Dear Bossip: We Met Online & I Went To Visit Him, But I Left My Coat & He Won’t Answer My Calls

Dear Bossip , Ok, so where do I begin? Here it goes! Maybe 4 months ago, I met a gentleman online. We exchanged numbers and gained a really close bond. Talking on the phone 2 to 3 times a day; morning, noon and night. We built a great relationship, for at least I thought. Mind you, he lived in Illinois and I reside in Virginia. So, he suggested I fly up to finally meet. I purchased my own airline ticket by the way, because he stated; that was all the spending I had to do, and he was correct. I arrived to Illinois, he picked me up from the airport; and again, mind you, this was our very first time meeting in person. So, I really liked what I saw. He was “such” a Gentleman, and YES, he took very good care of me; I did not spend a DIME; stayed for 4 nights. AWESOME! He introduced me to several of his friends; either they came by or we drove to their homes, which I thought was very sweet. Anyway, to make a long story short, the day of my departure, he asked if I mind if we stop at his brother’s home before going to the airport. Well, of course, I had no problem. His brother, wife and kids were all very nice and hospitable. So, when it was time to head to the airport, and after getting halfway there, I realized, I left my coat at his brother’s home. Don’t ask? Don’t know how I left a “coat” while visiting Illinois, but I did and we did not have enough time to turn around. Ok, so, I get back home safely to Virginia and I call my friend to let him know; I’m home Babe. We spoke briefly because I was a little tired from the trip, so I suggested we speak the next day. This is where things get really WEIRD! The next day I call him and I get his voice-mail, and this occurred quite frequently. To the point where I’m becoming questionable. Previously, this is a man that called all the time and never missed any of my calls. But, NOW, he has no conversation, at all! Ok, I’m confused like HELL! I finally sat still and focused on him, and just the entire event, and came to the conclusion that, here is this 45-year old man who needed his friends and family to OK me! Terrance, am I right or wrong? I’m hurt and I feel very, mislead by someone  that I really, really, thought I knew and liked very much so!  I’ve emailed and have only called twice in a respectful manner. Terrance, I’m just trying to get my coat, for real! The second time I called I couldn’t leave a message because his voice-mail is full. WHAT DO I DO? I’ve accepted and respected his wishes of not wanting to communicate with me further; I get it, I GUESS. But now, I feel as though he’s playing with me and my feelings by totally ignoring me all together. Now, I have his brother’s number and DO NOT want to call him, but seriously, should I? I’m thinking maybe his brother can talk him into at least sending me a YES, via email, pertaining to my Coat. Is this crazy or what? I need some answers. – MAD & MISSING MY COAT! Dear Ms. Mad & Missing My Coat , Uhm, no this is not crazy. YOU ARE! The hell is wrong with your ass! You keep calling this man, and he hasn’t returned any of your calls, and now his voice mail is full. WHAT DO YOU THIINK THAT MEAN? Ole slow ass special needs woman. I swear whatever you drank at that man’s house, or swallowed from him, has truly got you going bat –ish crazy. Keep that madness over there. We don’t need for it to become an outbreak and other women become infected. Wait, (ponders for a minute), damn, it’s too late. Other women have been infected. RUN! HIDE YOUR KIDS! HIDE YOURSELVES! LMBAO! Now, ma’am, do you really want the coat, or are you using the coat as a way to displace your anger because he hasn’t returned any of your calls after you spent these four wonderful days in Chicago with him and met his family and friends? And, since you stated he showed you a good time and TOOK CARE OF YOU, are you upset that you let him lay up in you, and now you feel like a high-priced hooker? I knows what “Took Care Of You” really mean. (Hmmmm, inquiring minds want to know) And, chile, cheese! I swear you women meeting these men on the internet, who live in other states, and you think it’s love because he calls you two and three times a day, answers your call when you phone, and sends you lovey-dovey text messages of how much he can’t wait to see you and make you his woman. The ole okey-doke doesn’t get old, and it certainly doesn’t matter who the culprit and players are. All of you are just pieces in the game and still can’t get the rules right. SMDH! Simpleton is not your forte. Perhaps it’s your expertise. I’m curious as to what type of relationship did you think you were going to create with a man you met on the internet, and he lives in Illinois and you live in Virginia? Were you in your head, because that’s what you delirious women do, planning this wonderful relationship of bliss and if you or he was going to move and be together? I seriously and highly doubt that was going to happen. And, let’s get something very clear right now. Your dumbass bought an airline ticket to go see this man, and it was your first visit. Uhm, sweetie, if this man was so interested in you, and so gung-ho about you visiting, then he should have anteed up half of the ticket. Yeah, yeah, he took care of everything while you were there, but you did stay at his home, correct? Hmmm, pulls out my bull-ish calculator and begins to add things up. Now, according to the bull-ish calculator staying at his home didn’t cost him anything. Did he take you out to eat, and where? Or did he cook at home? (Does some adding and subtracting, and now divide the bull-ish that he fed you. Okay, eating at fast food restaurants, because I know he didn’t take you to any 5 or 4 star restaurants, adds up to basically nothing.) So, I want to know what did he come out of pocket for? The gas that he used when he picked you up from the airport and dropped you off? The gas he used to take you to meet his friends, and keep in mind that you went by the brother’s house on your way to the airport. According to my bull-ish calculator only “Johns” use gas to pick up “Tricks.” Chile, you people really need to invest in a bull-ish calculator. It breaks everything down for you. Especially all you basic women who do basic ass –ish. On the real, I get the feeling that dude is not feeling you, and after the four days of using you as his sex whore, ooops, I’m sorry, I meant his proposed love interest, LOL, that he really is not into you. The fact that you keep calling and you get no response, uhm, let me buy you a damn clue. THE MAN DOES NOT WANT TO BE BOTHERED. HE’S GOTTEN WHAT HE WANTS FROM YOU. HE IS A PLAYER, AND YOU GOT PLAYED. STOP BEING A TRICK AND LEARN THE RULES OF THE GAME SO IT WON’T HAPPEN AGAIN. And, if you have his brother’s number, and if you’re sooooooo interested in getting your coat, then why haven’t you called him? What the hell are you waiting for? But, again, it’s not about the coat. It’s the fact that your feelings are hurt. You’re bothered by the fact that you spent money to go see a man, and let him bang you out, and you don’t understand why a man whom told you all the things that you wanted to hear would do something like this to you. Girl, wake up and stop acting naïve and childish. You knew what you were going to Illinois for. Hell, all of the people he took you to meet knew what you were in Illinois for. Ladies, ladies, ladies, please stop meeting these men on the internet and letting them fill your head up with all these wonderful ideas of a happy ever after. It’s all lies and bull-ish. They are only telling you what you want to hear. They are only getting you hot and bothered so they can blow your backs out. THAT IS THE PLAN! ALWAYS! So, chuck up the deuces and count it as a lesson learned. Move on, and if you really want your damn coat call the brother and have him ship it to you, or offer to have it shipped to you at your costs. The end. – Terrance Dean Hey Bossip Fam, what do you think? Share your opinions and thoughts below! A$AP Rocky Keeps It ‘Trill’ As Hottest Breakthrough MC Contender

Drake hit the road with the ‘Purple Swag’ MC, but it took more than a co-sign to land him on MTV News’ 2011 list — vote now! By Rebecca Thomas A$AP Rocky Photo: Getty Images/ MTV News Is Harlem catching wreck still? A$AP Rocky thinks so. And now the 23-year-old MC and his lean-loving, Always Strive And Prosper crew are angling for the baton that was carved and chiseled by Uptown captains the Diplomats. Truth be told, Dipset boss Jim Jones did as much for the rap relay when he briefly ceded the stage to the upstart and his team at the Dips’ October reunion in New York. But while Rocky reps for the 1-2-5, his outlook is as much NY as it is TX. His chopped-and-screwed flow propelled this summer’s Deep Purple mixtape, a woozy piece of work that had the temerity to ride the Verve’s indie staple on “New York Bittersweet Symphony.” Of course, that tape also gave us the inescapable “Purple Swag” and helped A$AP Rocky earn a shot at MTV News’ 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MC title. “It came so natural, the Southern flow,” the rapper said of his penchant for blurring borders, on Shade 45 . Midwest ’90s rap outfit Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Houston heroes like UGK are clear influences. “I just made my own lane.” His haze-inducing, Mixtape Daily Award-winning project, Live.Love.A$AP follows in the Houston-by-way-of-Harlem vein, as the “pretty” MC with the fat plaits gets a major assist from beatsmith Clams Casino on tracks like the rock-hard “Palace.” (Schoolboy Q and A$AP associates Twelvy and Ferg also drop memorable features) But don’t let the syrup fool you, A$AP (born name: Rakim Mayers) is very much a product of his Harlem ‘hood, and he pays tribute in his “Peso” video: bodega windows papered with lottery scratch-off tickets, malt liquor bottles at a dice game and rolling MTA buses all make for a familiar backdrop. Next up for Rocky is a compilation LP, Long.Live.A$AP, due spring 2012, and work on his solo album for RCA/ Polo Grounds, where the rap rookie was drafted for a cool $3 million. Oh, did we forget to mention that Drake recruited him and fellow Hottest Breakthrough nominee Kendrick Lamar for his Club Paradise Tour? “I’m trying to earn the right to call myself A$AP Drizzy one day,” the YMCMB spitter joked in backstage footage. How trill is that? Hottest Breakthrough MCs was established in 2010 by MTV News as a fan-driven initiative that spotlights, celebrates and cultivates new talent. ‘Breaking Bad’ Finale ‘Shocked’ Giancarlo Esposito

His Gus Fring is part of MTV News’ Top 10 TV Characters of 2011. By Kevin P. Sullivan Giancarlo Esposito as Gustavo ‘Gus’ Fring on “Breaking Bad” Photo: Ursula Coyote/ AMC “Breaking Bad” found itself in a unique position at the beginning of its fourth season. Critics and fans alike had heralded it as “the best show on television” for years, and heading into the most recent season, creator Vince Gilligan and the team behind the show had the seemingly impossible challenge of topping the three previous years of nail-biting episodes. So what did they decide to do? They made the main character, Bryan Cranston’s Walter White, into a weakling. His nemesis, the mild-mannered but perpetually dangerous Gustavo Fring, played by Giancarlo Esposito, beat him at every turn. The action slowed to the point where some fans declared it boring, but that was all part of the game. In the slow-down, we learned more about the characters, in particular Esposito’s Gus Fring, who had emerged after two menacingly quiet years on the show as a fan favorite. Each seemingly docile moment added up to what may go down as one of the greatest slow burns in the history of television. It all led to the most-talked-about moment in television this year — SPOILER ALERT! Gus Fring’s explosive death. MTV News spoke with Esposito about his character, why Gus caught on with fans like he did and filming the infamous “Face Off” scenes. MTV : Giancarlo, I think some congratulations are in order. You made it into the top 10 of MTV News’ Top 50 Television Characters of 2011 . Giancarlo Esposito : Oh, awesome! Really awesome. See our Top 50 TV Characters of 2011, 50 to 41, including a masked bachelor and dashing novelist/crime-fighter. MTV : What did you like about Gus as a character? Esposito : I had loved what I was reading in season four when the writing started to come down for each episode, and I realized I had the opportunity to do a couple different things. One was to play an extremely villainous character, but also to layer him with a lot of grace and kindness and make him a likable bad guy, in a way. The way I created Gus and the way I started to read it was I was very impressed he was someone who would work in his own restaurant and serve his own customers from the very beginning. I thought if I could play him with this very caring, sensitive attitude that it would go a long way. So I was a bit surprised when people got more wrapped around who Gus really was and started to like him, even though he had such deeply evil aspects to him. See our Top 50 TV Characters of 2011, 40 to 31, including a “hootie hoo!”-hollering chef and funnyman talk-show host. MTV : Did you see him becoming such a highly regarded character? Esposito : No, no I did not. I was just going about doing my work, and I had no expectations other than enjoying what I was doing in trying to create a full and measured character that I could enjoy and I would imagine the writers would love. I had no idea the audience would get so wrapped around what I was doing as an actor and what Gus was portraying as a character. Check out our Top 50 TV Characters of 2011, 30-21, including a depressed meth cook and a football coach with a heart of gold. MTV : What was your favorite part about playing him? Esposito : I think my favorite part was the idea that you could have a man hiding in plain sight, that here is the man who is not afraid to be gracious and kind and have a great amount of courage avoiding being found out. I think the smart part of Gus really appealed to me. I think it’s been a long time since we’ve seen a character so well put together and so intelligent and so graceful, and he pulls it off. For me that was my favorite part of the character. I also loved that he had such great dominance over Walt, that he was an adviser, that he was trying to get Walt to do what he wanted to do, but he also wanted Walt to become a better person. I love that fact as well. He wasn’t just someone who was a bully. He was someone who was saying, “Your life will be better. You should provide for your family. This is what a man does. He provides.” In a way, Gus was a partner to Walt in many aspects of his life, not only economically through the business, but also advising him on how to live his life. I think that has to be the favorite parts for me. MTV : What was your initial reaction to reading the “Face Off” scene? Esposito : I knew we were going to kill Gus in that way, so I was a bit prepared for the possibility that it would be quite brutal and quite gruesome. What I loved about it was that it was a much more intimate moment than I had ever expected. Vince and I had talked, and he had asked me what Gus might be doing if this explosion happened. I said, “You probably observed me and what I do. I make sure my buttons are buttoned when I get up from a seated position and walk out of a room. I check my tie to make sure I’m completely put together and acceptable when I’m leaving space into another space,” and [Gilligan] chose to make the move the tie, and I was really honored by that, because it is something that I do. I was shocked because the way it was done was so absolutely perfect. You really don’t know. You’re held in suspense until the camera comes around and I turn a little bit and you realize, “Oh my gosh. He’s not going to make it through this. He really has lost half of his face.” To me, that was the most shocking moment, in the way that it was done, in the way that suspense was held at bay and in the intimate moment. It was a very intimate moment personally that [Gilligan] captured. I believe it was the right way to go. I was absolutely shocked! All I could think of was, “Can I render this believable?” Check out our Top 50 TV Characters, 20-11, featuring a sword-wielding 9-year-old and a Trouble Tones teen. MTV : What was it like watching the finished scene? Esposito : I was shocked. I was pleased that it came out so well, but always when I die a character death, part of that character death is a personal death as well. I was overwhelmed. I don’t often watch myself die on television, but in this case, it was important for me to see what the team put together. I watched it once, and I couldn’t watch it again, because it was so disturbing. MTV : What did the effects involve for you? Esposito : I got my head cast. That took about an hour to get all the stuff lined up in terms of how to create the mask on my torso. It took about two, two-and-a-half, three-hour makeup to get all that on me. After that, we had to also position dots to be able to add whatever we needed later on, so it was a quite extensive process. Not just a mask out of a store for Halloween. That was my only hesitation about the way all this happened in the end, that it might look cheesy. I didn’t want it to look like a Freddy movie. It had to be something where your mouth would drop and you would look at it and say “Oh my God. That is so real,” and that’s something we’ve never seen on television before. Don’t miss our Top 10 Characters of 2011, including a “Jersey Shore” guidette and a real daughter of New Jersey. MTV : What do you think of the choice to end Gus’ story there with so many questions still unanswered about his background? Esposito : I think it was really difficult for all involved to not have found out more about Gus. I know that the season really called for this showdown, that the town wasn’t big enough for Walt and Gus. For me, it was a little disappointing not to be able to get to some of what I had hoped they would get to, which was his background. In a way I was disappointed. In another way, Vince kept focus. The show is about Walt and what happens to him. Obviously, season four allowed Gus to excel and to see his story. It also gives me pause because there is an opportunity now to go back and find what about Gus that we didn’t know moved him to be as powerful as he is, as gracious as he is, and how did those building blocks come about in his character? I think we still have the opportunity to go back and find that out. MTV : Will that be in flashbacks or just other characters looking into his background? Esposito : I don’t know, but I know that it is an option for us to know. Flashbacks are an option, but I think there are a few other options which I haven’t thought of or, as time goes by, that are a possibility. I wouldn’t count Gus out. I’d also be very interested in seeing what this team does with this end of Gus and move toward the end of Walter’s character arc. I think Gus will be a part of that. MTV will reveal the best artists, songs and movies of the year. Come to MTV News each day to see more big reveals and check out more of MTV’s Best of 2011 music, TV, movies and news coverage. French Montana Vies For Spotlight With Hottest Breakthrough MC Nod

Courted by the likes of Kanye West, Rick Ross and Jay-Z before joining Diddy, Montana earns a spot on MTV News’ 2011 list — vote now! By Steven Roberts French Montana Photo: Getty Images/ MTV News From the very moment the horns from the Lords of the Underground’s 1993 classic “Funky Child” sound until the moment that “Shorty got potential, I could be her sponsor” is heard, it was evident that French Montana had a hit on his hands with “Shot Caller.” Montana’s rise to prominence wasn’t that instantaneous, however. French Montana has been making noise on New York City’s underground rap scene since the early 2000s with his “Cocaine City” DVD series. Montana hoped the street series — showcasing interviews with big-name artists like T.I. and then unknowns like Nicki Minaj and Waka Flocka — would help broaden his fanbase in the same way other up-and-comers hoped their mixtapes did. He started gaining a lot of momentum later on in the decade, especially when he and Max B teamed up to drop the Coke Wave mixtape series. That momentum slowed when the Biggaveli was incarcerated, but Montana never stopped working. Fast-forward a couple of years and he found himself in the middle of speculation concerning whether he would sign with Kanye West, Diddy, Rick Ross or Jay-Z — two of the Bronx MC’s suitors, Rick Ross and Diddy, even hopped on the remix of “Shot Caller.” Wherever Montana landed, it was clear he wanted to be the main attraction. “I rather be LeBron in Cleveland than LeBron in Heat, so you read between the lines,” French said. “Wherever I go, I’d rather be the star than have to sit there. I worked this hard to get here so when I step in, I have to be the main focus.” On Thursday, French ended the speculation when he hit BET’s “106 & Park,” making a splashy appearance with his new label boss: Diddy. With rappers assembling crews like a game of dodgeball during PE, Montana promises to be a star as he puts his John Hancock — insert obligatory “pause” — on a Bad Boy contract. And with the already streets flooded with mixtape material and a joint LP with Waka on the way, there’s no question that the work ethic is there. Freddie Gibbs Is Tough Candidate For Hottest Breakthrough MC

Gangsta Gibbs’ mixtapes earned him a deal with Young Jeezy and a spot on MTV News’ 2011 Hottest Breakthrough list — vote now! By Nadeska Alexis Freddie Gibbs Photo: Getty Images/ MTV News When Freddie Gibbs joined Sway on “RapFix Live” in September, the Gary, Indiana, native was firm in insisting that he would never stray from the deeply lyrical gangster rap that fans now expect from him. His recent deal with Young Jeezy ‘s CTE label bolstered his efforts and kept the spotlight on his releases this year, earning him a nomination for MTV News’ Hottest Breakthrough MC of 2011 . Despite a fizzled deal with Interscope Records in 2007, Gibbs (born Frederick Tipton) continued his rise to lyrical prominence by dropping popular mixtapes, including 2009’s The Miseducation of Freddie Gibbs and Midwestgangstaboxframecadillacmuzik . The success of those two mixtapes landed him a spot on XXL ‘s 2010 Freshman cover, but that was only the beginning for Gangsta Gibbs. The 29-year-old rapper continued his manic music run, releasing the independent EP Str8 Killa No Filla via Decon Records in 2010, and in April he made his biggest career move thus far, inking a new deal with Young Jeezy’s CTE (Corporate Thugz Entertainment). Besides teaming up with the Snowman on singles like “Run DMC” and “Do It for You,” Gibbs put in some extra time in the lab, turning out his mixtape Cold Day in Hell in October. The project showcased his growth, with standout cuts including “Anything to Survive” and “Menace II Society” and a slew of guest features from Freeway, Jeezy, Juicy J and 2 Chainz. Major label or not, don’t expect Gibbs to soften the content of his material anytime soon. “I wanna be taboo. I want your parents to not want my music in your iPod,” Gibbs told MTV News. “I want your mom to be scared of what I’m talking about because it’s so real.” His fellow contenders for Hottest Breakthrough MC should probably be scared too. Next up is Khalifa’s ninth solo mixtape, Taylor Allderdice, named after his Pittsburgh high school. In preparation for the tape, the TGOD captain has already released a smoked-out video for “Dessert,” his take on Wale’s “Bait.” Big Sean’s FFOE (Finally Famous Over Everything) Snagging a #1 rap hit this year hasn’t curbed Big Sean’s hunger. Before he drops his sophomore LP in 2012, the G.O.O.D. Music spitter will release FFOE. “I feel like a lot of people who get to put albums out either forget about the mixtape circuit or disregard it. But I know that’s what got me here, the mixtapes,” Sean recently told “RapFix Live.” “I was able to sell out shows doing mixtapes, so I don’t take that lightly. I’m working on the new mixtape, putting real time into it.” Big K.R.I.T.’s 4Eva & a Day With his previous mixtapes — K.R.I.T. Wuz Here, 2011 Mixtape Daily favorite ReturnOf4Eva — K.R.I.T. has set a standard that focuses on high-quality production and album-style attention to detail. Now, the Mississippi upstart can boast one of the game’s most anticipated major-label debuts with his upcoming Live From the Underground. But before that, K.R.I.T. will drop 4Eva & a Day as a free online download. “Based off the experience of touring in the past year, I’m creating this free album from scratch as we speak,” he told Pitchfork . “I have locked myself back in the studio — 4Eva & a Day coming soon on bigkrit.com.” For other artists featured in Mixtape Daily, check out Mixtape Daily Headlines . Kendrick Lamar Kicks Off Hottest Breakthrough MCs!

Cali MC got a boost from Drake and Dr. Dre, but he didn’t rely on co-signs to make MTV News’ 2011 Hottest Breakthrough list — vote now! By Rob Markman Kendrick Lamar Photo: Getty Images/ MTV News The year started off with a bang for Kendrick Lamar . After appearing on the cover of XXL ‘s Freshmen issue and in MTV News’ New West coverage , the Compton, California, MC proceeded to show and prove. Now, K. Dot is a 2011 MTV News Hottest Breakthrough MC candidate. He may have received a co-sign from Dr. Dre, but Kendrick didn’t use the Doc’s glowing endorsement as a crutch. Instead, he hit the studio and in July released Section.80, a tightly woven independent album on which he examined his place in the world. Songs like the J. Cole-produced “HiiiPower,” the soulful “Kush & Corinthians” and the socially enlightening “Ronald Reagan Era” proved that not only is Kendrick one of the most exciting newcomers, he also has substance to rival most veterans. Not just message-heavy, Section.80 also displayed Lamar’s ability to spit raw rhymes on “Rigamortus” and “The Spiteful Chant.” Kendrick — who made his name releasing free music online — for the first time set a price point with Section.80 and sold it on iTunes. It was another mark of his growth. “It was something that I had to understand, that my company had to make me understand. I’m putting out this free music, constantly putting it out,” Lamar told MTV News back in July of his old way of thinking. “My whole thing is bringing music back to where people actually buy it, but at the same time, you know what? I don’t think I’m ready yet to start selling my project, because I feel the world don’t know me yet.” This year, thanks to his hustle, drive and, of course, overall talent, Kendrick is in contention. Aside from his solo material, the nimble-tongued MC has been working with Dre on Detox and landed key appearances on Game’s The R.E.D. Album, TechN9ne’s All 6’s and 7’s and his own solo track “Buried Alive” on Drake’s Take Care. In fact, Drizzy has taken such a liking to Kendrick that he has booked the budding MC to open for him during his Club Paradise Tour in 2012. Hottest Breakthrough MCs was established in 2010 by MTV News as a fan-driven initiative that spotlights, celebrates and cultivates new talent. MTV News chose a pool of young rappers and urged fans to vote for their favorite. When it was all said and done, Wiz Khalifa emerged as the Hottest Breakthrough of last year. The competition was tough, but the Taylor Gang General beat out runner-up Nicki Minaj, ATL group Travis Porter, Diggy Simmons and J. Cole. This year, you can vote for Kendrick (or your favorite up-and-comer) over at RapFix.MTV.com , and be sure to check back for daily updates and poll results. Each day, we’ll spotlight a new Hottest Breakthrough MC before we conclude December 13 when the polls close at 11:59 p.m. ET. The 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MC will be revealed during December 14’s “RapFix Live,” during which the winner will appear as our in-studio guest. There will also be a special announcement about MTV News’ upcoming Hottest MCs in the Game list and debate. To be considered a Hottest Breakthrough MC, an artist cannot have released a major-label full-length album. Finalists from 2010’s Hottest Breakthrough MCs poll will not be eligible for 2011 consideration, so unfortunately, Diggy Simmons and Travis Porter won’t be part of this conversation. Who do you think should be 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MC? Share your picks in the comments! Stick with MTV News as we profile the 2011 Hottest Breakthrough MCs before announcing the winner December 13 on “RapFix Live” — vote now! Wiz Khalifa, Juicy J Deal Is ‘Official’

‘He’s gonna be here forever and I’m gonna be here forever,’ Wiz tells MTV News of Juicy J signing. By Rob Markman Wiz Khalifa Photo: MTV News Wiz Khalifa has always been a fan of Three 6 Mafia, and what’s not to love? With a rowdy rap catalog that includes the hits “Tear da Club Up,” “Sippin’ on Some Syrup” and “Stay Fly,” Three 6 has grown to become one of hip-hop’s most iconic groups. And the Pittsburgh hitmaker will be working with the Mafia’s Juicy J closely now that he has signed him to his Taylor Gang label. “Yeah that’s official, that’s good to go,” Khalifa confirmed with MTV News on Wednesday night before he took the stage with Snoop Dogg at Terminal 5 in New York. Juice, who just released his latest mixtape, Blue Dream & Lean, on November 29, revealed the signing during an interview with Hood Rich Radio. “Juicy J is now with Taylor Gang, we goin’ in this year, man. 2012, we goin’ in,” he said. Longtime Taylor Gang artist Chevy Woods is looking forward to adding the rapper/producer to the crew. “It’s fun for me, because I really just sit back and watch,” he told MTV News. “[Wiz is] always doin’ somethin’ different.” For Wiz, this is an opportunity to link up with an artist that he has looked up to for a long time. “Well, I’ve always been a huge fan of Juicy J and Three 6 Mafia and what they brought to the game,” he said. “As far as their music, as far as their consistency, as far as just if you’re in that mood and you know what you wanna hear, they brought it and I respected that. And they brought it for years, since I was young.” “I remember when ‘Tear da Club Up’ first came out and I remember when ‘Stay Fly’ came out, and those are two huge songs from the same group of people who never fell off or lost it at all. And I really look up to that and respect that.” Turns out, according to Khalifa, Juice was a fan of Wiz as well. “It was like, ‘Man we might as well bridge the gap and takeover,’ because he’s gonna be here forever and I’m gonna be here forever.” What do you think of Juicy J joining Taylor Gang?
