Royal Congratulations continue to pour forth for the Royal Couple who are all set to welcome another Royal Baby. Early on Monday, Kate Middleton and Prince William confirmed the news that so many Royal Followers had been hoping to hear for weeks: They are, indeed, expecting their first child . The announcement was made by Kensington Palace itself, which said the following in an official statement to the world: Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019. Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public. We don’t know exact due date or the gender, but Markle is reportedly “feeling well” and has successfully completed her 12-week wellness exam. This really is so very exciting. And we’re not the only ones who feel this say. The Palace has also stated that Kate Middleton and Prince William are “delighted” by Markle’s pregnancy, although no further details related to their reaction have been revealed just yet. (Perhaps because Middleton must now figure out a way to announce she is also pregnant and due on the same day? ) Elsewhere, Meghan’s mom is pretty psyched about the development. “Ms. Ragland is very happy about this lovely news. She looks forward to welcoming her first grandchild,” the Palace said today on her behalf. Neither Markle’s controversial father nor her totally awful half-sister has said a word about Meghan’s miraculous state. Sadly, though, it’s probably only a matter of time. We need not wait to hear from other key members of the United Kingdom society, though. Prime Minister Theresa May said in a statement: “My warmest congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the happy news they are expecting a baby in the Spring. Wishing them all the best.” And this is from Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, who married the couple in St. George’s Chapel in May: “Congratulations to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on their happy news! Prayers for them in the months ahead.” Harry and Meghan are currently in Sydney, Australia, where they have kicked off the first day of their 16-day tour, which will also see them travel to New Zealand, Tonga and Fiji. Sounds like fun! At some point, Markle will need to scale back on some Royal Duties due to her pregnancy, but that time has not yet arrived.
