Meryl Streep, who was among last night’s Golden Globe Award winners , and Helen Mirren continue to prove beyond a doubt that women can age gracefully, and stylishly. You don’t see many women Mirren’s age sporting cleavage, but she pulls it off and then some. As for Streep, has she ever looked anything but fashionable and classy? Streep, 62, may win an Oscar as well for The Iron Lady . Mirren, 66, won one for The Queen . Who wins a Fashion Face-Off between them, though? You decide below!

Salma Hayek and Madonna both gave new meaning to the term “Golden Globes” last night, donning outfits that accentuated their impressive bosoms. First, Hayek appeared on stage to present an award alongside Antonio Banderas. We have no idea what it was for. Our attention was elsewhere. Then, Madonna actually won a trophy for “Masterpiece,” her original song from W.E. Again, we assume that was the case. We were focused on the breasts trying to escape from this singer’s dress. Angelina Jolie didn’t take home any trophies, but she was instantly a winner at the Golden Globes in Los Angeles, thanks to her one-shoulder Atelier Versace gown. The shoulder-baring piece showcased the mother of six’s many tattoos. Kate Winslet, meanwhile, opted for a satin cream / black contrasting dress by UK designer Jenny Packham. She won the Best Actress in a Made-for-TV Movie / Mini-Series Award for starring in HBO’s Mildred Pierce … but can she best Angie in a style showdown? Ricky Gervais zinged Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber . George Clooney mocked Brad Pitt and joked that Michael Fassbender has a large penis. Michelle Williams made us tear up via a gracious speech that focused on her daughter. That includes two actresses who happen to be sisters! Bones’ Emily Deschanel, dressed in blue, looks great for having given birth to her first child recently. Her younger sibling, New Girl star Zooey Deschanel, is a newly-single girl, but we don’t imagine that will last long. Major cutie alert! Happy Birthday, Martin Luther King, Jr.!

The 83rd birthday of Martin Luther King, Jr., was actually yesterday. But in honor of one of American’s greatest heroes, a national holiday commemorates it today. The clergyman, activist, and civil rights leader became an iconic figure in the 1960s for embracing nonviolent methods to bring about sweeping social reforms. King’s efforts in the American civil rights movements culminated in the 1963 March on Washington, where he delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech (below). Martin Luther King Jr. “I Have a Dream” Speech One of the most stirring orators in U.S. history, King personified the movement to expand American values to include a vision of an egalitarian, color blind society. In 1964, MLK became the youngest person to receive the Nobel Peace Prize for his work to end racial segregation and racial discrimination in the U.S. By the time of his death in 1968, at the age of 39, he had refocused his efforts on an even broader scale, seeking to end poverty and the Vietnam War. Happy birthday to a true giant among men!

David Furnish on Madonna Golden Globe Win: F–k Off!

Elton John’s husband David Furnish is PISSED that “Masterpiece” singer Madonna was among 2012’s Golden Globe Award winners with the Best Original Song. Furnish called Madonna’s acceptance speech “embarrassing in its narcissism.” Just moments after she won the statue, Furnish went to his Facebook page and WENT OFF on the Material Girl, writing, “Madonna. Best song???? F**k off!!!” Madonna Golden Globe Acceptance Speech Elton John, who was nominated for a song from Gnomeo & Juliet , did not look happy when Madonna’s name was announced, but he has not commented. Furnish, however, did not hold back in letting Madonna, who won for a song from W.E. , have it, referencing her recent quasi-feud with another singer. “Madonna winning Best Original Song truly shows these awards have nothing to do with merit,” he said. “Her acceptance speech was embarrassing in it’s narcissism. And her criticism of Gaga shows how desperate she really is.” In related news, Madonna’s cleavage was off the hook last night.

Yay! Our boo Drisy won him a Golden Globe!!! This year had to be one of our favorite Golden Globes. Not only did our favorite man banger pick up an award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television for his role on “Luther” but our girl Octavia Spencer also won for Best Performance by an Actress In A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for The Help . Morgan Freeman also picked up the Cecil B. DeMille for his lifetime body of work — definitely well deserved. We were a bit disappointed that Mary J. Blige missed out on winning Best Original Song for “Living Proof” the jawn she did for The Help . Madonna picked up that one instead, but we’re gonna post the video for “Living Proof” cuz we think it’s the perfect tribute for our Golden Globe winners anyway.
