Ronnie went to the gas station and bought three lottery tickets using numbers printed on a fortune cookie paper he opened years ago. It turns out, the “lucky numbers” from the old cookie proved to be a match to all the winning numbers in the Mega Millions jackpot, except the Mega Ball. NJ.com reports: The numbers drawn that night were 1, 2, 4, 19, and 29. The Mega Ball, which Martin’s ticket didn’t have, was 20. Seven other tickets across the country, including one other in New Jersey also matched five numbers. Martin, meanwhile, told lottery officials he and his wife Shirley will pay off their house and use some of the money toward bills. They plan to save the rest. Time to start saving these fortune cookies.

Getty Images/PBNJ Production Child Tragically Thrown From Building Mentally Ill Brother This story is absolutely heartbreaking. A 4-year-old boy tragically died early Saturday morning following an incident with a family member. The toddler reportedly plunged to his death after his mentally ill older brother threw the child from their Brooklyn building, officials said. Shimon Smith was found in the courtyard behind his apartment on Nostrand Ave. near Ave. J in Flatlands about 3:30 a.m., cops said, where he died at the scene. Too inhuman,” said John Okoh, whose family lives in the building. “They ought to have controlled the person who is sick.” The tot was thrown from a high floor, police sources said, but have not confirmed which number or exactly how high that is. According to reports, Shimon’s 20-year-old brother is actually the one who ran out into the street and flagged down a passing police car following the incident. Unfortunately for him, his now-late younger brother, and everybody involved with the situation, he is the one who ended up finding himself in handcuffs after cops realized that he may have been responsible for the boy’s death, sources said. Sources told CBS New York that the older brother eventually confessed to throwing Shimon off the building in Brooklyn’s East Midwood neighborhood. Charges against the older sibling, who has a history of schizophrenia, are currently pending. There are no other details regarding the horrifying events at the moment, or whether or not the poor child’s brother will sustain any charges following the death of 4-year-old Shimon Smith. Condolences go out to the entire family.

According to TMZ , Owens had no interest in taking Onika’s pity, especially considering he has so many roles lined up after his story went viral. Being that he wants to work for his, he figured that the money could still go to really good use. The $25,000 will be donated to the Actors’ Fund, a charitable organization that helps struggling actors when they are in need. The Actors’ Fund pays for the Actors’ Home which is near and dear to Geoffrey’s heart for a very valid reason: “I would like to give this donation of 25k to the Actor’s Fund in memory of the late, great Earle Hyman — who played Cosby’s father, ‘Russell’, on “The Cosby Show” — who lived his last many years and died at the Actors’ Home, (funded and run by the Actor’s Fund). According to Deadline , Halle Berry and Lena Waithe will be executive producers on a 10-episode half-hour BET Networks and Paramount Television produced series. The show will be out next year and according to Lena will be more of a “sequel” than a remake. Deadline adds that it will focus on the modern-day offspring of Halle Berry and Eddie Murphy’s characters with Ben Cory Jones working as showrunner. “I’m thrilled to team up with Lena on this project as she is without a doubt a leading voice of her generation and a trail blazer in her own right,” said Halle Berry said in a statement Monday. “I’m truly excited to be a part of bringing this iconic and beloved film to the small screen.” Lena’s also assuring fans that she and Halle “won’t f*** it up.” We won’t . https://t.co/b1Di6fkBWa — Lena Waithe (@LenaWaithe) September 24, 2018 We trust her, Lena’s yet to mess up so there’s some real potential here with this show. Robert MacPherson/AFP/Getty Images Puppet Technician For “The Lion King” Caught Making A Gun On Printer This sounds super sketchy… The 47-year-old man responsible for the puppets used in Broadway’s “The Lion King” is out of a job and potentially in some deep trouble after being caught by security printing a gun in the prop room as he was being helped to clear out his belongings. According to NY Daily News reports Ilya Vett was about to lose his job as a puppet technician for “The Lion King” and security at the Minskoff Theatre found the printer along with an incomplete gun — as they were helping him clear the room out, police sources said. Police were called to the W. 45th St. theater where a detective saw the printer “powered on, moving and in operation” Friday morning, according to a criminal complaint. A memory card was plugged into the side of the printer, and it was making an object that “has a hand grip and a pointed, snub-nosed nozzle, and in between the two features, an empty space where it is customary for a cylinder holding live rounds of ammunition to be placed,“ the complaint alleges. Vett told police he brought the 3-D printer to work “because my workshop is too dusty,” the complaint alleges. “I was making the gun as a gift to my brother,” Vett said, according to the complaint. “He lives upstate and has a firearms license…There’s a website that has plans for the gun. I downloaded the plans onto the SD card in the printer.” Vett was arraigned Saturday night on a single count of attempted criminal weapon possession and released on his own recognizance. Seized items included marijuana-laced cereal treats, brownies and pudding. Both women were arrested and face felony drug charges. Talk about lifting the Lord’s name on high. SMH.

Kimberly Thompson played the drums for Queen Bey for over 7 years and during that time she claims that Beyonce harassed her by using“extreme witchcraft, dark magic” and “magic spells of sexual molestation.” and that the allegedly star murdered her kitten. Thompson also believes Beyoncé has been taping her phones and controlling her finances and went as far as to accusing her of stealing intellectual property and computer hard drives, as well as effecting her personal relationships. Thompson’s request for a protective order was denied by Los Angeles Superior Court this week, but there is another restraining order hearing scheduled for Oct. 11.
