He put all of his resources behind making sure Meek Mill was released from prison last year and now he hopes to help 21 Savage . On Sunday night, the New England Patriots ground and pounded their way to a 13-3 victory over the LA Rams in what’s being called the most boring Super Bowl in history. (And it’s not even snooze-worthy Maroon 5 halftime show that earned the game that dubious distinction.) As far as we know, lifelong Pats fan Ben Affleck was not in attendance at the game, but it’s not entirely clear why Beantown Bennie decided to sit this one out. Perhaps like the rest of the world, Ben realized that a Pats victory was basically a foregone conclusion. And since Affleck is newly sober, he might not have felt like getting doused in Sam Adams by a bunch of celebratory Massholes. Of course, the fact that he’s kicked the sauce isn’t the only major change in Affleck’s life in recent months. According to E! News, Ben is back together with SNL producer Lindsay Shookus ! As you may recall, Ben and Lindsay began dating back in 2017. The relationship got so serious so fast that there were rumors Ben and Lindsay were engaged . A source tells E! that Ben and Lindsay have been on and off for longer than anyone realizes (So maybe there was some truth to those rumors that he started dating Lindsay while he was still married to Jennifer Garner !), and they’ve never been able to quit one another for very long. “They’ve known each other for years and there have been other periods of time where they didn’t speak. But they always seem to end up talking again.” Ben and Lindsay broke up last year, allegedly because his drinking had once again spiraled out of control. Now, however, it seems they’re right back where they started … well, sort of. The insider claims that while Ben and Lindsay are “spending time together” (which almost certainly means hooking up), but they’re not ready to make their relationship official again just yet. It seems Affleck feels that things are going well for him for the first time in quite some time, and he doesn’t want to rock the boat with any major announcements. “Ben is in a really good place right now. Both health-wise and with his family,” another source tells E! News. “Ben has been concentrating on being a doting father and has been spending time with his kids and Jen.” Affleck is so focused on his recovery and his family that he’s reportedly stepped away from his role as Batman in the DC cinematic universe. So perhaps Ben’s new focus on stability explains why he decided to steer clear of Atlanta during Super Bowl week. Nicki Minaj just released a brand new music video and according to her fans, she’s definitely TRASHING fellow rapper, Drake. The video for her Queen track ‘Hard White’ dropped today on February 1 and naturally, her fans aren’t wasting any time to decode and dissect every possible savage moment. At one point in the visual, a scorpion appears and then dies as it fractures into a ton of tiny pieces. Scorpion was the name of Drake’s full-length album in 2018 and of course, fans are connecting the imagery as a hidden nod to the artist. The Barbies took to Twitter to express their feelings about the so-called diss, according to Hollywood Life. Nicki Minaj – Hard White “Just killed another career, it’s a mild day. #hardwhite #endeddrake” a fan tweeted after watching the video. Another fan said, “Did Nicki really say f**k Drake like that like that?” While some fans had no sympathy saying “finish him.” Fans also thought her song ‘Barbie Dreams’ was a diss at Drake when she rapped “Drake worth a hundred milli, always buying me shit/but I don’t know if the p***y wet though or if he crying and s**t” Minaj clarified saying “with ‘Barbie Dreams’, you guys do know that is not a diss, right? You do know people I said on ‘Barbie Dreams’… I said things about people who I know can take a joke and who I know can’t be emotional with it.” So, maybe killing the scorpion symbol is just a harsh joke, or maybe it has no connection at all. OR maybe the Barbz are actually on to something here. Minaj also seems to throw some shade at the Grammys. “I’m the trophy of the game, everybody tryna win me,” she raps as she holds a gramophone. According to E! Queen missed the eligibility period, so Minaj will not be considered at this year’s ceremony. Despite the Grammy snub, the album did go platinum earlier this month. But anyway, back to more ‘important’ news: Whether you think Nicki is making a dig at Drake or just thought a scorpion was a cool idea you should still check out the video. Source: NBC / Getty Kenan Recalls His Super Bowl Experience With Kel Mitchell With the Super Bowl coming up, it’s fresh in everyone’s mind just how coveted ad expensive everything surrounding the big game is. From high-priced tickets to crazy Airbnb rates in Atlanta, people fly from all over the country just to witness the biggest game of the season–but back in their Nickelodeon days, Kenan Thompson and his partner-in-comedy Kel Mitchell weren’t so impressed. Kenan stopped by The Tonight Show this week and told an absolutely hilarious story about him and Kel receiving free Super Bowl tickets from their employer at the time, Nickelodeon. Spoiler alert: they don’t end up making it to the game, because they’ve got some other priorities.
With Jonathan Bennett and Ryan Lochte out of the house, it was obvious who the next target was going to be: Joey Lawrence. In a rare turn of events, there’s a good chance that the first three evicted houseguests are all male, and it’s going to change the dynamic up quite a bit. Joey’s association with Ryan, Jonathan, and Dinah left him in a precarious position, and with a new HOH about to be crowned, it meant there was a chance he could keep himself safe. In the immediate aftermath of Ryan’s eviction, Lolo couldn’t help but turn on the waterworks. She may not have won gold in the Olympics, but she could sure as hell win a gold trophy for her acting. Lolo flipped the bird at Ryan just days into the game, so it’s utterly laughable that she thinks people are buying the whole “we were buddies” schtick. Joey wasted no time in starting up a new alliance consisting of himself, Dinah, Kandi, and Tamar. He pitched it, but not very well, and Tamar was not ready to jump ship. Her statement on the matter was actually pretty darn hilarious. “You wanna have an alliance with you, me, Kandi (who don’t like to do nothing physical) and Dina? Against the bootleg superhero? No, that’s not finna work, we’re gonna lose!” Joey could have at least threw in a Melissa and Joey boxset to sweeten the deal, but the brains are most definitely lost on him. Natalie and Lolo realized that now was the time to win the HOH. The pair has been picking and choosing which competitions to try winning because they thought they were in a good spot. However, Ricky showed up to let them know that Joey wanted to target them, and it made the women realize that Joey needed to go next. The HOH competition found the houseguests competing to make their way through a haunted house to find a set of car keys in the fastest time. “I don’t do haunted houses, I don’t do no Halloween honey, I don’t do clowns, I don’t do snakes, I don’t do caterpillars, I don’t do birds, I don’t do none of that stuff that’s going to scare me, no, none of that,” said Tamar. Tamar followed that up by walking out of the house after screaming too many times. Yup, she threw in the towel at the competition. After Tom won the HOH competition, Kandi wanted to know where his head was it, so she quizzed him about alliances he was in. He tried to turn the tables on her, and the conversation fizzled out. Tom, Kato, and Ricky later strategized and settled on Tamar and Kandi as the nominations, with Ryan being the backdoor target. However, Tom was now sketched out by Ricky and wondered just how long they would be able to trust him. Before the nominations ceremony, the Power of the Publicist was unleashed on the house, giving one houseguest the power to keep themselves safe at one of the next two nominations or veto ceremonies. While Big Brother only confirmed it would get the houseguest out of a “sticky” situation, the victor was Tamar, and she learned all about it. Ubisoft revealed the release date for the beta as well as a new trailer for The Division 2 about two weeks ago. Today (Jan. 30), we learn precisely what we will get hands-on with when the private preview of the game goes live. Those who pre-ordered the game or registered to participate will get to experience a relatively sizeable amount of the game including endgame content surprisingly. Private beta preload begins Feb 6 at 1am PT and when it officially starts Feb 7 at 1am PT players will be able to explore a”transformed” Washington D.C. after establishing a base in the White House. Agents can unlock skills, weapons and upgrade to a level cap of seven while venturing into the post-disease ravaged settings you will also experience: Two main missions, available in Story, Normal and Hard Mode Five side missions and additional activities in the open world Unique PvPvE gameplay in one of the three new Dark Zones Organized PvP gameplay in one Conflict mode, Skirmish As mentioned above we will also be getting our first glimpse of the new endgame content as well which will feature one Invaded Mission and three endgame specializations. And now, t he Oscar-nominated film will be returning to theaters for Black History Month with the added benefit of spreading news of a $1.5 million grant program from the United Negro College Fund. EW.com reports : One day after Black Panther won the top film prize at the SAG Awards, Disney announced that the Marvel blockbuster will be returning to theaters for one week. Black Panther will screen at select AMC Theatres locations between Feb. 1 and 7 — and in celebration of Black History Month, tickets will be free. In addition to the free screenings, Disney revealed that it will give a $1.5 million grant to the United Negro College Fund, which provides scholarships to help minority students attend college. “Black Panther is groundbreaking for many reasons, including the rich diversity of voices behind its success,” Disney CEO Bob Iger said in a statement. “The story also showcases the power of knowledge to change the world for the better, and the importance of ensuring everyone has access to it. We’re proud to provide thousands of free screenings of Black Panther in hopes it will continue to inspire audiences, and to support UNCF with a $1.5 million grant to make the dream of higher education a reality for more students.” How dope is that?
