Former Sex and the City star Cynthia Nixon is now a married woman. The actress exchanged vows over the weekend with Christine Marinoni, the woman to whom she got engaged three years ago during a rally to support same-sex marriage in New York. A bill allowing for just that was passed in the summer of 2011. Confirms Nixon’s rep to People : “On May 27, 2012, Cynthia Nixon and her girlfriend, Christine Marinoni, were legally married in the state of New York. Nixon wore a custom dress by Carolina Herrera.” Nixon – who has two children from a previous relationship and one with Marinoni, an education activist – created a stir earlier this year when she said homosexuality is a choice . Not only is he now worth a cool $19 billion after the Facebook IPO , but he also got hitched to long-time girlfriend, Dr. Priscilla Chan, in an intimate wedding on Saturday. Of course, the announcement became official when Zuckerberg changed his Facebook status to “married” and uploaded a wedding picture of the young couple. Facebook became a public company on Friday in the second largest IPO in financial history , with shares selling at $38 each. If that wasn’t enough pressure for a week, Zuckerberg took the big plunge when he swapped out his signature hoodie and jeans for a dark blue suit and tie for his surprise nuptials with Priscilla Chan, his girlfriend of nine years. The couple met at Harvard, when Zuckerberg was still developing his infamous social network, and have been an item ever since. Despite Zuckerberg’s rockstar status with fans and users alike, the technology mogul has led a significantly low-key life. His weekend ceremony included approximately 100 guests, including family and friends, none of whom had any idea they were attending a wedding. They were invited under the pretense of a graduation party for Chan, who also had an eventful week after graduating from medical school. Once everyone had gathered, it was announced the couple was finally tying the knot. According to reports, Zuckerberg designed a simple ruby ring for his lady love, who looked elegant and chic in a vintage-inspired lace gown. Guests dined on the couple’s favorite foods, including mouse-shaped chocolates — a treat the couple shared on their first date. Amber Portwood has been released from jail. She got sprung yesterday. The troubled Teen Mom star was placed back behind bars last week after violating the terms of her probation by failing to appear in an Indiana court. The 22-year-old allegedly lied about a medical condition to get out of a drug test. Her probation officer called the bluff, asking her doctor directly. Some very sleepy-eyed Amber Portwood mug shots soon followed. How’s the reality star feeling now that she’s back on the other side? “OK,” Amber told E! News. “Just hustling. I’ve got a lot on my plate.” Naturally. According to her brother, Shawn Portwood, Amber’s “new goal is to join the military.” Yes, apparently he’s serious. “She was going to work hard to get her charge reduced,” added Shawn. “She’s been doing so well.” The Teen Mom trailer would suggest otherwise, but here’s hoping.

Naturally, Kris Jenner has already spoken out against rumors that Kourtney kicked out baby daddy Scott Disick and that E! cameras caught the blowup for an upcoming Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode. “None of it is true,” Kris tells E! News of talk that Disick is actually hiding sex tapes from his girlfriend and skipped out on her baby shower May 12 because the couple was fighting. One thing is for certain: we’ll be hearing a lot more about this when season seven of this scripted series premieres on Sunday. Another thing is also for certain: if you care one iota, you need to take a very long look in the mirror.
