According to Business Insider: Videos taken from two police cruiser dash cams were the deciding factor in dropping the case against a New Jersey man facing charges of eluding police and assault, ABC 7 reports. The incident between Bloomfield Police and 30-year-old Marcus Jeter began after officers were called to the home he shares with his girlfriend. At the time, no charges were filed and Jeter later left following a talk with officers. A short time later, police attempted to pull him over, but they alleged he tried to elude them. “When they got behind me, I pulled over,” Jeter told ABC’s Sarah Wallace. The video confirmed that was the case. Jeter can be seen in the video raising his hands above his head after being stopped, while officers aim their weapons at him and scream at him to get out of the car. Describing the incident, Jeter told ABC he was afraid he might have been shot if he got out. Later in the video, another police car joins the scene — actually smashing into the front of his vehicle. In that second dashcam video, an officer smashes the driver’s side window glass and punches him in the face while telling him to “stop resisting” and “stop trying to take my gun.” While all charges were dropped against Jeter, two officers were indicted for falsifying reports. A third pleaded guilty early on to tampering. It’s all thanks to those dashcam tapes. It’s the video that prosecutors say they never saw when they pursued criminal charges against 30 year-old Marcus Jeter . In the video, his hands were in the air. He was charged with eluding police, resisting arrest and assault. One officer in the video can be seen throwing repeated punches. When asked what would have happened by Wallace if the tape hadn’t surfaced, Jeter said, “I’d be in jail.” SMH at the police falsifying reports. ABC 7

Young Jeezy has been arrested, again. The rapper was busted outside Atlanta and booked for obstructing police officers, according to multiple reports. Jeezy was arrested in Alpharetta, Ga., after officers responded to an alarm call at his girlfriend’s home. It is not clear who or what triggered the alarm. However, Jeezy was uncooperative with officers , refusing to identify himself, and allegedly cursing them out, which led to an ugly situation and an arrest. TMZ says that when asked for his name and ID, he replied, “F–k you, I ain’t telling you.” Always ends well. Then he attempted to pull away from the handcuffs. Another traditionally smart move, without a doubt. Jeezy was arrested earlier this month for battery, false imprisonment and making terroristic threats after a blowout fight with his son, so this is not new for him. He is currently in Fulton County Jail.
Justin Bieber’s pals Lil Za and Lil Twist have been named in a battery complaint by a paparazzo who alleges that they attacked him in Miami last June. Jeffrey Binion, who’s currently suing Justin and a bodyguard, says in his deposition that he was confronted by Za, Twist and two Bieber bodyguards. The celebrity gossip photographer says he was taking pictures of Justin outside of a recording studio when Za demanded he turn over the camera. The Lil one threatened to break it, then tried to wrench it from his hand, Binion claims, over the course of a struggle that lasted 3-5 minutes overall. As for Lil Twist, Binion says he was egging Lil Za on during this. Binion also claims one of the bodyguards for Justin Bieber threatened him with a gun. Binion says he was forced to delete the Justin Bieber photos , as a bodyguard had him in a choke hold which left him injured and mentally screwed up. Bieber is scheduled to give his version in a deposition in the lawsuit next month, and he’s already asked a judge to keep his testimony under wraps. Away from the public, in other words … because the pop superstar would hate to have any bad press come out of this and hurt his squeaky clean image. Sorry, what is this, 2011? George Zimmerman may be about to leave the Sunshine State for good. George Zimmerman Leaving Florida Via NY Daily News reports: The former neighborhood watchman, who was acquitted of murder in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin last July, will be packing his bags in the coming weeks, according to TMZ. He had been facing charges for a domestic dispute reported by his girlfriend, Samantha Scheibe, on Nov. 18. She had accused him of pointing a shotgun at her and breaking her belongings. However, Zimmerman later filed a signed affidavit from Scheibe that said she didn’t want him charged with aggravated assault, battery and criminal mischief. Shortly thereafter, prosecutors said they would not pursue the charges. According to TMZ’s report, the 30-year-old has not said where he will go once he leaves Florida. Zimmerman is originally from Manassas, Va. He moved to Florida after he graduated high school, where he worked at an insurance agency for several years. Hide ya kids!
