For weeks now, we’ve been hearing rumors that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are headed for divorce. Actually, those rumors have been going around since their wedding day, but they’ve really intensified lately. Part of the reason for this, of course, is that West has been behaving erratically throughout the past year. Yes, even more erratically than usual. There have been too many incidents to recount here. Suffice it to say, dude has been effing up a lot lately. Sources say Kim feels unsafe and believes Kanye is putting her in harm’s way be starting public feuds with other public figures. One insider went so far as to say Kim has reached the point where she feels that “divorce is her only option.” But hey — no matter what happens, at least this marriage lasted a hell of a lot longer than Kim’s first. Remember when Kim was married to Kris Humphries? Well, Kim sure does. And it seems she’s finally reached the point where she’s able to laugh about it. Kim posted this photo of her beloved grandmother MJ on her Instagram page this morning: “I just found this pic of my beautiful grandma MJ at her 1st wedding,” she captioned It lasted just 2.5 months and her family spent all they had on this wedding,” “She felt so bad but followed her heart. Kinda sounds familiar lol,” Kardashian joked. “She’s always taught me to follow my heart and do what I want to do no matter what! I love you MJ (and how much does Kendall look like MJ!!!).” For starters, yes, Kendall does look an awful lot like Kim. In addition, it’s been interesting to watch Kim gradually become more at ease with talking about her first marriage. “The night before, my mom pulled me aside, off camera, and was like, ‘This isn’t it for you. Why don’t you go away and I’ll handle it?’” Kim told The Hollywood Reporter in 2017. “I felt like, if I pulled out now, everyone’s going to think I just did it for the show.” Well, she certainly didn’t pull out. And while we’re sure she regrets it, there’s a lesson to be learned here: When it comes to matters of the heart, follow your gut Also, whenever possible, be like MJ.
