Joe Francis has just been sentenced to jail for assault on a woman. According to TMZ, Francis will serve at least 270 days behind bars. The Girls Gone Wild honcho was also sentenced to 36 months probation and has been ordered to complete a Level 3 Anger Management course. He must also attend weekly psychological counseling for a year. The judge expressed real concern with Joe’s explosive temper, which was on full display in the assault and false imprisonment that got him convicted. He was cuffed and booked. Bail will be set at $250,000. This saga all started when three women accused Joe of taking them to his Hollywood home after a night out in 2011 and refusing to let them leave. He was also accused of attacking one of them, choke-slamming her head into the floor. That led to criminal charges, and a jury found him guilty. Francis was convicted on five charges, including assault, three counts of false imprisonment, and one count of dissuading a witness from reporting. Joe said the jury is f–king retarded . Quote-unquote. As recently as this summer, he filed documents asking for a new trial based on allegations of insufficient evidence. Clearly the judge was not swayed. Enjoy, Joe.
Remember those missing teens we gave the “Black Girl Missing Alert” about last week… have been found safe and sound: Two teenage girls reported missing for just over a week were found safe Saturday in San Antonio, according to the Harris County Sheriff’s Department. Liana Andrews, 16, and Kacie Watson, 14, had been missing since Aug. 16 when the two took one of their parents’ cars and never returned. The San Antonio Police Department found both girls Saturday in the downtown district, deputies said. The girls have been reunited with their families and are back home. According to the teens’ families, Andrew’s grandmother was watching the pair the night day they vanished. After the grandmother went to sleep, the girls took off in a car. Andrews sent a message to her grandmother that said they would be back home on Saturday, Aug. 17, around 1:30 p.m., but the pair never showed up. The car, a 2001 Gold Chrysler Sebring, was later found days later abandoned in downtown San Antonio near the courthouse with some of their personal belongings still in it. The families believed the girls went to see a man they met online so police considered them runaways. Kaitlyn Hunt, the gay Florida teenager accused of having sex with an underage classmate, has been arrested for a second time, according to reports. In February, Hunt, 19, was expelled from school and charged with two counts of lewd and lascivious battery for having sex with her girlfriend, then 14. Hunt was 18 at the time their sexual relationship first came to light. Although Kaitlyn Hunt maintains that the sex was consensual, the State of Florida considers intercourse with a person under 16 to be a felony offense. That led to her first arrest. But what got her in trouble again ?? Under of a pretrial court order, Hunt was forbidden from contacting the victim. On August 9, she was offered a plea deal to lesser, nonsexual charges. That offer has been withdrawn, however, following allegations that Hunt repeatedly met with the victim and sent sexually explicit photos via the Internet. Prosecutors also said that Hunt’s mother, Kelley Hunt Smith, has communicated with the victim, and urged her to delete texts exchanged with Kaitlyn.
