SMH Much has been made of the celebrity presence at the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, but there’s one tabloid target who hasn’t made much of an impact. Perhaps that’s all about to change, however, because Lindsay Lohan has decided to jump into the fray, and talk taxes. Barack Obama’s Twitter account sent out a quote from one of the president’s speeches. It’s a bit unclear what Lohan is trying to suggest. Perhaps she means that some listed on Forbes magazine’s lists should receive tax cuts if it turns out that they are not, in fact, millionaires. WTF ??!?!!? A wheelchair-bound man who claimed his daughter had been abusing him doused her with acid Saturday, a savage attack in Brooklyn that caused the skin to peel from her face, cops and witnesses said. Darlene Lynch, 49, sprinted from her Schenck Ave. apartment about 1:40 p.m. Her skin and clothes were smoking. She was screaming for help. “My father did this!” Lynch wailed as her clothes disintegrated off of her body, leaving her nearly naked in the street. Neighbors at the Boulevard Houses in East New York looked on in disbelief. “You could see the smoke coming off her body,” Clarissa Shakespeare said. “Everyone was just traumatized and scared. Her skin looked like melting wax. And then her whole eye lid was melted. The whole left side from her face all the way down to her feet.” Sources said the victim’s dad, Jerome Lynch, 69, splashed his daughter with a drain cleaner, El Diablo — which is 98% sulfuric acid. Via TMZ reports : George Clinton has allegedly been atomic dogging the U.S. government once again … so says Uncle Sam who just filed yet ANOTHER federal tax lien filed against the music legend. According to documents filed in Leon County, Florida … Clinton failed to pay $7,457.89 worth of taxes in 2009 and $13,301.57 for the year 2010. As TMZ first reported, Clinton already owes $115,552.27 to the IRS for the tax years 2007 and 2008. Grand total for ALL FOUR years … $136,281.73. Calls to Clinton’s camp have not been returned. Evelyn’s bouncin’ back on TV after VH1 dropped her show . The “Basketball Wives” star and Oprah Guru worked together for an upcoming episode of “Iyanla: Fix My Life”; a new show premiering on OWN this fall. Following a tumultuous season of “Basketball Wives,” the release of her first book, and tying the knot with Chad (formerly Ochocinco) Johnson, Evelyn met Vanzant for a little workout and maybe some self evaluation. “Hey everyone! I’m with Iyanla and can’t wait for you guys to see me on her show “Iyanla Fix My Life” on OWN in September,” Lozada confirmed with pictures from the taping. “Right now, I’m in my ZEN moment with Iyanla.” As widely reported, Evelyn vowed to make some changes in her life following the fourth season of “Basketball Wives” where she was seen throwing a wine bottle at a cast member (among other things). Maybe this will be a great public way she can share her journey and growth with viewers. The new series will show Iyanla working with women and their families, revealing secrets, truths, and emotions as she shows us all how to “pull back the curtain on what is broken in our lives”. She believes that it’s directly related to the recession. “I don’t think that it’s an accident,” says Schwartz. “People are telling us that when things are tough, core needs are most important. For the stans … So apparently singer Keri Hilson is struggling. I’m hearing she is “blacklisted” in the industry after her blatant disses towards Beyonce. Interscope has had their wits with her diva-ish attitude and her partner in crime who came up with the idea of Keri to come for Beyonce’s crown has been ghost in her defense to save her failing career. She is at rock bottom, and is too prideful to realize it. The top producers and writers are too scared to collaborate or work with her on her new projects for fear of catching some of the backlash. Wouldn’t be surprised if she nudged fellow struggling singer Ciara to do a duet and get some buzz for her declining singing career. That sounds like a terrible idea. A Keri Hilson and Ci-Error duet? Lawyers for the crazed gunman claim they will need more time to assess their deranged client before going to trial. Attorneys for the suspect in the Colorado movie theater shootings said Thursday their client is mentally ill and that they need more time to assess the nature of his illness. James Holmes’ lawyers made the disclosure at a court hearing in suburban Denver where news media organizations were asking a judge to unseal court documents in the case. Holmes, a 24-year-old former Ph.D. student at the University of Colorado, Denver, had the familiar, dazed demeanor that he has had in previous court appearances.
