Ex-NFL player Charles Grant — who appeared on Monday’s episode of the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” — has been arrested for writing bad checks. The charge is a felony because the amount of the check was over $500. This is not his first brush with the law. He was charged with involuntary manslaughter in 2008, following a fight outside a south Georgia nightclub that resulted in the deaths of a pregnant woman and her unborn child after the woman was struck with a stray bullet. Charles’ rumored fiance Marlo Hampton — who also appeared on the show with him last week — was supposed to join the show as an official cast member but that went out the window. These two have something else in common. They both have matching mugshots! Marlo has also been arrested for writing bad checks! ‘Twilight’ enthusiasts’ repeat viewings could keep flick box-office king. It’s time for another installment in our resurrected series of columns dedicated to all things regarding Edward Cullen, Bella Swan, Jacob Black and the rest. Today’s topic: Just how long will “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn- Part 1” reign as box-office king? Knowing the serious dedication the “Twilight” fanbase has to the film franchise, it’s no surprise “Breaking Dawn” dominated the box office during its opening weekend. And even with a slew of highly anticipated films opening this weekend — “The Muppets,” “Hugo” and “Arthur Christmas” among them — the fervor still surrounding “Breaking Dawn” and fans’ commitment to see the film multiple times means that the vampires and werewolves are very likely to hold the #1 spot for a while. “I have seen the movie twice,” Cade Johnson, of Salinas, California, told MTV News via email. “I would like to see it in theaters at least four times, maybe five,” he said. “It is definitely the best out of the four so far, in my opinion.” Yvonne R. Villani of Hiram, Georgia, has also vowed to see the film multiple times and has a strategy in place for how to keep herself immersed in “Twilight” goodness as long as possible: “I’ve seen this movie multiple times and plan on seeing it a few more times because I just really liked it!” she said. “I have been waiting all year and part of last year, since I read the book, for this movie to come out. Whitney Purvis of 16 and Pregnant fame had enough of her baby daddy’s slacker, lazy lifestyle, so she kicked his ass to the curb and peaced out with their child. That’ll send a message alright. Now 18, Whitney “Never Nervous” Purvis was living with her boyfriend and their son in an apartment in Georgia up until a couple of weeks ago. Then she bailed. According to Whitney, Weston Gosa “was gone all the time. He wouldn’t come home until 3 in the morning … I was home with the baby and he was nowhere to be found.” But Whitney doesn’t believe Weston was cheating. She says: “You definitely know when someone is cheating on you. He was just out with his friends all the time getting all messed up … I don’t want that around my kid.” Whitney claims that the pair was fighting constantly and she just couldn’t take it anymore, so she moved back in with her parents – and her son came with. Weston has yet to comment, but he is giving Josh Rendon and Ebony Jackson a run for their unfit parenting money. Good thing Whitney stepped up.

Kris Herzog, the loose cannon former bodyguard and self-proclaimed lover of Oksana Grigorieva, is now protecting presidential candidate Herman Cain. In any case, here he is on the campaign trail in Detroit with Herman Cain , the Georgia businessman who has improbably become a contender for the GOP nomination: On a side note, the Cain Express has a sweet ass tour bus . Cain’s spokesperson, J.D. Gordon, told TMZ that the appearance shown above was Herzog’s first job with the campaign and he worked with a team of 2-3 guys. It’s unclear if Herzog is scheduled for other events or will be asked to provide future services … and also unclear if Cain is aware that Herzog is bat$h!t insane . After the rapper was released from police custody Tuesday, SB made a quick statement to his fans and the press waiting outside. “I’m innocent, man. I love you all. I just want y’all to know I’m innocent,” he said as he was rushed to his car, according to CBS Atlanta . The 21-year-old hitmaker was arrested Tuesday after police pulled over the black Cadillac Escalade, Soulja was riding in. After what police are calling a routine traffic stop, they detected a strong marijuana odor and searched the vehicle. Officers found marijuana, guns and cash in the SUV. Sources told CBS Atlanta that police found more than 5 ounces of pot and $46,000 in cash in the rented vehicle. Soulja and the four men who were riding with him were all booked and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. The men were being held in Carroll County Jail in Carrollton, Georgia, but were all released after posting bond. As expected, the digital whiz took to Twitter to address his concerned fans. “Aye can I have a real n—a moment? My fans was DEEP AS F— OUTSIDE THAT JAIL MAN IM SORRY!!!
