Diddy’s ATL Restaurant To Shut Down After 14 profitable years in business, Diddy-owned ATL restaurant Justin’s announced that it would soon shut down for good. Nearly five years after P. Diddy’s Justin’s Restaurant in NYC closed, the Atlanta location will now be shutting its doors as well. Named after his eldest son, Justin’s was initially a regular site to spot celebrities in the popular city. Amid rumors of renovation and new management, the southern-Caribbean eatery stayed open for 14 years but announced its closure last weekend. A spokesperson from Bad Boy Worldwide Entertainment Group said that it’s pursuing “other business ventures in music, television, fashion, fragrance and spirits” and that they are “actively exploring business opportunities in Atlanta.” Although the restaurant was known on Peachtree Road, patrons often complained about the food and décor. Wow… He lived through that??? Ronald Poppo, the man who was viciously attacked in Miami Memorial weekend is doing much better according to his doctors. Miami Zombie Attack Victim Up Walking And Talking In Hospital But it turns out that in addition to having to survive 50% of his face being chewed away, he also had to recover from a gunshot wound: As if things couldn’t have been worse for the vagrant whose face was chewed off by the horrifying “Miami Zombie,” doctors revealed Tuesday that cops accidentally shot him as they tried to save him. Ronald Poppo, 65, had two holes in his left chest when he was brought bleeding to Jackson Memorial Hospital, doctors said. They were apparently entry and exit wounds. Maniac Rudy Eugene, who was not armed, was on top of Poppo when police opened fire to stop the gruesome attack. A stray bullet hit the victim, too. Poppo is recovering surprisingly well, eating, walking and even cheering on his basketball team, doctors said, calling him “charming.” They released two graphic photos of Poppo, showing him in a hospital gown walking down a hallway with help. His nose and right eye is gone, his left eye is covered in a bandage and his forehead and cheeks are a mass of bloody wounds. The bottom half of his face, from his salt and pepper mustache on down, appears okay. “He’s coping remarkably well,” trauma surgeon Nicholas Namias told reporters. “We have mental health professionals to help him.” Doctors said he remembers the horrifying attack but has displayed a surprisingly upbeat attitude. Asked if he had a message before the news conference, doctors said Poppo replied: “Go Heat!” The Miami Heat play Oklahoma City Tuesday night in the NBA finals. Poppo, who was blinded in the attack, has undergone three surgeries so far – including skin grafts – and will need more. “First he needs to recover from the three surgeries he’s already had,” said plastic surgeon Wrood Kassira. He will remain hospitalized for “weeks at least,” Kassira added. The hospital has started a fund to collect donations for the destitute vagrant’s care. So far they’ve raised $15,000. Doctors said they won’t know whether Poppo can be a candidate for a face transplant – an experimental new procedure being funded by the Defense Department – until his wounds heal. The bizarre attack on Poppo, a harmless homeless alcoholic who started life at Manhattan’s prestigious Stuyvesant High School, captured the sympathy of the world. He was reclining under a shady overpass on Memorial Day weekend when a deranged naked wastrel named Rudy Eugene fell upon him unprovoked, beat him and chewed off more than 50% of his face. Eugene, 31, had shed all his clothes and ripped out pages from the Bible he always carried he walked along the McArthur Causeway joining the city to Miami Beach, CBS reported. Eugene was shot and killed by police when he refused to stop attacking Poppo. An autopsy found no parts of Poppo’s face in Eugene’s stomach – contradicting accounts by appalled witnesses that the attacker was swallowing the pieces of flesh he ripped away with his teeth. The autopsy did not find an explanation for Eugene’s unusual behavior, though more tests are still pending. Poppo’s family in the New York area had long believed him dead. So far, Poppo has not had any visitors, doctors said. That’s really sad that his family hasn’t come to visit him. We think the Miami Heat should head over to the hospital as soon as they have a chance, especially if they win this championship. Guess they didn’t respond well to “Here, Kitty Kitty” . According to RadarOnline.com : British woman was savagely attacked by two cheetahs recently while enjoy “a trip of a lifetime” to a South African wildlife park. But what was probably more painful was the fact that her husband took pictures of the whole ordeal rather than rushing to her aid! Violet D’Mello, 60, went to pet the purportedly tame animals as permitted. But she was left traumatized when she was mauled by the cheetahs, suffering injuries to her head, stomach and legs and nearly losing an eye. One of the guides at the Kragga Kamma game reserve immediately intervened and managed to get one of the felines off of Violet. But then the other one joined in the frightening melee and pinned the Aberdeen woman to the ground. Several of the guests apparently tried to pull the animals off as the quick-thinking woman tried to play dead. While the whole three-minute ordeal was going on, Violet’s 64-year-old husband Archie took photos of the entire attack – rather than run to help his wife. The startling images, which you can see here on RadarOnline.com, show blood pouring from the woman’s head, arms and legs. The cheetahs are also seen staring at the woman like she was a piece of meat that they were going to devour until there was just a carcass left. In a creepy foreshadowing of what is about to occur, Violet is seen petting one of the cheetahs who is laying down licking his lips. Park manager Mike Cantor, who raised the four-year-old cheetah brothers Mark and Monty, said that “everyone has been traumatized by it all.” Eight-year-old Camryn Malan was also caught up in the attack and needed stitches in her leg from the cheetah bites. Astonishingly, Cantor maintains that the cheetahs just wanted to “play.” “I have grown up with these cheetahs and they are not aggressive animals,” Cantor said. “It is almost like they wanted to play with the woman. What happened was that a young girl got a bit uptight and then ran away and the cheetah grabbed her by the leg.” Not surprisingly, Violet told South Africa’s Herald newspaper that the incident was a “nightmare.” “It really came from nowhere and I was totally helpless. The doctor at the hospital said cheetahs usually aim for the stomach area and disembowel their victims, so I was lucky to be alive,” she said. The petting part of the park has been shut down pending an investigation. This gives the term “gut full of human” a whole new meaning. And we can only make that joke because she’s ok! Taylor Armstrong revealed in her memoir that her late husband, Russell, tried to drown her in a swimming pool along with two unnamed friends, and RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned their identities and confirmed that a police report was in fact filed. Jennifur Diamond and her husband at the time, Mark Alsentzer, were at Taylor and Russell’s home several years ago when he flew into a rage and badly injured Mark, but no one pressed charges because Taylor begged her BFF Jennifur not to, and both she and Mark agreed. According to Taylor’s book, Russell pretended he had left the group but was really listening to their conversation and after hearing Taylor say, “Just take care of Kennedy if anything happens,” Russell allegedly jumped out of the bushes and confronted her. “Russell was in a frenzy, and he had a wild look in his eyes. He hit Mark, and threw Jennifur, her dog and Taylor in the swimming pool and tried to drown Taylor. Taylor thought she was going to die as Russell held her under the water,” a source exclusively told RadarOnline.com. “Mark and Jennifur were able to pull Russell off of her and probably saved her life. The cops were called and a police report was filed. At that point Taylor hadn’t been receiving any therapy, and she begged and pleaded with her friends not to press charges. “Taylor had to cover her neck for several weeks because of the choke marks. She even had trouble speaking because of Russell’s strength when he tried to choke her.” Russell definitely had some loose screws, but he wasn’t about that “go-to-jail” life. “Mark got 16 stitches and had work done on his teeth because of what Russell did,” the insider said. “I can’t be sure that Russell gave them money to stay quiet, but he definitely gave them money to cover the expenses of Mark’s medical stuff which was somewhere around $12,000.” And although no charges were pressed, the incident created a temporary rift between Taylor and Jennifur, who refused to protect Taylor any longer when Russell got violent. “Jennifur was really, really upset and said that she couldn’t talk to Taylor anymore because the abusive situation was too much. They tried to get Taylor to leave Russell, but she didn’t want to give up her lifestyle,” the source said. This story just makes Taylor look even worse if you ask us. Ewww, gross… A 5-year-old girl is getting ready to undergo a battery of tests after she found a condom on her school playground and thought it was a balloon. The condom was found in wood chips on the playground at Acres Green Elementary School in Littleton on Thursday. “One of my daughter’s friends brought it over to my daughter and gave it to her as a gift,” the father told 7NEWS. “At that point, my daughter attempted to blow it up.” After playing with the condom, the girl put it in her pocket. “My concern is not knowing if it was used or not (and) my daughter putting it to her mouth,” the father said. We are not naming the father or girl to protect her. B-b-but wait it gets worse… 7NEWS discovered the condom the girl found on the playground was not the only one. “The school went out as soon as they found out about it and went through the playground and did find a few other items, condoms, out on the playground,” said Randy Barber, spokesman for the Douglas County School District. Says the little girl’s father about the incident: “It’s not something I ever thought I would deal with in my life or even conceive of dealing with,” said the father. “It’s real. It can happen, and I think parents need to step up and really take a stronger role in the grounds of the school and what is going on in the schools.” This is some of the most terrifying isht we ever heard of. This is just sad ! Aaron Brantley, an 86-year-old, World War II veteran said nobody helped him in the minutes after he was attacked and carjacked during daylight at a busy Detroit gas station and he had to crawl across a concrete parking lot to get help. HuffingtonPost reports: Carjackers broke into his car and broke his leg and drove off with his vehicle. He doesn’t remember being hit, but he does remember feeling the pain of his broken leg as he was forced to crawl on the ground from the pump to the inside of the gas station. The security camera footage of people walking right by him as he crawls and not even looking down, much less offering to help is pretty damn heartbreaking. He eventually made it inside, where he still wasn’t given immediate attention: “People were passing me just like I wasn’t there. … I was crawling and they just walk by me like I’m not there,” he said. Fortunately, he’s got an impressively optimistic outlook on the attack, saying he’s simply glad he wasn’t shot. But his granddaughter hits the nail on the head when she describes how people ignored him: “It’s sickening. It’s disgusting. It’s sad. They treated him like he was a dog.” This is so unfortunate.
