Young Dro Arrested For Drug Possession Young Dro is back in trouble with the law again — this time for having some sort of controlled substance on his person when encountered by police. It looks like the rapper will be spending the night in jail while he awaits bail . Via TMZ : Rapper Young Dro is spending the night in jail after cops picked him up for a drug offense in Georgia … TMZ has learned. Clayton County Sheriff’s Department says deputies arrested Dro around 3:30 PM Thursday and booked him for violating the controlled substance act. Unclear at this point where the Atlanta MC was, or what he was allegedly holding. We’re told he’ll be in custody at least until Friday morning when he has a bail hearing. We broke the story … Dro also got arrested last summer for grand theft auto after some trickiness with a strip club employee. And for what it’s worth — Dro has a show in Hollywood Thursday night — safe to say he won’t be making that. SMH! Dro has got to figure out how to stay out of trouble… Instagram

The Pips Member William Guest Dies From Congestive Heart Failure Sad news for the soul music community… William Guest, a member of Gladys Knight And The Pips has passed away at age 74. According to AP reports : Guest’s sister-in-law, Dhyana Ziegler, said he died Thursday in Detroit of congestive heart failure. Guest performed throughout the lifespan of the Grammy-winning group from 1953 to 1989. He performed background vocals on hits such as “I Heard It Through the Grapevine” and “Midnight Train to Georgia.” “My heart is broken, but I know his legacy will live on,” said Guest’s daughter, Monique Guest, in a statement. Gladys Knight and the Pips were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 and the Apollo Hall of Fame in 2006. After the group ended, Guest and another member, the late Edward Patten, formed a production company. Guest later served as CEO of Crew Records. He released his autobiography “Midnight Train From Georgia: A Pips Journey” in 2013 with Ziegler. “I am so glad we finished the book, so his wonderful life and legacy will be celebrated throughout eternity,” Ziegler said. “I loved my brother so much.” Our thoughts and prayers go out to Guests loved ones. CNN Security Guard Killed By Police While Talking His Son Down From Hostage Situation In today’s episode of “Cops Kill People” a father was tragically taken from his son under suspicious circumstances… Via RawStory Bobby Daniels was a peace officer by trade – a private security guard employed at CNN’s headquarters in Atlanta. When he learned that his emotionally troubled 25-year-old son Bias had suffered a breakdown and was holding a fellow security guard at gunpoint in a mobile home part in Douglasville, Bobby raced to the scene. Using the skills of persuasion and patient de-escalation upon which a private peace officer must rely, Bobby persuaded his son to relinquish his handgun and place it on the hood of a car. Just seconds later, Daniels was fatally shot – not by his mentally ill son, but by the sheriff’s deputies who had arrived on the scene. In familiar fashion, law enforcement officials insist that the victim of this police shooting – at least the 960th to occur in 2015 – was to blame, and they have provided contradictory accounts as to how it happened. “I think that he could have been trying to help the situation instead of hurting it, but when he pointed the gun at the officers, he was shot,” asserted Douglas County Sheriff Phil Miller in remarks to reports at the scene shortly after the December 21 incident. A different official account provided by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation claims that as Bobby and Bias struggled over control of the gun, deputies attempted to incapacitate the younger man with a taser. It’s amazing how each and every time the police murder kill a civilian there are wildly polarized versions of the events.

Rapper Now Owes the IRS And His Housing Association Maybe it’s time for T.I. to hire a new accountant. The rapper/reality star is in more financial trouble for not paying his bills after the IRS slapped him with two federal tax liens earlier this year for more than $4.5 million dollars in unpaid taxes. Now, the rapper is being accused of refusing to pay bills on his Georgia mansion. On December 16th, the Lost Valley Homeowners Association filed a lien against T.I. over him refusing to pay them them his homeowners fees including unpaid and delinquent assessments and other costs totaling $536.97. The lien has been placed against the rapper’s Jonesboro mansion he purchased back in 2006 for $4.2 million. The five bedroom, seven bathroom 10,460 sq. ft. pad has an elevator, greenhouse, hot tub/spa, intercom, security system and tons of other features. The new financial issue wouldn’t seem like a huge deal if the rapper hadn’t already been hit with two federal tax liens back in August, which accuse him of owing taxes for 2012 & 2013 for a total amount of debt owed coming to $4,570,759.86. The feds explained they have demanded the payment from T.I. but the balance remains due to this date – and they say they will be placing the lien against all property and assets the rapper owns. The IRS doesn’t play around with millions of dollars in unpaid taxes and could begin seizing his assets if he doesn’t pay up on the $4.5 million. Continue reading
SMH… Men Steal $41,000 Worth Of Chicken Wings Remember when we told you about those Georgia warehouse workers who stole $65,000 worth of chicken wings ??? Well not to be outdone, there’s a father/son duo out of New York who pilfered $41,000 worth of bird. Why? To sell on the street and to competitors of course. Syracuse.com reports: Two employees of a Syracuse restaurant are accused of stealing more than $40,000 in chicken wings and selling them to other restaurants and “on the street” for a poultry sum, according to the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s office spokesman Jon Seeber said Paul Rojek, 56, and Joshua Rojek, 33, of Syracuse, billed approximately $41,000 of chicken-wing orders to the Twin Trees Two restaurant’s business account between February and late November. The father-son pair was employed there as cooks, Seeber said. The pair would pick up the orders and re-sell them on the street or to other local establishments for a reduced price. They would later destroy and withhold the sales transactions receipts for those orders, Seeber said. They’re facing charges including grand larceny in the third degree and falsifying business records in the first degree. They appeared in court Nov. 24 where a judge set their bail at $2,500 cash or bond. So is this like black market bird??? Really??? What do YOU think about this father/son stealing wings???
