Wentworth Miller Announces He Is Gay According to TMZ “Prison Break” star Wentworth Miller has just revealed he’s a gay man … in a statement that reads as a giant “F YOU” to Russia. The 41-year-old actor fired off a letter to the director of the St. Petersburg International Film Festival — rejecting its invitation for him to travel to the Motherland for the event … and in the letter, WM went public about his sexuality for the first time. “Thank you for your kind invitation. As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes. However, as a gay man, I must decline.” Miller continues … “I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government.” “The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly.” He added, “If circumstances improve, I’ll be free to make a different choice.” We know some people aren’t surprised that he likes the man meat. Dan Anderson has some potentially devastating news for fans of a classic dessert. The Queensbury, New York math teacher asked his students this week to measure the composition of Oreo Double Stuf Cookies in order to test the validity of their name… and the results are anything but encouraging. Following some intense weighing and serious measuring, the high schoolers concluded that the cookies only contain 1.86 times as much filling as a basic Oreo. And while that’s close to double, this isn’t horseshoes or hand grenades, people. The advertised Stuf simply does not measure up. Double Stuf Oreos Controversy And while Anderson’s classroom findings are disputed by, Mondelez International – the snack brand’s parent company – this is eerily reminiscent of a study in January that determined a foot-long Subway sandwich is actually NOT a foot long . Wentworth Miller Comes Out as Gay, Refuses Trip to Russia

Former Prison Break star Wentworth Miller has broken some very personal news about himself: He’s gay. The actor made this public reveal while simultaneously taken a stance against Russia’s anti-homosexual legislation , which bans any sort of “propaganda of nontraditional sexual relations.” In response to an invitation to attend the St. Petersburg International Film Festival, Miller wrote a letter that has been posted on the GLADD website and which reads: “Thank you for your kind invitation. As someone who has enjoyed visiting Russia in the past and can also claim a degree of Russian ancestry, it would make me happy to say yes. However, as a gay man, I must decline.” He continued: “I am deeply troubled by the current attitude toward and treatment of gay men and women by the Russian government. The situation is in no way acceptable, and I cannot in good conscience participate in a celebratory occasion hosted by a country where people like myself are being systematically denied their basic right to live and love openly. “If circumstances improve, I’ll be free to make a different choice.” The anti-gay law in Russia is creating a number of issues for that country, which is preparing to host the Winter Olympics. Earlier this month, a Russian reporter came out on air… and was promptly fired. And earlier this week, two Russian females kissed on the medal stand of the World Athletics Championships, seemingly sending a message to their government.

Keke doing big things. Keke Palmer To Star In “Animal” Keke will be coming for Halle Berry’s spot next. Now that Halle’s married with a baby on the way, it’s the perfect time for Keke to take the throne. According to The Hollywood Reporter Horror cable network Chiller has set the ensemble cast for the Drew Barrymore-produced movie, Animal. Produced by Flower Films, Keke Palmer (Joyful Noise) will topline the original feature, currently in production in Manchester, Conn., The Hollywood Reporter has learned exclusively. Animal follows a group of close-knit friends who find themselves stranded in unfamiliar territory, pursued by a blood-thirsty predator. Holed up in isolated cabin, tensions mount as secrets are revealed. As the body count rises, the group puts their differences aside and fights for survival. Eve (Barbershop), Amaury Nolasco (Prison Break), Parker Young (Enlisted), Joey Lauren Adams (Chasing Amy), Elizabeth Gillies (Victorious), Paul Iacono (The Hard Times of R.J. Berger), Thorsten Kaye (Smash) and Jeremy Sumpter (Friday Night Lights) have also joined the cast. Animal will receive a limited release in theaters and will be available on-demand in 2014 before debuting on Chiller. Barrymore is an executive producer alongside Nancy Juvonen, and producers Chris Miller, Ember Truesdell, Kelly Smith and Thommy Hutson. Hutson and Catherine Trillo penned the script and is directed by Brett Simmons. Gary J. Tunnicliffe created the creature effects. Will you be tuned in?

Bobby Brown Pleads Out DUI Arrest

Bobby Brown has reached a deal with prosecutors that will keep the singer out of jail. As first reported by TMZ, Brown pleaded “no contest” today to one charge of driving with a blood alcohol content over .08, stemming from an incident in late March when cops pulled him over for driving erratically. In exchange, attorneys dropped the DUI count and Brown was sentenced to 36 months of probation and one day he’s already served in county prison. The artist has been in the news far more than anyone would like since the tragic death of his ex-wife, Whitney Houston. Brown made the wrong kind of headlines for leaving her funeral early, and insiders claim he’s considering a memoir about his marriage to the legend.

Lane Garrison: Cleared in Domestic Violence Probe

Lane Garrison has dodged a legal bullet and won’t be charged for allegedly slapping his ex-girlfriend, Playboy Playmate Ashley Mattingly, according to reports. Garrison was arrested last weekend after an altercation with Mattingly in the lobby of her apartment complex in Beverly Hills, and he remains in jail. The former Prison Break star isn’t eligible for bail because he’s still on parole for vehicular manslaughter, which was supposed to end this Saturday. Right now, it looks like he’ll soon be in the clear on all accounts. Lane Garrison Slaps Ashley Mattingly “The District Attorney has decided not to charge Lane because they didn’t have sufficient evidence to prove that he hit Ashley,” said a police source. Even though the entire incident was caught on surveillance video , Lane gave an exhaustive interview to detectives and denied ever hitting Ashley. “Lane contends that he never hit Ashley, it’s just not who he is,” said the source, adding that he was simply trying to get his phone away from her. If you watch the tape closely, Lane’s explanation is plausible, and he was apparently very convincing during long sit-downs with police detectives. For his future, that’s a very good thing.
