Part of the negative reaction is undoubtedly due to the bad taste that Kanye has left in the mouths of many who used to be fans of him and his music, the other part is simply that NASIR doesn’t live up to the standards of quality that an artist like Nas has set for himself over a long and successful career. In an interview she revealed that it took her eight years to pen this book and each step she took to create this family she has now. On co-parenting, Mashonda said, “When you have children, and they have questions, and you can feel their energy shifting, based on the energy you’re giving them. If you’re a parent, you know you have to make the change…I was like it’s time. I didn’t want him to grow up feeling the way I felt. Also, he was recently in the hospital for OD’ing on Hot Cheetos. The rapper took to IG to update his fans about his tour and his trip to the ER. “I went to the hospital today,” he said in a clip posted yesterday (Sept. 24). “You know, getting ready to pack for this tour. i just want to let everybody know I was in the hospital — not due to any drugs — but I guess I ate too many Hot Cheetos and I guess it ripped something in my stomach open, so I puked a little blood.” What? The news comes after numerous websites erroneously believed that the long-awaited album would be dropping last Friday, though no one from Young Money or Wayne himself confirmed the news. So Friday morning at 12:01 AM, expect plenty of Wayneheads to be shedding tears of joy. It’s the first release of his that won’t have the Cash Money imprint on it as he and Birdman settled their years long court feud. Wayne believed he was owed millions in unpaid royalties from the label, one he had called home since he was a teenager. Tha Carter V was originally announced in 2014 but has been delayed and stuck in perpetual limbo ever since. According to TMZ , Ferrari has been blowing Chyna’s phone UP all week long after the Rob Kardashian nude photo scandal that broke the internet. The harassment has gotten so bad that Chyna is actually in fear for her saftey because of how delusional and obsessive Ferrari has become. She also believes that he has released more revenge porn despite the threatening letter her lawyer sent him. Chyna is set to host a party tonight at Medusa Lounge in Ferrari’s hometown of Atlanta and she is wielding her petty powers to demand that he not be allowed on the premises. She’s even hired 4 new security guards to ensure her safety. It is reported that the club will honor her request and deny Ferrari entry if he tries to pull up. Outside of some d**k and a new stalker, it doesn’t sound like Chyna got much out of dealing with this guy. SMH.
WENN Swizz Beats Challenges Timbaland To A Beat Showdown At A Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor press conference in Brooklyn on Friday, the highly anticipated fight wasn’t the only showdown in talks. Swizz Beatz took the stage at said event, where he called out fellow producer Timbaland for talking ish, and then challenged him to a battle of the beats. This isn’t Swizz’s first time around by any means. 10 years ago, the Bronx native battled Kanye West on stage at Summer Jam. Much more recently, Beatz and Just Blaze took on one another in an epic, star-studded Instagram Live battle. After Blaze and Swizz’s showdown, there were rumors swirling of a Timbaland v Pharell matchup to come, but it seems we’re gonna see Timbo take on Swizz first. Timbaland happily accepted the challenge, and the battle of the beats is on. There’s no official date set for this event, but it’s sure to be one for the books.
