And Then Michael Douglas Photobombed Angelina Jolie and Catherine Zeta-Jones

Michael Douglas was the “surprise” presenter of the Golden Globe for Best Drama on Sunday night (surprise in quotes because, um, he was nominated and in attendance), which was nice to see, especially in light of his recent battle with cancer. How did Douglas celebrate his return to the public eye? By photobombing his wife at a Golden Globes after party, of course! Click ahead to see Douglas’ impish delight behind Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angelina Jolie.

If We Have to Have Red Carpets, Can We at Least Have More Alexa Chung?

People who care about fashion — and even plenty of those who don’t — usually tune in early to the awards shows to catch the red-carpet pregame, a scary ritual historically hosted by puppets. Celebrities may think they can scurry past the likes of Carson Daly and Natalie Morales as they make a mad dash for the rubber chicken, but they’re fooling themselves: These overdressed, glassy-eyed semi-personalities have an important job to do, which is to corner said celebrities and assault them with the pressing questions of the day, which consist chiefly of “How are you feeling tonight?” and “Who are you wearing?” But last night’s Golden Globe Arrival Special — even the name sounds molded out of plastic — was different. Daly and Morales did everything expected of them: They flapped their mouths and sounds came out. But who was that third mysterious creature, a brunette minx in a messy, slept-in bun and a simple red chiffon dress with a bow neck that caused one Twitter user to exclaim, somewhat ungrammatically but nevertheless enthusiastically, “My sex is on fire in her grandma dress”?

Diddy Looking For Comedies After ‘Get Him To The Greek’

‘I really fell in love with making people laugh,’ he says at Golden Globes. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Diddy Photo: MTV News While his turn as a hilariously foul-mouthed record executive in “Get Him to the Greek” didn’t earn Diddy a Golden Globe nomination, there’s no doubting that the multitalented star delivered one of the year’s most satisfying — and surprising — scene-stealing comedic performances. Who knew the guy was so freaking funny? Well, his co-stars certainly did. “We were saying Diddy’s kind of the McLovin of ‘Get Him to the Greek,’ ” Jonah Hill told MTV News before the film’s release. “You don’t know what he’s going to do. Every time he breathes in the movie, it garners a huge laugh.” Hollywood comedy guru Judd Apatow , who produced the flick, said, “He was riotously funny. As a man with one skill, I was annoyed that he was also funny. You shouldn’t be allowed to be good at so many things.” Hill and Apatow weren’t kidding. And as it turned out, moviegoers weren’t the only ones digging Diddy’s comedic stylings: Diddy himself was a pretty big fan too. That’s why he’ll be looking to find his way into more laughers in the future. “I’ve done a lot of drama mostly my whole career, with Broadway and ‘Monster’s Ball’ and stuff like that — my short little career. But when I did ‘Get Him to the Greek,’ I really fell in love with making people laugh,” he told us on the red carpet at the Golden Globes on Sunday (January 16). “I have a knack for improvisation, and hopefully I’ll be able to make people laugh more.” We’ve got the Golden Globes covered! Ryan Gosling Had ‘No Nerves’ Going Into The Golden Globes

‘We were in no danger of winning,’ the ‘Blue Valentine’ star tells MTV News of his Best Actor in a Drama loss. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Ryan Gosling Photo: David Livingston/ Getty Images The last few interactions MTV News has had with Ryan Gosling have been interesting, to say the least. Going back to January 2010, when we first had the opportunity to sit down with him and “Blue Valentine” co-star Michelle Williams, what should have been a serious conversation about a serious movie ended up introducing us to a new term: “cranking.” “It’s when you cry while you masturbate,” Gosling explained at the time. Now, ever since that fateful interview, it’s become a running joke, and we bring it up every time we encounter the Golden Globe-nominated actor. Case in point, the Weinstein Golden Globes afterparty, where we asked Gosling if he would be dealing with his loss in the Best Actor category to “King’s Speech” star Colin Firth by cranking. Gosling scoffed at that suggestion and insisted he has never cranked. “I never did crank,” he said. “I know you think that I did, but I didn’t.” Fair enough, Ryan. So in all seriousness, how did he handle the pressure of being nominated and then not winning? “We were in no danger of winning,” Gosling said. “So there were no nerves, no speeches to plan. Just [going] to have a nice night. I had a nice time — did you?” Gosling asked of “Valentine” writer/director Derek Cianfrance. “I had a very nice night, yes,” Cianfrance responded. “There was nice cucumber sandwiches on white bread. Little rectangles, finger sandwiches, I think. That was a good time.” “There was a menu,” Gosling added. “But no evidence of what was on that menu ever appeared.” We’ve got the Golden Globes covered! Mila Kunis Gives Me Sexy Looks

Obviously most of you already know that the Golden Globe Awards were held last night, I tried to watch, but half a dozen Gin & Tonics and a long ass awards show don’t seem to play well together. Mila Kunis was there and she decided to look pretty damn awesome for me. Here she is in her sexy evening gown giving me bedroom eyes because she knew I was going to get these pictures, you tease, people are watching. Anyhow, I love her and it’s too bad she didn’t win for that swan movie that nobody saw. Enjoy.

Amanda Oswald Denies Brett Favre Harassment

Amanda Oswald, the mystery masseuse who Brett Favre hit on in 2008, says she won’t be pursuing a case against the man. Simply put, he did nothing wrong. Aside from propositioning a masseuse while married, that is. Jenn Sterger may tell a different story, but Oswald says Favre deals with sext rejection well knows just when to back off when his audibles go awry. At least one of Favre’s “targeted receivers” isn’t resentful . Amanda Oswald was hired by the New York Jets to work on Brett for a day in 2008, after which he sent a text message soliciting her for a sexual encounter. Oswald says unlike two other two Brett Favre accusers – both masseuses who worked on Jets players on the day she was contracted – she is letting it go. She won’t pursue a case because she doesn’t feel Brett violated her. Oswald explains that after Favre sent the text asking for a private session with “bad intentions,” Oswald replied that she wasn’t game for anything sexual. She says Favre replied, “OK” … and never pursued her further. No tawdry video requests , photos of his wang sent to her, nothing. What a class act. “I do believe it was inappropriate … I can’t say I was harassed,” she says. Oswald has not worked for the Jets since the day of the text incident … but she tells us she’s not opposed to taking another gig with the team it asked.
