Michael Clarke Duncan: Hospitalized After Cardiac Arrest! Saved by Omarosa!

Actor Michael Clarke Duncan was hospitalized today following a cardiac arrest, as sources confirm The Green Mile star is in stable condition. Duncan suffered a myocardial infarction early this morning, and his girlfriend Omarosa Manigault performed CPR on him around 2 a.m. The two-time Apprentice contestant was apparently able to successfully resuscitate the baritone actor upon finding him. Duncan has been nominated for an Academy Award and a Golden Globe, and most recently starred in the now-cancelled Fox show, The Finder . The show was a spin-off of the hit Fox show, Bones . We here at THG wish Duncan a full, speedy recovery. This marks the first time we’ve ever been happy Omarosa was around.

Trapper Joe LaFont, Swamp People Star, Arrested For Domestic Violence

Swamp People star Trapper Joe (real name Joseph LaFont) has been arrested for domestic violence in California, according to reports. The reality star got popped early Wednesday morning in Orange County for domestic battery. Here’s Joe’s addition to our celebrity mugshots gallery: Sources close to LaFont say he and his girlfriend had gotten into some kind of dispute. The specific details surrounding the arrest are not clear, however. Joe is currently being held on $1,500 bond , TMZ reports. Both Joe and his stepson Tommy Chauvin narrowly escaped death in a big five-car pile-up near the Arkansas-Louisiana state line back in April. His Swamp People co-star Mitchell Guist died in May.

Prepare for a firestorm of rumors that Chris Brown and Rihanna may be back together or close to it, because the two partied at the same club. At the same time. OMFG. Chris and Rihanna were spotted at Avenue nightclub in New York, where the R&B star spent some time hanging out at Rihanna’s table. The two exited the club separately , but within minutes of each other, and were both tight-lipped about anything that happened inside. Earlier that night, the controversial artist launched his first art show, a collaboration with pop artist Ron English called “Dum English.” At the event, taking place at Opera Gallery in SoHo, his girlfriend, petite model Karrueche Tran, was also at the gallery all evening. A source at the event says Tran stayed by the 23-year-old Brown’s side for much of that time and the two shared “multiple embraces.” Karrueche Tran hung on Brown’s every word as he told guests about his artwork, but did not go to the club with him, apparently. Good thing, too, because Brown could be seen “clearly admiring Rihanna from his table across the room,” according to the N.Y. Daily News . No hookups, though, at least not yet. Man Punches 10-Year-Old In The Face During Movie A Washington State moviegoer who took matters into his own hands after becoming fed up with children who were being too loud in a movie theatre has been charged with second-degree assault. The man, who says he thought the child he hit was an adult, claims to have asked the “people” behind him to quiet down while watching Titanic 3D with his girlfriend and became enraged after his request was met with laughter. “I got so mad that it just happened,” Yong Hyun Kim, 21, told police who arrested him the night of April 11 at the AMC Kent Station 14, in Kent, a south Seattle suburb. The 10-year-old lost a tooth and had a bloody nose in the confrontation. Kim spent a night in the Kent city jail and appeared April 12 in King County District Court and was released, said county prosecutor’s spokesman Dan Donohoe. Kim was charged May 16 with second-degree assault. If convicted, he could be sentenced to three to nine months in jail, Donohoe said Tuesday. Last time we checked, most 10-year old boys didn’t look like adults……even in dark movie theaters. Source

San Antonio Spurs Playoff Series Apparently there was a drunken brouhaha during last night’s Western Conference Finals game between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs when an overzealous Thunder fan decided to do some early celebrating. In the day and age of everyone having a video camera on their phone we are able catch what the TV cameras did not air. Here is what an eyewitness to the story had to say. According to BlackSportsOnline : “OKC fan was waving a KD jersey in the air right before the 4th quarter when a drunk Spurs fan from a row behind us walked down and grabbed it, then threw it. OKC fans obviously was pissed so he walked up and punched Spurs fan. OKC’s girlfriend got involved. Spurs fan hit the girlfriend and choked her. Cops came. Meanwhile, another Spurs fan sucker punched OKC fan. OKC’s girlfriend jumped on Spurs fan. Spurs fan No. 2′s mom then whaled on OKC’s girlfriend in the blue with Louis bag on her shoulder the whole time. Former Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon is now a married woman. The actress exchanged vows over the weekend with Christine Marinoni, the woman to whom she got engaged three years ago during a rally to support same-sex marriage in New York. A bill allowing for just that was passed in the summer of 2011. Confirms Nixon’s rep to People : “On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera.” Nixon – who has two children from a previous relationship and one with Marinoni, an education activist – created a stir earlier this year when she said homosexuality is a choice .
