Official ‘Hollywood Tonight’ remix coming to Miami Music Week. By Akshay Bhansali Chuckie Photo: Jason Ano/ One and Only Productions Leaving the South by Southwest festival, Lavo New York and Las Vegas’ Marquee in his wake, house DJ Chuckie has his sights set on the week ahead. With Miami Music Week now upon us, Chuckie plans to seize the opportunity to debut new material. Fans will be tickled to know the Dutch producer has tracks in the can with Kelly Rowland and T-Pain, but when MTV News caught up with him Friday in New York, Chuckie shared the achievement of which he’s most proud. “I did a Michael Jackson remix, which was really scary — to touch Michael Jackson vocals,” Chuckie said. “I did this remix for this track ‘Hollywood Tonight.’ I couldn’t say it for a minute: The label called me, and they said, ‘You can’t say nothing about this. It’s kind of a secret project.’ It’s gonna come out anytime now.” “Hollywood Tonight” was originally produced by Teddy Riley for Jackson’s posthumous Michael album , and Chuckie’s mix of the song will be the sole official remix of the track. “I will play it Miami,” Chuckie revealed. “I told them this is the best week to launch the remix. So it feels really good. I’m the only one remixing that Michael Jackson track, and they are considering it a single. For me, especially, it’s an honor to remix the King of Pop because he died on my birthday.” So, will the mix be a thundering Chuckie Dutch house banger or will it have a melodic progressive house feel, like his Marquee remix of Diddy-Dirty Money’s “I Hate That You Love Me”? Well, according to the “Let the Bass Kick” producer, fans will be getting a healthy dose of both. “I had to bring in the raucous,” Chuckie confessed. “Yeah, I did the Chuckie flavor, but then again, I wanted to make it really musical, so I went progressive (house) on it.” Chuckie will be performing twice at Miami Music Week: at the Cr2 Records Party at Wall Lounge on Wednesday, and then headlining “No Sugar Added” at Nikki Beach on Friday. ‘Sucker Punch’ star also opens up about declining ‘Twilight’ audition. By Terri Schwartz Emily Browning Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images The role might have recently gone to Jennifer Lawrence , but there was a point in time when “Sucker Punch” star Emily Browning might have played District 12 champion Katniss Everdeen in the upcoming Lionsgate adaptation of “The Hunger Games.” “I read for [‘Hunger Games’] a couple of times, but I’ve never read the book, to be honest — which I know is terrible of me,” Browning said in an interview with the Playlist . “I was nervous about it.” Despite the fact Browning started out her acting career as one of the leads in an adaptation of a popular children’s series, it was that experience that turned her off from moving on to starring in the young-adult genre. She admitted that there was a period of time between when she filmed 2004’s “Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events” and when she agreed to come onboard Friday’s “Sucker Punch” that she seriously considered quitting acting altogether. It was during that time that she found out “Twilight” author Stephenie Meyer said she would be the perfect Bella Swan for the upcoming adaptation of the novel, but Browning wasn’t ready to commit to a franchise. “I was just exhausted, and I was like, ‘I’m sorry, but I just can’t sign onto a trilogy right now,’ ” Browning told MTV News in 2009, after she finished “The Uninvited.” “To be honest, if I had gone on to do the film straight after ‘The Uninvited,’ I would not have been a good Bella . and I’m hoping people realize that now.” But it was the fact that she was vilified for reportedly turning down the “Twilight” role that caused Browning to remain so hush-hush about trying out for “Hunger Games.” “It’s always hard for me to talk about these kinds of things, because I know there was a big deal with ‘Twilight’ and my involvement with people wanting me to do ‘Twilight,’ so I’m always like, ‘Oh, people love this book so much, I don’t want to get involved, I don’t want to talk about it!’ ” Browning explained. “I read for [‘Hunger Games’] a couple of times, but I think every single girl in Hollywood read for it a couple of times, to be honest.” Would you have liked to see Emily Browning play Katniss Everdeen or Bella Swan? Justin Bieber may have recently turned 17 years-old and is on the brink of becoming a man but last night he proved he is just on big kid at heart. The singing sensation has taken his tour to London and while the capital has plenty to keep a tourist entertained Justin seemed eager to visit a toy store and seemed to thoroughly enjoy trying out the games on show. Justin, who has caused Bieber fever to sweep the nation, drawing crowds wherever he goes across the nation enjoyed a Indian meal with Jaden and Willow Smith before heading to a the famous Hamleys tour store. The teenager ate at La Porte Des Indes restaurant with the Smiths, including with Jada Pinkett before indulging his childish side at the toy store. Justin and the Smith children seemed in awe of the goods on offer at the Regent street store and it wasn’t long before the 17-year-old found himself in the teddy department, perhaps picked out a cuddly toy for his girlfriend Selena Gomez. Willow and a friend scoured the shelves looking at different goods while Justin was given a guided tour by an enthusiastic helper dressed in a Little Bo Peep costume. Just a couple of big kids: Jaden and Willow , who joined Bieber at dinner before heading to the toy shop also seemed excited about visiting the store As ever the Smith children were looking quirky and cool, with Jaden in a pair of jeans, leather ,suede and camouflage coat and a cap. Willow opted for a pair of cut-off denim shorts pink and red print tighs and a leather jacket with a headscarf wrapped around her head. And the group didn’t leave empty handed and Justin showed his childish side leaving the shop with a giant toy gun which he fired at photographers waiting outside. Amazing toys: Although she has been performing to hundreds of thousands of fans Willow still got excited over a toy she liked the look of Earlier in the day Justin had visited Madame Tussauds in London to unveil his waxwork – but fans were left stunned by the model which bore little resemblance to their pop star. The singer, who has over eight million followers on Twitter, has been causing chaos since arriving in the U.K. with an army of fans stalking his every move leading. When he was in London the singer was warned he could have been arrested for ‘inciting a riot’ if he left his hotel because of the volume of fans who had gathered outside.
