I think I really need to get this Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Culo coffee table book, not only does it have hot Nicole Sherzinger and Irina Shayk booty, but it’s got George Clooney’s girlfriend baring it all. Obviously it’s pretty damn annoying that it’s filled with all these paint smudges, but I guess I’ll have to take what I can get. That’s a gold nugget I’d like to polish.
The roster of actors in the world who could reduce megastar George Clooney to rubble with a single withering look is short, but add newcomer Shailene Woodley to the top of the list. As Alex, the acerbic 17-year-old daughter of Clooney’s Hawaiian landowner and family man in Alexander Payne’s The Descendants , Woodley (of ABC Family’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager ) makes an auspicious film debut that could land her in the Oscar race — not that Woodley, perhaps the most well-adjusted young star on the rise in Hollywood, would take awards razzle-dazzle too seriously.
Things seem to be going pretty well so far for Stacy Keibler and George Clooney, lucky bastard. Not that I really care, as long as things are going well, she keeps getting invited to premieres of his movies and I keep getting pictures of her with her breasts falling out of her dress. Here she is dropping an awesome amount of cleavage at the premiere of The Descendants . Amazing! The side shots are just heavenly. On Wednesday (November 16), People named the movie star 2011’s Sexiest Man Alive . Beating out the likes of Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, George Clooney and Liam Hemsworth, the 36-year-old actor tells the magazine he’s a bit surprised by the recognition over his good looks. “I think it’s really cool that a guy who doesn’t look like a model can have this [title],” he said. “I think I’m a decent-looking guy. Sometimes I can look great, and other times, I look horrifying.” He added, “I’m waiting for Dax Shepard to come out, and that it’s an episode of ‘Punk’d.’ ” This year has been kind to the actor, who starred in blockbusters like “The Hangover Part II” and “Limitless.” Though he is currently single, Cooper has been linked to some of Hollywood’s A-list ladies including Renee Zellweger and, most recently, Jennifer Lopez. Of his bachelor status, he said, “If you’re a single man and you happen to be in this business, you’re deemed a player. But I don’t see myself as a ladies’ man.” These days, the woman who might be most excited to learn about his status is the one and only Mrs. Cooper. “First thing I thought was, ‘My mother is going to be so happy,’ ” the actor shared. Cooper’s not the only mama’s boy on the list. Evans also opened up about his mom in the issue, saying, “We’re incredibly tight. Mom can hang — she’s on the level.” And, humility certainly seems to be a trait shared by many of the hotties on this year’s list. “Community” star Joel McHale had this to say about making the list: “I made it because there were a lot of people who were out of town.” Do you agree with People ? Will “The One That Got Away” be Katy Perry’s sixth straight #1 hit? She hopes so, and thinks today’s video release date might be good luck. On Ellen DeGeneres’ show this morning, Katy noted that if you took six #1’s and lined them up, you’d get 11/11/11 . We totally didn’t think of that earlier. She sure does love dressing up in elaborate costumes. Switching gears, she says she wants to start “poppin’ kids left and right” before long. “As long as it doesn’t hurt the first time. I’ll keep popping them out,” Katy claims. So basically, she and Russell are only gonna have one kid, but it’ll be cute!
George Clooney is an Oscar winner, a philanthropist and a bachelor with a new beautiful woman on his arm almost every year. Yet the actor tells the latest issue of Rolling Stone that life wasn’t always so perfect. Far from it, in fact. Referring to a spinal injury he suffered on the set of Syriana in 2005, Clooney said he was bedridden and “at a point where I thought, ‘I can’t exist like this. I can’t actually live.” Clooney added that the severe headaches and spinal fluid leaks through his nose were the most painful experiences he’s ever had. “I was lying in a hospital bed with an IV in my arm, unable to move, having these headaches where it feels like you’re having a stroke, and for a shirt three-week period, I started to think, ‘I may have to do something drastic about this’…but I never thought I’d get there. See, I was in a place where I was trying to figure out how to survive.” Fortunately, of course, the star did just that. He said drank heavily at the time, but surgery eventually helped with the spinal difficulties. He still suffers from bad headaches.
George Clooney isn’t the only one who has moved on. Elisabetta Canalis, who split with the Oscar winner this summer, was spotted arm-in-arm with Mehcad Brooks in Italy today. He’s the well-sculpted specimen who appeared on True Blood as Eggs and currently stars on USA’s Necessary Roughness . Canalis recently opened up abut her relationship with Clooney. She said he was more of a father figure than a boyfriend… which is just a tad creepy.

Dr. Conrad Murray will no longer be taking the stand to testify in his own defense in the involuntary manslaughter trial stemming from Michael Jackson’s 2009 death. This marks a reversal of his original plan to testify . Murray told his lawyers from day one that he wants to testify and tell his side of the story, but his lead attorney, Ed Chernoff, believes it’s not worth the risk. His reasoning is simple: Murray wouldn’t be able to withstand a tough cross examination that the DA would subject him to, and would hurt his own cause . “Clients always want to testify, but in this case, the D.A. would wear him down, and Murray just wouldn’t be able to overcome the basic facts,” says a source. To name a few: ” not calling 911 right away , failure to tell ER doctors and EMTs that he gave Jackson Propofol, not having the proper monitoring equipment.” The defense’s final witness, Dr. Paul White, testified Friday that Michael Jackson killed himself with a lethal injection by mistake with Murray out of the room. That long shot theory is probably Murray’s only hope of a not guilty verdict, but Deputy D.A. David Walgren still has a chance to cross examine him today. Moreover, after the defense formally rests their case, prosecutors – who have made a very strong case thus far – can call additional rebuttal witnesses. The trial resumes this morning in Los Angeles.
Elisabetta Canalis may have dated George Clooney for years, but the 33-year old model has come out and denied reports that she was pressuring the actor into having kids or getting married. After all, Canalis says, “between us there was more of a father-daughter relationship.” The former Dancing with the Stars contestant makes this strange comparison in Bruno Vespa’s new book “Questo Amore” (“This Love”), saying there’s no bad blood at all between her and the Oscar winner, 50. She considers Clooney “the person who valued my feminine side the most” and “also one of the best people I have met from a charitable point of view,” adding creepily again: “He has been a special for me, and very important, just as a father would be.” “George and I never spoke of marriage nor of having kids,” Elisabetta says. “I don’t put limits to the possibility of having them, but neither George nor I had ever envisaged having kids together. The end of the relationship was not caused by a marriage issue, but instead by our personal needs.” Clooney and Canalis broke up this summer.
