Daniel Radcliffe: Engaged to Erin Darke?!

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe is engaged to longtime girlfriend Erin Darke, Star magazine reports. “They’re trying to keep it low key,” says a source close to the couple. “But they’re both bursting with excitement. It’s the happiest we’ve seen him in years!” Happier than when he was chosen as Seeker for the Gryffindor quidditch team?! We don’t think so, source . The insider also claims Radcliffe has selected his Potter co-star Rupert Grint as his best man for a ceremony that will reportedly be held on the banks of Lake Michigan. Radcliffe broke up with Rosie Coker just a few months before meeting Erin.  The relationship between Radcliffe and Darke  was made official in early 2013, and despite hailing from different countries (Erin is American), the two have reportedly been inseparable ever since. Erin is an actress who’s appeared in such films as Young Adult and Noah . She and Daniel met on the set of the film Kill Your Darlings , in which Radcliffe played legendary beat poet Allen Ginsberg. If the report is true we’d like to offer our heartiest congratulations to Daniel and Erin. We couldn’t be more excited if we had front row seats at the Tri-Wizard Tournament! Nick Clooney: Thrilled Over Son’s Engagement to Amal Alamuddin!

We are yet to hear from either betrothed party, but another person close to George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin have confirmed the couple’s engagement: The actor’s father! A day after  Alamuddin’s law firm released a statement that congratulated these two on their decision to marry, the Oscar winner’s dad told Us Weekly that he’s “thrilled” for his son and future daughter-in-law. Amal Alamuddin, George Clooney Engaged: Who Is She? “We have had an opportunity to interact with this wonderful young woman and these are two great people,” Nick Clooney says . “We hope for them the best.” And George Clooney’s mom feels the same way. Nina Clooney told Great Britian’s The Daily Mail on Monday that she was “extremely happy” about her child’s engagement, adding of George’s fiancee: “Amal’s a lovely girl. I like her very much.” This will mark Clooney’s second marriage, though he had said on multiple occasions after his 1993 divorce from Talia Balsam that he would never walk down the aisle again. But Alamuddin, a 36-year old British attorney who is respected for her human rights battles, clearly won the actor over with her charm, intelligence and beauty. We wish these two the best! Jennifer Lawrence was out on the town being her awesome self last night when she encountered some overly-aggressive paparazzi and responded in awesome fashion. Not only did J-Law flip the bird to the nasty paps, she may have also made the coolest engagement announcement in recent memory. That’s Jen giving the one-digit salute in London and revealing a heart-shaped turquoise ring on her commitment finger. We’ve heard rumors that Jennifer and Nicholas Hoult are engaged before and even though Jen’s rock is certainly not a diamond, the ring has been taken as confirmation that she’s soon to be hitched. After all, a modern non-traditional girl like Jen would likely favor a unique engagement ring and celebs avoiding diamonds for socially-conscious seems to be all the rage these days. The long-time bachelor popped the question this week to  Amal Alamuddin , a British lawyer he’s been seeing since the fall. Aside from expressing consternation of Clooney actually choosing to marry again, most celebrity gossip followers are now asking one simple question: Who Amal Alamuddin?!? Here are seven facts about the future Mrs. George Clooney: Alamuddin is an attorney (known as a “barrister” in Great Britain) who specializes in international law, human rights, extradition and criminal law. Last year, she nabbed the top spot on London’s Hottest Barrister list. She is trilingual. Alamuddin speaks English, French and Arabic. (She may wanna add Italian to that list, considering the many trips she’ll be making to Clooney’s mansion in Lake Como.) She also has been appointed to many U.N. commissions and is an advisor to former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan on Syria. She represented WikiLeaks’ founder Julian Assange in his extradition proceedings with Sweden. She is a graduate of New York University School of Law. She was born in Lebanon.  So… there you have it. Amal Alamuddin: Engaged to George Clooney?!?

Has the world’s most eligible bachelor finally been locked down? There’s chatter around the Internet that George Clooney is engaged to Amal Alamuddin. He allegedly popped life’s biggest question while on vacation with the British lawyer in Cabo San Lucas. The news has not been confirmed by either party, but an onlooker at Craig’s restaurant in West Hollywood tells Us Weekly the couple was “toasting the engagement” on the night of April 23. “This is the healthiest relationship I’ve ever seen George in,” a source recently told the tabloid. “He seems incredibly happy, and Amal is such a sweet and intelligent girl, who has her own thoughts and ideas and doesn’t just bow down to everything he says.” Clooney and Alamuddin were first spotted out together in October in London. They also took a trip to South Africa in March and were photographed there on the beach. Clooney was married to actress Talia Balsam in 1989 before divorcing in 1993. He has since been involved in a NUMBER of high-profile, gorgeous relationships with the likes of Elisabetta Canalis and Stacy Keibler. But he’s never been interested in settling down for good. “I was married, so I gave it a shot,” Clooney told Piers Morgan in 2011, adding that the divorce should have “proven how good I was at it.” But, hey, all it takes is one woman to change one’s mind.

Via Essence: A couple weeks ago, you announced plans to quit your reality show. What led you to that decision? Tia Mowry: What a lot of people don’t know is that it was almost 50/50. The Style Network turned into Esquire. That left my sister and I with the question, should we continue the show? It was talked about for a while. Could we pitch the show to other networks? That was when my sister and I decided to draw the line and say ‘We’re done!’ We did three amazing years. Having a camera in your home 12 months out of the year for eight hours or 12 hours a day is a lot of work. But we’re moving on to other things. Tamera Mowry: I came to a point where I thought the universe was giving my sister and I the chance to say if we wanted to move on or not. I had time to really reflect. I thought; I had cameras when I was engaged, I had cameras when I was pregnant and then I had cameras around when I had my son. I just wanted personal private time with my family. I think that you should have balance in your life. That was something that I particularly needed. I wanted to protect that side of my life. I didn’t want [my son] on camera all the time. At least they left on their terms. They had a good run.

Like Selena Gomez for i-D , the former WWE Diva and current host of Supermarket Superstar is nearly unrecognizable on the cover of this magazine, posing in a low-cut top with a wild up-do and dark lips/eyes. “This was my absolute favorite shoot to date,” Keibler tells People “It was so fun to try different and more dramatic looks. Marina Lopez Abducts Child From Foster Care, Amber Alert Issued

Marina Lopez, a Queens mom believed to be bipolar, snatched her seven-month-old child during a visit in an NYC foster-care agency Tuesday. An Amber Alert was issued after she somehow managed to walk out of the agency on 7th Ave. near W. 125th St. in Harlem with little Mario Danner. An NYPD update Wednesday morning said that the suspect may be driving a tan 1995 Lexis ES300 with the New York license plate #GEX1377. Lopez lost custody of Mario more than three months ago after she was caught brawling in front of the baby, sources close to the case confirm. Administration for Children’s Services officials said they are working with police to find Lopez, who is described as 5’7″ and 130 lbs., with brown hair. She was last seen wearing a pink t-shirt and floral shorts. Mario is described as 20 inches tall and 25 lbs., wearing a gray t-shirt and black shorts. Anyone with information is asked to call 911 or 866-NYS-AMBER.
