People REALLY ain’t isht tho… Police Searching For Men Who Killed 3 In Halloween Hit-And-Run Via NYDailyNews Authorities searched Saturday for the driver and passenger of an SUV who fled the scene after the vehicle struck three teenage girls who were out for a night of trick-or-treating in Southern California. Witnesses said the black Honda was abandoned a short distance from the Santa Ana crosswalk where the 13-year-old girls were hit. On Saturday investigators tracked the SUV to the address where it was registered, but the owner has since moved, Santa Ana police spokesman Anthony Bertagna said. “At this point, we don’t know where the registered owner lives,” Bertagna said. A witness told the Los Angeles Times the girls were wearing costumes with black leggings and dark clothing when they were hit in a crosswalk near an elementary school about 6:45 p.m. Friday. Two of them were declared dead immediately, and a third died as paramedics prepared to take her to a hospital, Orange County fire Capt. Steve Concialdi said. The twin sisters were Lexi and Lexandra Perez, and the third victim was Andrea Gonzalez, the Orange County Sheriff’s Department said. The front of the vehicle was heavily damaged, Bertagna said. Authorities are seeking video-surveillance footage from nearby property owners while interviewing witnesses. Investigators also collected evidence from the SUV, including fingerprints and DNA samples, he said. “It was Halloween. There were a lot of people out there,” Bertagna said. “These guys fled this car. Did they call somebody to pick them up? Did they live in the neighborhood? Reality TV and controversial, OMG moments go hand in hand. They’re the primary reason you watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online (for example). In the early days, though, such moments weren’t nearly as common or explosive. The Real World has nothing on some of the scandals of modern times. Lately, it seems like we’re dealt one jaw-dropping reveal, moment or conflict after another. So many it’s almost become a struggle to keep up with them all. Don’t expect an end to the madness anytime soon. Despite what its title implies, you don’t watch Bad Girls Club : Redemption for the actual redemption, but for the bad girls clubbing each other. Just saying. As long as producers and network executives believe that scandals equal ratings, awful behavior will continue to be the norm, rather than the exception. Even if they don’t create drama on camera, the types of personalities likely to land shows in a more and more absurd TV landscape are likely loose cannons. But the global chain has come out and said it’s very sorry for offering Halloween costumes to “Fat Girls.” Earlier today, online customers were aghast to see the retailer labeled a section of its adult plus-size Halloween outfits as “Fat Girl Costumes.” An influx of negative responses turned “Fat Girl Costumes” into a trending topic on Twitter, with one user summing up everyone’s feelings thusly: “Walmart took it to another level today with their ‘fat girl costumes’ section on their website. Disappointed and flabbergasted.” In response to the controversy, a spokesperson for Walmart has issues the following statement: This never should have been on our site. It is unacceptable, and we apologize.
