According to TMZ Adam “Pacman” Jones — aka the NFL’s version of DMX — was arrested again, this time during a DUI stop where he wasn’t even the suspect … for once. Jones was the passenger in a car Ohio State Patrol pulled over early Monday morning — and he reportedly mouthed off to officers while they were conducting a field sobriety test on the woman who was driving. The Cincinnati Bengals’ star cornerback was arrested for disorderly conduct and released. The driver was also arrested for OVI … operating a vehicle impaired. Jones has a string of legal issues — 8 arrests since entering the league 2005 — and could be suspended by the league or the team for this latest one. Most recently he was caught on surveillance cameras hitting a woman outside a nightclub back in June — and already has an Oct. 7 court date for that case. According to The Wall Street Journal In a real-life situation that sounds more like a tired old country song than the latest hip-hop single, rapper DMX has $50 in his pockets and nothing in the bank. New court filings in the bankruptcy case of Earl Simmons, aka DMX, show the rapper has little to report in the way of assets as well as expenses that exceed his monthly income. One of the top-selling hip-hop artists ever, DMX now says he’s down to $50 cash on hand. Not only does he report, under penalty of perjury, that he has zero dollars in the bank, but he also denies having any personal property of value—no electronic equipment, no jewelry, no clothes and no cars. Besides the $50 cash, DMX says the rest of the $1.4 million in assets to his name are tied to pending litigation and other claims. The rapper’s debts include more than $1 million in unpaid domestic-support obligations that, as Bankruptcy Beat readers will recall, precipitated his Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing in July, as well as more than $453,000 owed on a mortgage to a property in Mount Kisco, N.Y. His unsecured creditors are owed another $479,000. As for his monthly budget, DMX is spending more than he’s earning. Court papers show the rapper’s estimated monthly income is $5,000, but monthly expenses are $5,221 (including $1,000 on clothing and $500 on laundry and dry cleaning). DMX’s bankruptcy attorney couldn’t immediately be reached Thursday afternoon to comment. T.O. should look up definition of “black-balled” Terrell Owens Wants An Opportunity To Play For The New England Patriots Via CBSSports The Patriots are in desperate need of experienced wide receivers, and Terrell Owens, who last played in a regular-season game in 2010, desperately wants back in the league. So it stands to reason that T.O. would make a case for the Patriots giving him another chance at NFL redemption. “Obviously the situation with the Patriots, they are starting out with a lot of new guys,” Owens told the Boston Globe’s Gary Washburn. “You never know how management is thinking, what their process is as far as bringing in veterans. “I understand they may look at my age as an issue but I’m not your average 39-year-old. I think if you watch me work out, I’m not really concerned about injuries or anything like that. Plus, I’ll be getting paid the vet minimum, so it’s not like I am asking for any extra incentive in my contract.” Owens is right: Compared to other 39-year-olds, he’s a freak of nature. But that still doesn’t translate in a league where the average career is less than five years. In 2012, T.O. lasted just 20 days in Seahawks’ training camp, a stint that included more preseason drops (3) than receptions (2). It was further proof that his best days are receding in the rearview. Owens, meanwhile, thinks it has more to do with his off-field issues than his lack of on-field productivity. “I think it’s the reputation of the things I’ve done in the past,” he said. “People won’t let my mistakes die. It’s just puzzling for me. Gucci Mane Arrested For Cursing At Police, Guns, And Kush According to TMZ reports : Gucci Mane was arrested this morning for allegedly cussing out a couple of cops in Atlanta while in possession of weed and a gun … TMZ has learned. Gucci Mane — real name Radric Davis — was taken into custody at 12:05 am this morning after one of his friends complained to cops about his erratic behavior. Wait, and it was his homie who called them?!?! SMH According to the report — the friend waved down police to help out … but when they approached Gucci he began “cursing and threatening them.” We’re told he was immediately taken into custody and police found a small amount of marijuana on the 33-year old rapper … as well as a handgun. GM was booked for carrying a concealed weapon, disorderly conduct and marijuana possession … then taken to a nearby hospital as a precaution. We’re told he’s still at the hospital. Hospital??? Stop the violence ! Stabbing At Texas High School A 16-year-old student is dead and three others injured after a stabbing in a Texas high school cafeteria Wednesday morning. Via NY Daily News reports: Three people are in custody following the fight at Houston’s Spring High School around 7:10 a.m. said Harris County Sheriff Adrian Garcia at a press conference. A second 16-year-old originally listed in critical condition at an area hospital has been reported by his pastor as improving. The two other students injured are said to have sustained minor injuries. The single fatality has been identified by KPRC as Joshua Broussard who was a sophomore at the school. Garcia described the fight breaking out over a “confrontation of some sort” that ultimately led into a physical fight that produced “sharp” weapons of some kind. “We have not recovered those weapons so we are still conducting that aspect of the investigation,” he said while claiming that those currently in custody are the only persons of interest in the case. A mother of a student who allegedly witnessed the stabbing recounted to KHOU of the terrifying phone call she received from her daughter telling her “they’re in here stabbing people.” A few hours later a Hispanic adult man and a teen, suspected by local reports as being one of the first two teens, were seen being escorted back into the school in handcuffs.
