Now that an eagle-eyed MTV cameraman caught Big Sean and Ariana Grande holding hands and basically confirmed that they’re dating, there’s no sense hiding it. Case in point: He’s giving her a very public shout-out! The rapper took to Instagram to congratulate his girlfriend on the success of her new album My Everything, which hit stores right after the 2014 MTV VMAs . “Ari’s #1 in 80 countries! So great when good things happen to good people. I’m more than proud of you…” Sean wrote along with a photo of the album cover. Ariana and Sean have been heating up since breaking up with Jai Brooks and Naya Rivera, respectively, and working together on her song “Best Mistake.” He’s also the infamous whispering voice on “Problem.” “They have been friends since they made the song together,” a source said. “They have been spending more time together and recently have been getting very close.” The ” Bang Bang ” singer and Sean are “doing great.” The hot couple seemingly confirmed their romance Sunday during the aforementioned holding of hands, and Sean’s Instagram post erases any doubt. Here’s hoping it lasts, and she doesn’t get engaged to him, only to keep the wedding plans and marry some other guy three months after they break up! Columbus Short: Arrested! In Custody For Domestic Violence!

Columbus Short was arrested and taken into custody this morning. The actor, a wanted man since last month, showed up in a Van Nuys, Calif., courtroom. The 31-year-old has been a fugitive ever since failing to appear in court for his criminal domestic violence case, one of his several recent police run-ins. Short chose to go to Barbados instead. Big mistake. The judge issued a warrant and set bail at $40,000, upping it to half a million when he didn’t show again. When it comes to brains, he drew the Short straw. The actor finally got the message, ended his vacation, showed up to face the music and was arrested immediately. And it gets even crazier from there: He was due in court today for another case involving a bar fight … which he didn’t show up for because he was in custody in the domestic violence case. Not amused or willing to cut Short a break under the circumstances, the judge issued a second warrant for his arrest there and set bail at $250,000. His future in the legal system remains to be seen, but we can tell you this: If you watch Scandal online , you have seen the last of him on the ABC drama. Dude already got fired over this stuff. In December, a wife in Virginia learned not to make her husband choose between her and his Harley Davidson . Now, a girlfriend in Lancaster has learned a similar lesson. In a hilariously awesome Craigslist ad, an unnamed pet owner goes into detail about the problems with his purebred dog. She isn’t really trained. She yaps all night. She’s high maintenance. She can be pretty darn mean. And, as a result of all these issues, the man’s girlfriend doesn’t like the canine. So, the man asks… anyone interested in his selfish girlfriend? HA!!! We assume he’s kidding. But maybe not. There is a reason, after all, why dogs are a man’s best friend. But others succeed at apologizing to their son’s girlfriend after their security cameras caught her dry humping their child behind the sofa in the living room. Yes, this really happened to a Reddit user named “One Skinny Mexican,” who shared his story online, along with the dessert item baked by his mom and dad. Look what they wrote to his embarrassed girlfriend: The young man says that he thought he and his girlfriend were “at an angle” in which the camera would miss them, but obviously he was mistaken. “All my mom could see when she looked at the camera was my girlfriend moving back and forth,” he wrote on Reddit, describing the experience. As for why they made the cake for her, well … it beats not making a cake. “I suppose my mother just thought it would be funny to do so,” he says. She was right! And this may have been a net positive overall. In May, Ciara and Future welcomed their first child into the world, a boy named after his father. Fast forward three months, however, and the singer has called off her engagement to the rapper for one simple reason, according to Us Weekly. “He cheated on her. Game over,” an insider tells the tabloid, while another source adds of Ciara’s reaction to this infidelity: “She’s devastated. Ciara’s focus now is the baby.” Together for over a year, the couple got engaged on Ciara’s birthday in October 2013.
