Nose candy ! Elementary School Kids Caught Smoking Powdered Candy Via HuffPo reports: This isn’t what a “sugar high” was supposed to mean. Fourth- and fifth-grade students in South Carolina were caught smoking and inhaling crushed Smarties and Fun Dip candies, said Glenn Wile, Fountain Inn Elementary School principal. FOX Carolina reported that faculty members discovered at least 31 kids, boys and girls — sucking in the candies — “creating a puff of smoke.” The school responded to the ongoing problem by sending a letter to parents, making them aware of the situation’s “inappropriateness” and banning any candy that can be powdered. Drugs and candy have had a tumultuous relationship in elementary and high schools. In 2011, “Pothead Ring Pots” and “Pothead Lollipops” — candies shaped like marijuana — had public officials, parents and anti-drug activists up in arms when they began appearing on store shelves. On the more serious side, last year, a 29-year-old man allegedly sold drug-laced sweets to children. Police believe the man put tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) — a substance present in marijuana — in root beer-flavored treats. The days of candy cigarettes seem so much simpler compared to this! Keep that candy out ya nose kids.

Only in Florida … Florida Woman Shot By Oven While Cooking Waffles Via Tmapa Bay Times reports: A young woman trying to make an evening snack ended up at the hospital Monday night after a round of ammunition exploded inside an oven, police said. Eighteen-year-old Aalaya Walker just wanted some waffles. What she didn’t know was that her friend Javarski “JJ” Sandy, 25, had placed a magazine from his .45-caliber Glock 21 in the oven. It’s unclear why he would do that. Walker preheated the oven shortly after 9 p.m. She heard an explosion a short time later. She picked fragments of at least one round from her chest and leg. She rode the bus to St. Anthony’s Hospital, where she met with officers. They sought out Sandy, who was at his apartment in the 200 block of 24th St. N. Sandy, who has a permit to carry a concealed weapon, confirmed Walker’s story. He told authorities there were four rounds in the magazine. He showed the melted magazine to officers, though he’d already thrown away the other bullets. “He stated that he does not have a temperature gauge on the oven so he estimates the temperature based on how far the knob is turned,” an officer wrote in a report. “I observed that the inside of the oven was damaged.” Police described Walker’s wounds as “superficial.” They did not make any arrests. Why the hell was ammo stored in the oven?!? More importantly, who the hell makes waffles in a damn oven??? Jesus take the wheel, brakes and engine!

Undoubtedly there are gay kids who follow her on Twitter who hear this word in an entirely different context. This word is used almost universally by bullies, often as part of a larger verbal or physical assault. SMH Former Senator Admits To Fathering A Child With Another Senator’s Daughter While Married An ex Republican Senator from New Mexico recently dropped a bombshell on his family and his community when he revealed that he’d had an extramarital affair and even fathered a child with another Senator’s daughter when she was just 24-years-old. via ABC News Former New Mexico Senator Pete Domenici revealed today that he fathered a son in an extramarital affair with another senator’s daughter more than 30 years ago and has kept the secret since then, only telling his own family in the last “several months.” In a statement to the Albuquerque Journal, the 80-year-old Republican, who represented New Mexico for more than 30 years, said the mother of his son “made me pledge that we would never reveal that parenthood and I have tried to honor that pledge and so has she.” Domenici wrote that he was worried about the privacy of his son, a 34-year-old Nevada lawyer named Adam Laxalt, as well as the potential impact on Laxalt’s mother, Michelle Laxalt, 58. Domenici has eight other children with his wife Nancy. “My past action has caused hurt and disappointment to my wife, children, family, and others. For that I am solely responsible,” Domenici, who still lives in Washington, D.C., said in the statement. “My family has been aware of these events for several months. I have apologized as best as I can to my wife, and we have worked together to strengthen our relationship. I deeply regret this and am very sorry for my behavior. According to National Enquirer reports : AFTER nearly five years behind bars, O.J. SIMPSON’s bizarre behavior has some of his close friends worried that the former football great has gone gay! “I don’t know what’s happened to O.J.,” an insider told The ENQUIRER. “He used to be Mr. Macho – a diehard ladies’ man. He preferred the really fine sexy blondes, but being surrounded by only men has changed him. “Now O.J. has way too much interest in guys, and he likes to show off his body to the hardened felons when they exercise in the prison yard. He says the former ladies’ man hangs out with a group of openly gay men known as “The Girls.” “WHENEVER HE’S LET out into the prison yard, he stays with them,” revealed the insider. “He says, ‘The Girls treat me like I was a king!’ “He claims they flirt with him and even give him massages. Some even call him ‘DJ’ – short for ‘Daddy Juice.’ ” O.J. has used “The Girls” as his personal posse for years now, added the insider. “He says he has even gifted a few of the ‘girls’ with candy bars, sodas and toiletries from the prison canteen,” continued the insider. “I’ve asked O.J. why he doesn’t talk about women anymore, but he just laughs it off. (A entourage escorted her into the courtroom and moved with her during breaks — with some holding coats over her face to block photographers. One member of the group even followed a CLIFFVIEW PILOT reporter/photographer upstairs and around a corner when she sat down to write.) The publication did not make any mention of her presence in their coverage of closing arguments however: Harris’ defense attorney Bryan Neary took issue with the key witness not being able to remember dates of specific incidents, citing what he called “contradiction upon contradiction” and “inconsistencies.” Their Lodi home didn’t have locks, he said, and the woman’s brothers were around, running in and out of the house — making the sexual encounters she described implausible. Kenya Moore sure knows how to get some good camera time… Kenya Moore Breast Cancer Scare Via RadarOnline reports: The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore undergoes a biopsy for lumps in her breast on Sunday’s episode of the reality TV show and RadarOnline.com has a sneak peak at the drama. Moore opens up about the health scare which resulted in the medical procedure admitting with everything that has been going on in her life her “health has taken a back seat”. Dressed in a hospital gown and with a thermometer in her mouth Moore is seen listening intently as a doctor explains what they will do to her. With her supportive Aunt Lori by her side she then lies back as the nurse begins the procedure. “I had my annual mammogram done and I didn’t get the best news,” a worried Kenya says. “The doctor found not one but two lumps in my breast. Today I have to have a biopsy. I’m not really sure what to expect but finding out that I could possibly have cancer is definitely one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to face.” While the results have not been revealed Moore did respond to one Twitter fan who asked if she had cancer and said: “I encourage all women to watch next episode.” Do you think Kenya is really suffering or just playing up the drama for more camera time??
