Kate Gosselin is TAKING IT to ex-husband Jon in a new blog post regarding his recent remarks to Oprah Winfrey about their children’s development. Her rebuttal to Jon’s interview is titled simply, “My Response.” And by reading it, it’s clearer than ever that these two are not on the same page . At all. Kate Gosselin Responds to Jon’s Comments About Kids Kate Gosselin, 38, said she found it “very heartbreaking” that her ex, 36, chose such a public forum, like TV, to discuss the progress of their children. “Because he has spoken negatively about our children, I feel I owe it to them to respond on their behalf,” she said, and went on to offer a different view. “These opinions are, in reality, value judgments made about our children and they’re based upon his limited visits with our children,” she wrote. “Each and every one of our children has met and continues to exceed all physical, mental and emotional developmental milestones throughout their lives.” Jon and Kate are parents to twins Cara and Mady, 13, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel, 9. The couple split in 2009. Speaking to Oprah, Jon pointed to children’s behavior as cause for concern, saying that “they have trust funds, and they’re taken care of educationally. Great.” “But developmentally, they have problems with their peers,” he said, blaming the effects of reality TV, “and they have problems with talking to other people.” Kate Gosselin had some strong words in response to that as well. “It’s also very normal in a family, especially a large family, to have a full range of personalities, abilities, talents, hobbies and struggles,” she added. “However, anyone who has personally met our children all [say] they are the most normal, pleasant, polite, loving and well adjusted children they have ever met.” Kate closed out her note by saying she wrote it so if their kids ever learned of these “untrue and hurtful statements,” they know their mom had their back: “I want to be able to point them to this statement so that they know that I publicly set the record 100% straight on this one, for their sake.” Choose your side : Team Jon!
