David Eason to Fans: See? Kaiser is NOT Afraid of Me!

If you watched Monday night’s episode of Teen Mom 2 , then we probably don’t have to explain to you why David Eason is not the most popular reality star in the world this week. The episode portrayed Eason and his famously volatile wife in such an unflattering light that Jenelle Evans threatened to quit the show and deleted her Twitter profile in protest. The newly-married Easons were depicted as bickering constantly and neglecting their many children. At one point, Jenelle’s youngest son, Kaiser, nearly knocked over an MTV camera, and many viewers cited it as further evidence of Evans’ incompetence as a parent. But while Jenelle has been ranting and raving and threatening her bosses on social media, David remained quiet in the days after the episode aired. Many fans assume Eason is lying low because he was once again exposed as an unfit father who has virtually no patience for Jenelle’s kids from previous relationships. Today, David seemed to indirectly respond to the widespread criticism by posting the below photo on Instagram: As you can see, the pic shows Eason seemingly enjoying the company of his wife and daughter, as well as Jenelle’s son Kaiser, who’s seated in his lap. Many fans commented that they were confused by the photo, as David harshly disciplined Kaiser last week, and seems to not get along with Jenelle’s sons in general. We’ve seen David openly mock Jace  and speak disparagingly of both boys and their fathers. Many fans have pointed out that if David engages in that sort of behavior on camera, there’s a good chance he’s even worse when he knows he’s not being filmed. Currently, Jenelle is engaged in multiple custody battles and David’s behavior seems to be making her case worse by the week. But as always, there are some diehard loyalists willing to defend the Carolina Hurricane and her troubled husband: “No matter what ppl say, honestly you been in those kids life, married their mom then that means treating the kids just like your own that includes-loving & disciplining,” commented one fan on the pic. “But either way if he just stood back while the kids misbehaved ppl would say “omg you can’t even step up and be a man/father figure.” “I must be watching a different show- kaiser is terrified of David? I remember him crying bc he WANTED David – in the backseat when jenelle had to call David on the phone while picking up Marisa,” wrote another. Perhaps Jenelle and her most faithful fans are right and David is merely being misrepresented. It’s possible–but we have our doubts Watch Teen Mom 2 online for more of Jenelle’s questionable parenting. View Slideshow: Jenelle Evans: Is She REALLY Quitting Teen Mom 2?!

Jason Momoa Apologizes for Resurfaced Rape Joke

On Thursday, Jason Momoa’s name was trending. Unlike when his Game of Thrones audition tape went viral , it was not in a positive way. With the recent allegations against Harvey Weinstein that have come to light, people are talking about sexual assault and Hollywood. For the most part, it’s great that this very difficult conversation is happening. An unacceptable comment that Jason Momoa made in the past came to light, stirring a lot of controversy. He has now issued an apology. Jason Momoa is a popular actor. Whether you first saw him on Game of Thrones or Stargate Atlantis or the tragically underrated 2011 Conan The Barbarian , he’s a distinct actor who tends to play majorly tough characters. And he’s now playing Aquaman in the DC cinematic universe, a portrayal of the classic and often lampooned DC superhero that’s likely to bring more weight to and respect for the character. We’ll first see him in action as Aquaman in the upcoming Justice League film, but he’s also getting a standalone Aquaman film. All of that is pretty exciting. Unfortunately, a combination of fame and the internet means that Jason Momoa’s entire history is basically an open book for anyone to pick through. With the Weinstein scandal and various actresses coming forward to talk about the sexual harassment and sexual assaults that they’ve endured from powerful men in the industry, more than just Harvey Weinstein have been named. In fact, Jason Momoa’s costar, Ben Affleck — who will reprise his role as Batman in Justice League (which will hopefully be light years better than Dawn of Justice was, ugh) — has been accused of groping a woman at the Golden Globes . In fact, multiple sexual harassment videos of Ben Affleck have surfaced since Rose McGowan accused him of having been aware of Harvey Weinstein’s predatory behavior. On Thursday, Twitter was talking about Jason Momoa. To be clear, this was not a case of anyone accusing Jason Momoa of sexual assault or sexual harassment. This is about a comment that he made while speaking to fans about his career. The comment was one that Jason Momoa made at a convention in 2011: “As far as sci-fi and fantasy, I love that genre because there are so many things you can do, like rip someone’s tongue out of their throat and get away with it.” And that’s part of why we love watching that genre. It’s a good comment. If only he’d stopped there. Instead, Jason Momoa continued with what was clearly a joke but which was unacceptable nonetheless. “And rape beautiful women.” YIKES. Now, for backstory, we should mention that his character in the infamously rapey Game of Thrones is Khal Drogo, who rapes Daenerys Targaryen on their wedding night. It appears that Momoa was trying to use humor as a vehicle to refer to the prevalence of sexual assault in Game of Thrones and to compliment his costar, Emilia Clarke, at the same time. But … yeah, that comment is not even a little bit okay. Late Thursday night (which would have been Friday, Down Under), Jason Momoa took to Instagram to issue an apology. “I awoke in Australia to the justified reaction by many people to a distasteful joke I made years ago in Hall H for which I am sorry.” That’s a good start. “I am still severely disappointed in myself at the insensitivity of my remarks that day. I know my sincerest apology now won’t take away those hurtful words.” That’s still a really good apology. When do the excuses come into play? “Rape and sexual harassment can reach anyone and I have seen first hand its painful torment among my own family and friends.” That’s sadly all too true, and it’s good that he acknowledges that. “I made a truly tasteless comment. It is unacceptable and I sincerely apologize with a heavy heart for the words I said.” Jason Momoa didn’t try to provide context or apologize or complain about how unfair it all was. He owned what he did and apologized and made it clear that jokes like that are unacceptable. But since he didn’t say anything along these lines, we will. Jason Momoa bent over backwards to make sure that Emilia Clarke would feel comfortable during the filming of their very uncomfortable sexual assault scene. In order to inject some behind-the-scenes levity, Jason Momoa turned the sock that he wore over his genitals (that’s how networks like HBO film their nude scenes, by the way) into a sock puppet with eyes and everything. This is a man who cares about women and their feelings, and he understands the seriousness of sexual assault and even how traumatic stages scenes of fictional sexual assault can be for actors involved. We’re glad that he apologized and his joke in 2011 was unacceptable, but … we have to point out that it’s more than a little shady that someone decided to dig that up in 2017. There are, after all, actual sexual predators and rape apologists out there.

Game of Thrones Season 7 Finale Photos: Where’s Daenerys?!

We've known for quite some time that the final two seasons of Game of Thrones would be truncated affairs, but still, we can't help feeling that the show's seventh season finale is upon us far too soon. Fewer episodes has meant a faster pace, which – though fun in some cases – has resulted in some pretty glaring inconsistencies in others. (Based on travel times, Westeros is now apparently the size of Providence, Rhode Island.) Fortunately, the show is in a position to deliver its most explosive season finale to date, which should help placate fans who are feeling slighted. Check out the first photos from “The Wolf and the Dragon” below, and watch Game of Thrones online at TV Fanatic to get caught up in time for Sunday night's installment. 1. Tyrion and Jon Look Concerned Tyrion Lannister and Jon Snow look worried. Maybe, like everyone else, they’re wondering why the hell the Khaleesi isn’t in any of this week’s promotional photos. 2. Sansa Looks Pissed Which has pretty much been her default state all season. Living with a sister who might want you dead can have that effect. 3. Littlefinger Looks Smug He’s probably the reason Sansa looks so pissed. The man has many talents, and irritating the hell out of everyone is certainly one of them. 4. Bran Sees Things We’re kind of surprised Team Stark has put Bran to better use this season. Seems like an all-knowing oracle would be a good thing to have around. 5. Cersei Is Pregnant And yes, she’ll continue to use that fact to her strategic advantage. She didn’t get to a spot on the Iron Throne by being soft. 6. Theon is Somehow Still Alive If you can call that living. Anyone else involuntarily shudder whenever this poor bastard’s onscreen? View Slideshow

Game of Thrones Finale Promo: The Gang is All… Where?!?

On  Game of Thrones Season 7 Episode 6 , Dany finally learned the truth… the very hard way: The White Walkers are real. The Night's King is very real. And, yes, it is possible to kill a dragon. How will these revelations impact this Sunday's Game of Thrones Season 7 finale? It appears as though Jon Snow and his friends will go through with their non-sensical plan to convince Cersei of these same truths by presenting her with their kidnapped Walker. In the following trailer, Cersei and Jamie Lannister receive Tyrion, Jon Snow, Gendry, Theon Greyjoy, Jorah Mormont, Davos Seaworth and Brienne of Tarth in the ruins of Dragonpit in King's Landing. We don't see Dany at this meeting, however. “There's only one war that matters and it is here,” Jon Snow warns Cersei, who previously hinted she could see a benefit from a short-term alliance with those seeking her Throne. To what end, we do not know. There's also a shot of Sansa in the preview, as we're likely to get a conclusion on the finale to her annoying feud with Aria. Elsewhere: neither The Hound nor The Mountain appear in the teaser, but fans are speculating that the finale will result in the long-awaited Cleganebowl, a rumored fatal clash between the two hulking siblings. Weeks ago, in the the second trailer for Season 7, viewers saw The Hound draw his sword in the same Dragonpit seen below. So there's one more development to potentially look forward to. Check out the promo now and ask yourself the obvious question: Who will die on the finale?

Game of Thrones Season 7 Premiere Photos: Winter Is Here!

It's been a longer wait than usual, but Game of Thrones Season 7 is finally upon us! Based on rumors from the set and speculation from obsessive super-fans we know a little bit about what GoT Season 7 has in store , but now that the show's off-book there's really no saying what might happen as the fates of the final claimants to the Iron Throne begin to collide. Check out the first photos from the show's long-awaited season premiere in the gallery below, and don'f forget, you can always watch Game of Thrones online at TV Fanatic to get caught up. But hurry. Winter in July is almost here, and the spoilers will surely be flying like Dany's dragons. 1. The Khaleesi In Westeros Daenerys Targaryen is finally in the West, and it seems she has her sights set on big things. Literally. It looks like she’s looking at a dragon here. 2. Brienne and Podrick In Battle We’re sure they’re just training. Still, these two going toe-to-toe should make for an interesting scene. 3. Dolorous Edd and Company The men of the Night’s Watch seem perplexed. Which is saying something, because it takes a lot to perplex them. 4. Meera Reed … At The Wall? Bran’s pal Meera appears to have arrived at the Wall. Which means Bran has probably arrived at the Wall. Which means huge developments are afoot. 5. Daenerys in Dragonstone The Khaleesi has returned home. To be honest, Essos looked to have a much more hospitable climate, but what do we know? 6. A Giant Map in King’s Landing Elsewhere in King’s Landing, some dude is making a giant map. Why? What’s the significance? We don’t know! View Slideshow

Game of Thrones Season 7: First Episode Titles Released!

Well, we might be a bit behind schedule due to the difficulty of finding suitably wintry filming locations on our increasingly balmy globe, but it’s finally time for our annual round of Let’s Speculate About Plot Points Based on Vague Game of Thrones Episode Titles ! In the past, the game was a bit easier, due to the fact that you could pick up one of the George R.R. Martin books that the series is based on figure out where things are headed. If you had no interest in reading the books, you could just find a dude who owns a decorative sword or an iguana named Drogon and ask him what happens next. These days, however, we’re well beyond the point where Martin’s last book left off, and it’s anyone’s guess as to where the Battle for the Iron Throne will lead from here. Earlier today, HBO dropped three big clues in our lap, and they’re a lot like Danerys’ dragon eggs from Season 1:  Loaded with potential, but frustratingly mysterious. Fortunately, we’re here to help you puzzle them out. Here are the episodes and what we can glean based on their somewhat vague titles: Dragonstone (Sunday, July 16, 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT): As fans of the books (and those who paid very close attention to the dialogue from the show) might already know, Dragonstone is the name of the Targaryen’s homeland in Westeros. Considering that’s where Dany and her fleet of ships were setting sail for in the Game of Thrones Season 6 finale , you can expect that that’s where much of the episode will take place. You can also expect that the newly-crowned Queen Cersei won’t be happy to hear that yet another claimant to the Iron Throne has arrived in the West. According to the official description from HBO: “Jon (Kit Harington) organizes the defense of the North. Cersei (Lena Headey) tries to even the odds. Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) comes home.” Yeah, not a whole lot of help there. Stormborn (Sunday, July 23, 9:00-10:00 p.m.): Yes, it sounds like we’re in for two Khaleesi-heavy episodes in a row! Any who dare complain will be promptly roasted (on Twitter, not by dragons). Stormborn, of course, is one of Daenerys’ many names along with Mother of Dragons, Breaker of Chains, Inspirer of Impure Thoughts in Virginal Fan Boys. The episdode’s description reads: “Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) receives an unexpected visitor. Jon (Kit Harington) faces a revolt. Tyrion (Peter Dinklage) plans the conquest of Westeros.” We know from a previously released photo that this is also the episode in which Jon Snow leaves Winterfell, so don’t be surprised if these two fan favorites finally join forces. And Tyrion will be there, too! The Queen’s Justice (Sunday, July 30 9:00-10:00 p.m.): And this being Game of Thrones , we shouldn’t be surprised that it sounds as though that happy moment will be followed by misery for all. “Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) holds court. Cersei (Lena Headey) returns a gift. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) learns from his mistakes.” “The King’s Justice” is a phrase used to refer to the royal executioner in King’s Landing. Since Cersei is sitting atop the Iron Throne these days, we’re guessing heads will roll in this episode. The description from HBO reads: “Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) holds court. Cersei (Lena Headey) returns a gift. Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) learns from his mistakes.” View Slideshow: Game of Thrones Season 7 Photos Are Here! So there you have it, couple that with what we already know about Season 7, and you start to get an idea of the show’s penultimate season. Not surprisingly, it’s dark, but it sounds like it’ll be peppered with some fan-pleasing moments, as well. Game of Thrones Season 7 Spoilers: Who Dies? What’s Jon Snow’s Real Name?

It feels we’ve waited a dozen Long Nights for the Game of Thrones Season 7 premiere , but the summer is finally upon us, children! Yes, we’re exactly one month away from one of the most highly-anticipated episodes of television since that Happy Days  where Fonzie demonstrated to the world that water-skiing in a leather jacket is not only possible, but a good and cool thing to do. Hopefully there won’t be any shark jumping this time around, but if creators D.B Weiss and David Benioff decide to bring Ramsay Bolton back just to have him devoured by beasts again, we’d be cool with that. Okay, you’ve sat through the long-winded throat-clearing sesh worthy of GRRM himself, now it’s time for what you really came for: Yes, we’re talking spoilers, so don’t read any further and then complain in the comments if you don’t want to know what’s in store. We’re sending up more red flags than a Lannister army here, so you’ll have no one to blame except yourself. Here goes: As in years past, the show’s creators have done their damnedest to keep major developments under wraps, and for the most part, they’ve done an impeccable job. But this is 2017, and online GoT obsessives are like Lord Varys, but with much, much greater interest in porn. As a result, the little birds have come home to roost, and it looks like we now have several pieces of potentially game-changing information about the upcoming season: The leaks started back in November, when a Reddit user posted what he claimed was the entire plot of Game of Thrones Season 7 . Obviously, we have no way of knowing if his information is accurate, but the two new details that emerged this week are a little easier to fact-check: First, bad news for people who like bad dudes: Word on the web is that Littlefinger’s nefarious deeds finally catch up with him, and he gets iced in Season 7. Not exactly a stunner, of course, as with all the double-crossing he’s gotten away with, Lord Baelysh has been a marked man for quite some time now. The most convincing evidence for the theory that Littlefinger is headed for the big brothel in the sky comes from a recent cover of Entertainment Weekly , which shows Arya Stark rocking what appears to be Baelish’s Valyrian steel dagger. It seems unlikely that he would simply hand it over without a fight, so in all likelihood, either ruthless killing machine Arya takes him out, or someone else does and gives her the blade as a gift. Either way, RIP, Lord Baelish. You certainly kept things insteresting. This week’s other major spoiler concerns the Boy Who Lived (after he died) King in the North Jon Snow: In the Game of Thrones Season 6 finale , some of our longstanding questions about Jon’s past and parentage were answered. Now, according to a leaked page from an upcoming issue of Empire magazine, we’re soon to learn a lot more about The Man Who Knows Nothing. The page reads: “As we saw in the last episode of season 6, Bran’s psychic time-traveling ‘green sight’ revealed the true nature of Jon’s birth heritage and his real name: Jaehaerys Targaryen. ‘Bran’s now in this precarious situation in which it’s just him and Meera, and he has all of this information that could change the entire story,” said [Bran actor] Isaac Hempstead Wright. And it’s not just about Jon. ‘He knows all about the White Walkers too.’ Jarhaerys Targaryen I, known as “the Old King,” sat atop the Iron Throne longer than any other Targaryen momarch. He’s remembered in Westeros as a wise and just king who butted heads with the dangerous Faith Militant (the High Sparrow’s be-robed douche bags). Lyanna Stark naming her son after one of the most revered figures in Targaryen history would support the fan theory that she was in love her supposed kidnapper (and Jon’s father) Rhaegar Targaryen. View Slideshow: Game of Thrones Season 7: How Many Episodes Are Left? What’s Jon Snow’s Real Name? And Other Questions All of this, of course, would have huge implications with regard to where the story is headed from here. So there you have it.  Two of this season’s biggest surprises effectively ruined. As always, you can watch Game of Thrones online at TV Fanatic, to try and puzzle out more spoilers, so as to suck the remaining fun of watching the story as it unfolds.
