, and a little more of the sex and swordplay the show is famous for. Well if that’s the case, you’re in luck. Sunday night’s episode is certain to traumatize viewers for life with the deaths of several key characters. We’ve already discussed the various theories and who will die, and the consensus seems to be that some of GoT’s most badass warriors will be struck down at the Battle of Winterfell. (That’s also rumored to the episode title, although HBO is keeping that information under wraps again this week.) It’s not looking good for Brienne of Tarth, who basically competed her character arc by becoming a knight of the Seven Kingdoms. Similarly, Grey Worm fantasized about taking a relaxing vacation with Missandei, which is basically the Westeros equivalent of a cop fanstasizing about his upcoming retirement in an ’80s action movie. Even Arya’s not safe, as her sex scene with Gendry puts her at an increased risk for joining the Night’s Army. (Anyone who’s ever seen a horror movie knows that teens who lose their virginity are that much more likely to be dispatched in gory fashion shortly thereafter.) Of course, if Game of Thrones is anything, it’s unpredictable. The show has trafficked in shocking twists ever since the day Ned Stark lost his head playing politics in King’s Landing. So attempting to predict how the final four episodes will play out is a bit like trying to guess the subject of Trump’s next all-caps tweet tirade. Even the Three-Eyed Raven doesn’t know what goes in on inside that skull. So perhaps all of the brave warriors who fans have marked for death will still be standing at the end of the battle. And maybe the Night King will target a more vulnerable group. As you probably recall, Bran, Tyrion, Sam, and others who have been deemed unfit for battle will be hiding in the crypts below Winterfell. It’s a bad sign that multiple characters felt the need to proclaim how safe the crypts are in what might turn out to be a bit of heavy-handed foreshadowing. It’s an even worse sign that  Yes, if you spend much time in the GoT-obsessed corners of the internet, then by now, you’ve probably heard multiple theories about the Night King making a beeline for Bran and the rest of the crypt keepers. The most obvious hypothesis is that meme-able mic dropper will raise the dead and use them to help wage war against the defenseless. But there are other possibilities as well. Some believe NK was a Stark in life and that he’ll be drawn to the crypts for different reasons. Perhaps to retrieve Rhaegar Targaryen’s legendary harp, which might confer some sort of magical properties to the carrier, or might somehow be used to confrim Jon Snow’s true identity. Others believe the Night King is Rhaegar — though that seems unlikely given what we’ve already seen of his origin story. (Though it’s worth noting that while the show suggests the Children of the Forest created the White Walkers centuries before the main action of GoT, this may not be the case.) In any event, GoT S8E3 is sure to feature some epic warfare. In fact, it’s rumored that we’ll be seeing the longest battle sequence in the history of film or television. But it also promises much more than that — plot twists and character deaths that will set the stage for the final three episodes and the conclusion of the series. Aegon Targaryen himself, Kit Harington, has gone on record as saying that no one he’s spoken to yet has correctly predicted the ending. So we’ll hold off on even trying. Instead we’ll be here imagining how wild it would be if the the Walkers somehow emerged victorious. Would be cool to see, but the remaining episodes would probably get pretty boring with no dialogue. Robert Kraft: Arrest Made In Connection With Prostitution Ring

A net worth of a billion dollars or more brings with it advantages that go well beyond yachts and private jets. For example, you can make just about anything that’s bothering you disappear — including an enemy or two if you’re smart about it! But as New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft is currently learning the hard way, nothing hangs around quite like bad press. Even a 10-figure bank account can’t make a juicy scandal go away, particularly when it involves the head of a widely-despised sports franchise and a Florida massage parlor. As you’ve probably heard by now, Kraft was arrested  back in February for his connection to a Jupiter, FL prostitution ring. In the months since, Kraft has received some occasional good news. (He won’t be charged with human trafficking, for example.) But he’s received a whole lot more bad news. (Ever wanted to see video of Robert Kraft getting a hand job ? Because it looks like one is headed your way!) And this week is a particularly rough one for Kraft, as his “happy ending” kerfuffle is back in the headlines for two different reasons. For starters, the 77-year-old will be back in court on Friday, but this time, he’s the one who requested a hearing. Not surprisingly, Kraft wants to block the release of his handy home-movie. His lawyers argue that the footage would make it more difficult for Kraft to receive a fair trial — and honestly, they probably have a point. Plus, a 77-year-old getting cranked off while lying on a crusty massage table in South Florida? To quote the great philosopher Sweet Brown, ain’t nobody got time for that! And today, Kraft is back in the headlines unexpectedly, due to the arrest of Shen Mingbi one of his two, um … co-stars in the tape. According to TMZ, the video shows both Mingbi and a woman named Lei Wang and both are seen “using their hands on Kraft’s penis.” We’re a little disappointed TMZ passed up the opportunity for a solid Wang pun there, but maybe they figured the straight facts in this case are wild enough. Wang was arrested back in February but Mingbi was just taken into custody this week. She’s facing one count of deriving support from prostitution and eight counts of offer to commit prostitution. The phrase “deriving support” really reminds you that Wang and Mingbi probably had little choice in all this, and yet Kraft will certainly get a lighter sentence. What a country! What a Patriot! Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2 Photos: Tales From the Crypt

Quite understandably, HBO is playing it close to the vest when it comes to spoilers for the final season of Game of Throne s . As a result of this extreme secrecy, even details like episode titles are being kept under wraps, and fans are forced to fight over crumbs of information like the lowliest peasants in Flea Bottom. So here's what little we know so far about Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 2: It'll be longer than the season premiere — clocking in at 58 minutes — but still be considerably shorter than the four feature-length installments to follow. Also, it should provide a nice counterweight to all the pastel cheeriness of the Easter festivities that will precede it — though it might be just as concerned with resurrection from the dead. Oh, and we have the following photos from the episode, generously provided by HBO execs who know we'll drive ourselves mad dissecting them for details. Join us as we do exactly that, won't you? 1. Crypt Keepers Something is going down in the crypts at Winterfell. You can bet whatever scheme is being hatched in Varys’ noggin is way more frightening than all those decaying Stark corpses. 2. Hatching a Plan Jon and Arya are there as well. We guess they got over their little feud about how smart Sansa is. 3. Drinking and Knowing Things Naturally, Tyrion brought a goblet of red to the meeting. It’s stressful always being the most knowledgeable person in the room. 4. Sam’s Concerned Sam Tarly’s got a lot on his mind these days. He has a kid and a baby mama to worry about, an army of the undead is inching closer by the day, and now he’s forced to make nice with the woman who torched his husband and brother. 5. Bran Ruminates And then there’s Bran, doing what he does best — staring creepily into middle-distance and making everyone uneasy about what sort of earth-shattering insight he’s about to reveal. 6. Busted Big Time Speaking of Bran, the guy who put him in that wheelchair is about to be in some serious sh-t. In addition to that fateful shove in S1E1, Kingslayer Jaime Lannister got that name by icing the Khaleesi’s father. View Slideshow

Game of Thrones Season 8 Premiere SHATTERS Ratings Records!

After a wait that felt as long as winter north of the Wall, Game of Thrones returned for its final season on Sunday night. And if you spent the evening cringing when Jon made out with his aunt, or cheering when Bran stared daggers into Jaime’s soul, you certainly had plenty of company. The numbers for the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 8 are in — and they are staggering. Across all platforms (HBO, HBO GO and HBO NOW), a whopping 17.4 million people tuned in on Sunday night. And that number is certain to grow as more viewers return to Winterfell in the days to come. It’s officially GoT’s biggest episode to date, edging out the Season 7 finale , which drew in a then-unbelievable 16.9 million viewers. What may be even more surprising than the multi-platform numbers is the fact that more than 11 million people watched the premiere the old-fashioned way — by sitting down in front of the TV and turning on HBO. That’s the sort of event viewing that rarely happens anymore — and it’s what every network exec prays to the Seven Gods for. It’s also just one of many ways in which Thrones is a throwback juggernaut in the ratings department. These days, even popular shows tend to limp along and lose viewers as they reach the seven or eight season mark. But not Game of Thrones . GoT ratings have been climbing steadily since the very start, beginning with a comparatively paltry 9.3 million in Season 1 and swelling to a whopping 32.8 million for Season 7. (Those figures incorporate delayed viewing, on-demand, and streaming figures.) For comparison, huge network hits like This Is Us and The Big Bang Theory very rarely crack 20 million live viewers — and GoT is putting up similar numbers on a subscription service. In terms of the response from viewers, the premiere was met with overwhelming acclaim. Though there were a few holdouts who seemed to expect more after such a lengthy absence (The Game of Thrones Season 7 finale aired way back in August of 2017.), and felt that the installment had the feeling of a “place-setting” episode that was more concerned with setting the stage for things to come than with delivering an explosive hour of television. And to that we say, [SPOILER ALERT] only Game of Thrones could deliver dragons, zombies, revelations of incest, characters reuniting after seven seasons, and other major characters crossing paths for the very first time — and still have viewers demanding more. Oh, how we’ll miss it when it’s gone. View Slideshow: Game of Thrones Season 8 Photos: Smile, Jon Snow!

David Eason to Fans: See? Kaiser is NOT Afraid of Me!

If you watched Monday night’s episode of Teen Mom 2 , then we probably don’t have to explain to you why David Eason is not the most popular reality star in the world this week. The episode portrayed Eason and his famously volatile wife in such an unflattering light that Jenelle Evans threatened to quit the show and deleted her Twitter profile in protest. The newly-married Easons were depicted as bickering constantly and neglecting their many children. At one point, Jenelle’s youngest son, Kaiser, nearly knocked over an MTV camera, and many viewers cited it as further evidence of Evans’ incompetence as a parent. But while Jenelle has been ranting and raving and threatening her bosses on social media, David remained quiet in the days after the episode aired. Many fans assume Eason is lying low because he was once again exposed as an unfit father who has virtually no patience for Jenelle’s kids from previous relationships. Today, David seemed to indirectly respond to the widespread criticism by posting the below photo on Instagram: As you can see, the pic shows Eason seemingly enjoying the company of his wife and daughter, as well as Jenelle’s son Kaiser, who’s seated in his lap. Many fans commented that they were confused by the photo, as David harshly disciplined Kaiser last week, and seems to not get along with Jenelle’s sons in general. We’ve seen David openly mock Jace  and speak disparagingly of both boys and their fathers. Many fans have pointed out that if David engages in that sort of behavior on camera, there’s a good chance he’s even worse when he knows he’s not being filmed. Currently, Jenelle is engaged in multiple custody battles and David’s behavior seems to be making her case worse by the week. But as always, there are some diehard loyalists willing to defend the Carolina Hurricane and her troubled husband: “No matter what ppl say, honestly you been in those kids life, married their mom then that means treating the kids just like your own that includes-loving & disciplining,” commented one fan on the pic. “But either way if he just stood back while the kids misbehaved ppl would say “omg you can’t even step up and be a man/father figure.” “I must be watching a different show- kaiser is terrified of David? I remember him crying bc he WANTED David – in the backseat when jenelle had to call David on the phone while picking up Marisa,” wrote another. Perhaps Jenelle and her most faithful fans are right and David is merely being misrepresented. It’s possible–but we have our doubts Watch Teen Mom 2 online for more of Jenelle’s questionable parenting. View Slideshow: Jenelle Evans: Is She REALLY Quitting Teen Mom 2?!
