It seems almost impossible that Divergent could create even more buzz than it already has. That is all about to change as the cast of the film, based on Veronica Roth novel, us set to appear on stage at San Diego’s Comic-Con on July 18. Roth will appear on the panel along with the film’s director, Neil Burger, and quite a few cast members including Shailene Woodley, Theo James, Ansel Elgort, Ben Lamb, Ben Lloyd-Hugher, Christian Madsen, Maggie Q, Mekhi Phifer, and Miles Teller. If you are attending the convention and not necessarily interested in standing in line for the panel, Summit Entertainment will be all about Divergent at their convention floor booth so you can head there and see what all they have to offer. Divergent opens in theaters on March 21st, 2014.
Georgia history books report 458 lynchings there from 1882-1930, making for “a permanent bruise on the Peach State,” a Savannah Morning News op-ed reads. Better make it 459 after the treatment Paula Deen has gone through, her hometown paper says, after the treatment she’s received over the past few weeks. We’re not paraphrasing, that’s their word of choice. The opinion piece states : “Savannah’s celebrity chef has been lynched – figuratively and publicly in the court of public opinion, and without a full and fair accounting of the facts.” Why? Mostly because the 66-year-old master of comfort food recipes and self-made mogul “said ‘no’ to the equivalent of a shakedown.” The editorial uses the lynching metaphor as “a reminder that justice should be dispensed in court, not at the end of a rope” or “by money-grubbing lawyers.” When Deen refused to pay $1.25 million in hush money to a former employee of her brother’s restaurant, the paper says, “the lynch mob began forming.” How bad was the effort to bilk and slander Paula? Savannah attorney S. Wesley Woolf reportedly wrote to Deen’s lawyer, on behalf of Lisa Jackson : “Exposure of the racist and sexist culture of her corporate and personal life is going to permanently, and irreparably, damage the value of the brand,” “If we are unable to settle, the Complaint will not be quietly filed. I am making arrangements for a press conference on the day of the filing.” “I have identified the journalist for the New York Times who covers civil rights matters and he will be provided a pre-filing exclusive.” “A nationwide press release will be issued to the major networks, newspapers, newsmagazines and news websites across the country.” The Times didn’t break the June 19 story about Deen using racial slurs (in the distant past) – the National Enquirer did – but the story spread rapidly. The Morning News notes that Jackson’s goal was “whipping a mob into a frenzy,” and calls it “a lynching for our times,” a term it insists is fitting. None of this absolves Deen from using a racist slur, the paper says, but “there is such as thing as punishment fitting the crime … this doesn’t come close.” “These rope burns were undeserved.” Do you agree? Was Deen the victim of a virtual lynch mob? Or did she deserve what she got? Share your comments with us and vote in our survey below: Should Deen have been fired? Yes, there is no excuse for what she did. No, cut the woman some slack people! No, I just like her food, who cares what she says/does! View Poll »
I have a crush on Georgia May Jagger…and by crush I mean I want to make sweet love to her tenderly… I don’t know much about her, I don’t know if this is her and her K-Fed of a boyfriend, eager for her to spend that trust fun on him, fooling her into thinking he is really in love, because rockstar daughters don’t know what normal relationships look like, and they want nothing more than an average romance, you know to be the opposite of their parents, making them easy targets to suck in… …but not easy enough because otherwise I’d be up on this one…working her from every angle…just to have those Mick Jagger Lips on my dick…no homo…even though that came across pure homo…you get what I’m saying, she’s got big lips dammit.. The only hope I have, is that in her rich, broken, confused, daddy issue existence, this modelling somehow leads to her wanting to be outrageous and more famous, and that wanting the carve her own path in the already open field thanks to who daddy is, leads to a sex tape… But maybe we’ll just have to settle on this school yard kissing, porn to some of you criminals I’m sure…you know cuz school yards is where you get all your freak boners…freak. Here is the Sisley campaign….not that any of your rednecks care….I know…it’s boring…what a slut.
If you weren’t already a fan of Georgia Salpa , who’s a Kim Kardashian lookalike (only hotter, less annoying, and she didn’t just pop out a kid), this awesome photoshoot she did for Zoo should change that. I guess Georgia’s even got her own reality show now because she’s on Big Brother . Anyway, if you think that ice cream photo of hers is hot, just wait until you check out the behind-the-scenes video below. I don’t think I’ve ever been this jealous of a straw before.
Jesus Took The Wheel of the designer baby stroller! Kim and Kanye’s little girl’s birth didn’t come without a bit of drama. Via RadarOnline reports : Kim Kardashian and her baby daughter are both in great shape now but there was drama and tension leading up to the birth, and RadarOnline has all the new details. As we exclusively revealed, Kim cried tears of pain and joy in the delivery room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on June 15 when the baby arrived several weeks early. The events leading up to the birth were scary for the new mom and Baby Daddy Kanye West, who skipped his own listening party at MILK in Los Angeles as Kim rushed to the hospital. Kim had “medical complications” several sources and outlets have confirmed. She previously had an infection that doctors were monitoring closely. Her doctor made the decision the baby needed to be delivered,” one source told People, which added the birth was natural and not by C-section. But the baby weighed less than five pounds and that was also a cause for concern, even amidst the celebration in the delivery room. The baby was placed in an incubator and carefully monitored, according to multiple sources. The infant’s name has not yet been revealed. Kanye was with Kim the entire time and is thrilled. “Yeah he was there [at the hospital]. He’s so cute. He doesn’t leave the room. He’s, like, in love with the baby. It’s so cute,” Larsa Pippen told E!. She also added that Kim is doing great. Kim’s fast recovery is evident as she has had several friends visit already, and her mom Kris Jenner hinted, as Radar reported, that more information about the baby would be revealed on her upcoming talk show. And despite Kanye’s protest to the New York Times that this isn’t “America’s baby,” it looks like everyone else disagrees with him! The baby’s birth has attracted international headlines with speculation rampant about what name her parents have chosen. Reports indicate the little girl is still unnamed! Meanwhile as Kim is making a fast recovery, doctors would like to see the baby’s weight increase and are monitoring her closely. We’re glad everything turned out okay but… we’re guessing it wasn’t so serious as to keep the E! cameras out of the delivery room riiiiiiight? We’re hearing murmurs that Kim and Kanye are naming the baby Kai or Kaidence with Georgia and Donda as middle names (in tribute to her late dad’s middle name George and his late mom’s first name Donda). Do you like those names? Continue reading →

I have been loving Georgia May Jagger for as long as she’s been modelling, and not because she makes any thought of Mick Jagger’s lips being dick sucking lips, less gay, cuz she’s rocking a pair….but because she’s hot, and she’s rich and she probably has a lot of fun. You see unlike rich kids from Finance people, or entrepreneurs who built their empires from the ground up, or old money family business tycoons. she’s rich from rock and roll, and good rock and roll. You know her dad was a middle class dude into black music from Chicago and the American south, who has become a billionaire with his music and had a wild fucking life on the way up, getting a few models, like Georgia May’s mom knocked up along the way, the kind of parent who leads his daughters by example, to get high, have fun, and bang out, cuz there is enough to go around, so keeping busy with this model shit, is just like a pat on the back, celebrating her hotness, that feeds her ego…it’s not for the money…and that in itself is pretty fucking hot….the bikini and pics of her on all fours is just secondary.
The bullying has got to stop! Via NYPost reports : A 12-year-old Queens girl hanged herself in her family home yesterday after being relentlessly cyberbullied by her middle-school classmates, sources told The Post. Gabrielle Molina was found hanging by a belt from a ceiling fan at about 2:15 p.m. on 220th Street in Queens Village, cops said. The troubled tween left behind a heartbreaking note that recounted the torture she endured at the hands of bullies at IS 109. She also apologized to her family and tried to explain the reasons behind her decision. Her devastated mom, Glenda Molina, told police her daughter was depressed over constant online harassment from classmates. “She’s very quiet, very friendly,” said her heartbroken aunt, Irma Molina, who saw her niece’s body. “She wanted to dance and sing. She’s so young. I don’t understand.” The aunt said Gabrielle’s sister, Georgia, 15, broke into a locked bedroom to reach her sibling when she didn’t answer the door. Gabrielle lived with her parents, sister and older brother, Geonel. Her mom works as a nurse’s aide, while her father, George, is employed at a recycling plant. “They’re just a wonderful family,” said a neighbor. “The girls were very sweet. They would always say hello. It’s just so sad. I don’t know how they are going to get by.” Another neighbor said she was shocked that the little girl who frolicked with her sister chose to end her life. Cyberbullying is on the rise across the country. Staten Island teen Amanda Cummings threw herself in front of a bus last year after being incessantly bullied by a clique of cruel classmates at New Dorp HS. Her friends and family said she spiraled into a deep depression because she couldn’t escape the abuse, which focused on everything from her looks to her failures with boyfriends. The National Crime Prevention Council says 43 percent of teens are subject to cyberbullying. Does it seem like there are more teen and tween suicides these days or is it just more reported? Regardless, kids have got to gain more compassion. It’s so sad that these senseless suicides continue to happen Continue reading →
