C’mon Randy, you too old for this isht Country Music Star Randy Travis Arrested For DUI Without Clothes On This has been one tough year for country singer Randy Travis. The singer is currently involved in a vicious divorce with his ex-wife, he has one arrest under is belt for public intoxication and he’s now adding another arrest, this time for DWI. Travis was arrested Tuesday night outside Tioga, Texas, for driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and retaliation and obstruction, a felony. State troopers responded to a call at 11:18 p.m. reporting a man lying on the road outside of the town of Tioga. Travis had been involved in a single-car accident, police said. They discovered Travis at the scene with a “strong odor of an alcoholic beverage on his breath and several signs of intoxication” and arrested him for DWI, according to the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office. On the way to the station, Travis allegedly threatened to shoot and kill the troopers, which resulted in an additional charge of retaliation and obstruction. Travis was brought to the station naked, though it’s unclear whether Travis was discovered naked or somehow disrobed later, Sgt. Ricky Wheeler of the Grayson County Sheriff’s Office told ABC News. B-b-but wait it gets worse! Travis’ mug shot shows him with a black eye and cuts on his face. Wheeler said police didn’t know if the bruises were the result of the car accident or if he was like that before. “That’s just the way he was brought into our jail,” Wheeler said. Travis, 53, was booked and held overnight, then released Wednesday after posting a total of $21,500 bond, $20,000 of which was for the felony charge. Usher Plans To Continue Custody Battle With Tameka Foster Although Tameka Foster is clearly still grieving the loss of her son Kile, her ex-husband Usher can’t see ‘em coming down his eyes, so he’s gotta make the mom cry. The R&B superstar is said to have plans to continue his heated battle with Tameka for custody of his two children Usher Raymond V and Naviyd. Not only is the trial going to continue, people close to Tameka seem to think that “Ursha” used Kile’s death to gain some sort of PR advantage and gain sympathy from his fans. We feel like the only reason he came at all is because the media kept portraying Kile as “Usher’s stepson.” He wasn’t supportive to the family at all and we feel he used the situation to draw sympathy from his fans. The sad thing about this entire situation is that Tameka swallowed her pride and actually reached out to Usher while Kile was hospitalized. She could never get him on the phone so she left a message begging him to help her with some of the expenses her insurance wouldn’t cover. He never returned her calls and when Kile passed away Tameka reached out to him again and he still hasn’t responded to this day. It’s my understanding that they’re scheduled to resume the case in court Aug. 13th. Looks like the rumors that Ursh was dropping the case was just a bunch of BS. Usher had no intention of dropping that custody dispute and his high powered PR team leaked that fake story about him wanting to settle, hoping fans would think that it was Tameka who is being uncooperative but that is so far from the truth. Chicago clothing store loses $3,000 worth of jeans in flash robbery These kids today are crazy I tell you: A mob of more than 20 teenagers descended on a trendy Wicker Park shop on Saturday and made off with more than $3,000 worth of jeans. CBS 2′s Derrick Blakley reports the incident was caught on store surveillance cameras, and the owner posted the video on YouTube. Luke Cho said he hopes the images help police find the robbers, or maybe even shame the parents of the teens enough that they’ll turn the kids in. From the moment the teens started flooding in the door at Mildblend Supply Co. on Milwaukee Avenue around 6:40 p.m. Saturday, Cho knew something wasn’t right. “You see a group a group of teenagers walking in — or marching in — one-by-one. As you can see, it looks like it’s some kind of procession,” Cho said while reviewing the surveillance video on Sunday. To Cho, it looked like a flash mob was about to rob the store, so he immediately locked the door. “At least I think I kind of maybe stopped the flow a little bit, but I quickly realized something bad’s about to happen, and I alerted my staff to call 911,” Cho said. Most of the group flocked to an corner of the store right beneath a security camera, and appeared to know exactly what they were looking for: an exclusive, expensive brand of jeans called Nudie Jeans, which average about $200 a pair. “We happen to be one of the few that sell Nudie Jeans in the city,” Cho said. The teens tried to get out of store, but not before doing more shopping, stuffing their backpacks with merchandise, while other teens outside tried to get in. “At the time when I locked the door, they’re banging on the door,” Cho said. Eventually, the teens figured out how to unlock the door themselves, and rushed into the streets, which were packed with crowds from the Wicker Park Fest, making it easier to blend in. Now, Cho wonders whether the flash mob phenomenon is deserting downtown for the neighborhoods. “I think if they zero in on a product they want to steal, they’re going to go anywhere, and basically organize, and plan it to hit what they want,” Cho said. Cho said it took police 30 minutes to reach his store after the 911 call went out about 6:45 p.m. on Saturday. He said officers told him they were delayed by the many street closures for Wicker Park Fest. Cho called the incident organized looting, pure and simple. For a label named Cash Money, they sure don’t like to pay muhfuggas… J.Prince Jr. Is Suing Cortez Bryant And Cash Money Records For Money Owed As Drake’s Management Houston’s J Prince Jr., son of Rap-A-Lot founder and CEO J Prince, is suing Drake’s management team for breach of contract and breach of fiduciary duty, in what totals 10 claims against Cortez Bryant and his business associates. According to documents filed today in New York State Supreme Court, J Prince, Jr. stated that he deserves a cut of the profits earned for introducing Drake to Lil’ Wayne and Cortez Bryant’s management team, Aspire. In the lawsuit, J Prince Jr. alleges that Bryant and Drake verbally agreed to pay J Prince Jr. a portion of the profits earned. Prince claims that Bryant verbally agreed to, “use their experience, influence, and relationships to persuade Drake into entering an exclusive recording agreement and an exclusive management agreement with the two of them and Bryant, and was to use his influence to compel Lil’ Wayne to sign and promote Drake to and through Lil’ Wayne’s record company YME, once Drake signed the agreements.” In addition, given J Prince, Sr’s relationship with Cash Money Records, the distributor of Young Money would “consult with them and take the lead on their business dealings with YME and CMR.” The lawsuit also claims that on December 10, 2008, Bryant signed Drake to an exclusive management agreement with his company and defendant Roberson’s companies, Laurent and Three Kings, and that Bryant signed Drake to an exclusive recording agreement with his company, Aspire. J Prince Jr. also claims that in or around April 2009, Bryant made J Prince aware of the signing and pledged to honor the original agreement. Hopefully J.Prince gets his bread. 72-Year-Old Voiceover Actor Fired From PBS After Being Arrested For Lewd Acts Fred Willard is learning the hard way that you can’t just willy nilly pull your willy out in public… Within hours of news that Fred Willard was arrested for lewd behavior in an adult movie theater, he lost a television job. The comic actor, 72, was dropped Thursday from his voice-over gig on PBS’s Antiques Roadshow spinoff, Market Warriors. “Given the unfortunate news reported today, effective immediately, Fred Willard no longer will be involved with the Market Warriors series,” Jeanne Hopkins, a rep for WGBH, the Boston public broadcaster that produces the show, said in a statement. Willard’s duties on the program will be taken over by Mark Walberg, host of the show. Damn, son got fired from doing VOICEOVERS? Is it really that serious? Willard has denied the allegations via his attorney : “With all due respect to the individual officer,” attorney Paul Takakjian tells TMZ , “our belief is that Fred did nothing in any violation of any law. George Zimmerman’s Defense Team Requests A New Trial Judge Former self-appointed neighborhood watchman George Zimmerman is now requesting a new judge be appointed to handle his murder trial. George Zimmerman, accused of murdering 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, filed a motion on Friday to disqualify the judge that will preside over his case, citing his fear that he will not be given a fair trial. Zimmerman, via his attorney, Mark O’Mara, filed the 17-page document with the Seminole County Circuit Court. The motion is a response to Judge Kenneth Lester’s July 5 order that set $1 million bail for Zimmerman and claimed that Zimmerman had “flaunted the system” and practiced “deception upon the court.” It was the second time Lester granted Zimmerman bail. Lester revoked a previous $150,000 bail in April after prosecutors presented evidence that Zimmerman and his wife misled the court about how much money they had available by speaking in code on phone calls. Prosecutors added that Zimmerman initially lied about the existence of a second passport. O’Mara recently tried to appeal to the judge that Zimmerman was confused and fearful back in March when the alleged deception occurred. In a second bond hearing in June, O’Mara reiterated that Zimmerman had voluntarily turned himself in to the court and now was completely open regarding his financial ability. Lester, however, in that July 5 bail order, remained skeptical of Zimmerman’s motives and expressed irritation at being lied to. He accused Zimmerman of manipulating the court and even suggested that if Zimmerman had the opportunity he would have fled prosecution. In Friday’s motion, O’Mara wrote that Lester’s order was indicative of a bias against Zimmerman, saying that the judge’s statements were “disingenuous, self-serving manipulations.” First you want out of jail, now you want a new judge. Evander Holyfield Finally Moves Out Of His Foreclosed Atlanta Home According to TMZ reports : Evander Holyfield couldn’t fight his way outta this one … the former heavyweight champ is finally moving out of his foreclosed Georgia mansion after failing to strike a deal with the bank. TMZ broke the story … Holyfield owed more than $14 million on the 54,000 square foot mega-mansion … which was recently sold at a foreclosure auction for $7.5 million. After the sale, the bank that purchased the home allowed Evander to continue to live there temporarily … but judging by the moving trucks lined up at his front door … it seems he’s finally worn out his welcome. We’re told the trucks spent several hours at the mansion — though it’s unclear where the movers are taking E.H.’s stuff. Holyfield obviously has some major financial problems — besides the foreclosure, he owes a ton of cash in unpaid federal taxes … plus, he’s up to his mangled ears in back child support payments.
