DMX: Released From Prison After One Year Behind Bars!

Stop, drop, pick up your belongings and show these papers to the officer at the front gate. Yes folks, it’s been almost one full year since DMX reported to prison to begin serving time on tax evasion charges. (You may recall that he memorably played one of his songs for the sentencing judge before being sent upstate.) And today, the canine rapper is once again a free man. Yes, X was released from prison today after serving 10 months of a one year sentence. (He was denied bail prior to his sentence, and thus, spent most of the past year behind bars.) The rapper was convicted of failing to pay taxes on $2.3 million in earnings. It may seem foolish to try and bilk Uncle Sam when you’ve been raking in seven figures for decades, but it’s important to remember that DMX has 15 kids to support . And in this case, the time inside may have been a blessing in disguise. DMX suffered an overdose that nearly claimed his life in 2016. The rapper says despite the obvious risk to his health, he continued using in the wake of his brush with death. He told the judge in his case that his decision to commit tax fraud was the result of his substance abuse. “I was in a cloud. I was in a cloud. I wasn’t thinking straight,” an emotional X (real name Earl Simmons) said in court. So what does the 48 father of 15 (?!?!?!) plan to do now that he’s a free man? Well, it seems Simmons’ first order of business is court-ordered outpatient addiction counseling. Beyond that, he says he’d like to release another album and take a second shot at reality TV stardom. Specifically, he says he wants to make a second appearance on Iyanla Vanzant’s Fix My Life . X famously stormed off set and told the life coach to “shut the f-ck” up during his first appearance on the show. But these days, Simmons says he’s a changed man and would like the opportunity to prove he’s open to taking advice. Hey, we’re all about comeback stories. And when it comes to second chance, X, we’re gon give it to ya.

Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet: 90 Day Fiance Couple Welcomes First Child!!!

Our heads are still spinning from Season 6, and 90 Day Fiance has been renewed for its seventh season . But if you remember Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet from Seasn 5, we have some exciting news. The couple has welcomed their first child! In a statement to E! News , Elizabeth Potthast and Andrei Castravet announced the happy news. “We are so blessed to finally meet our baby girl, Eleanor Louise!” the statement begins. The couple continues with the specifics: “We welcomed her on January 23rd at 6:13 a.m.” So precious baby Eleanor was born on Wednesday morning. Then, of course, comes the stats. The statement reveals that Eleanor was born “weighing in at 6-lbs. 11-oz.” That may sound like a small weight if you come from a family of tall people, but that is well within the “average” range of baby weights. “This is such joyful and amazing moment for us,” the joyous statement continues. The couple gushes: “We have never felt this rewarded in our lives.” Awww! That is so sweet. “And,” the statement reads. “We are looking forward to our bright future as a family of three.” Little Eleanor is, as we mentioned, their first child. “Thank you so much to our fans,” the couple concludes. “For their continued support and love during our journey.” Elizabeth and Andrei appeared on 90 Day Fiance ‘s fifth season. As you may recall, Elizabeth had met Andrei while abroad. Still, her family had concerns. Andrei is Moldovan, as referenced in Elizabeth’s hilarious shirt above. She herself acknowledged that he had certain archaic views of gender roles within marriage. He came from a culture in which he expected to make the decisions. Her loved ones didn’t love hearing that. But it all worked out. Elizabeth and Andrei just celebrated their “meetaversary” on January 15. “3 years ago today this wonderful man and I met in Dublin for the first time,” Elizabeth wrote on Instagram. “Then,” she continued. “The rest was history……” It certianly was. Three years after first laying eyes upon each other, these two are married parents. That’s quite a glow up! 90 Day Fiance is an extremely popular reality series that regularly dominates its timeslot. Casting is perhaps the biggest key to the show’s success, and there’s more to it than simply finding the worst couples on the planet. For every Colt and Larissa, you need a couple with a few relationship hiccups — a couple for whom fans can really, truly root. Elizabeth and Andrei didn’t have irreconcilable difference, just differences. Congratulations are in order on the birth of their first child. Fatima Ali Dies; Top Chef Star Was 29

Sad news out of the food world today, as beloved Top Chef star Fatima Ali has passed away at the age of 29. Ali had been battling Ewing Sarcoma, a rare type of bone cancer, since 2017. News of Chef Fatima’s passing was confirmed today by the Bravo network. “We are deeply saddened to share the news that Fatima Ali has lost her courageous battle with cancer,” said a representative. “Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this time. “People not only fell in love with her cooking, but fell in love with her personality and heart. We hope that the beautiful memories shared with her will provide comfort to everyone who knew and loved her.” Ali underwent surgery to remove a tumor last year, and she told People magazine that she was “technically cancer-free” while attending the Food & Wine Classic in Aspen last July. Ali seemed to suspect that her battle was far from over, and sadly, she was right. In October of 2018, Ali revealed that her cancer had returned with a vengeance in a heartbreaking article for Bon Appetit . “The cancer cells my doctors believed had vanished are back with a vengeance in my left hip and femur bone,” Fatima wrote, adding that doctors had given her “a year to live, with or without the new chemotherapy regimen.” She opted out of the chemo and instead devoted her final months to experiencing as much of life as she possibly could in the short time she had remaining. “I am desperate to overload my senses in the coming months, making reservations at the world’s best restaurants, reaching out to past lovers and friends, and smothering my family, giving them the time that I so selfishly guarded before,” Ali wrote. “I was looking forward to being 30, flirty, and thriving. Guess I have to step it up on the flirting. I have no time to lose.” A favorite among fans and colleagues on Top Chef , Ali received an outpouring of support from her co-stars after revealing her diagnosis, and now, past and current contestants are paying loving tribute to an incredible talent who was taken much too soon. “It’s with a heavy heart we say goodbye to Fatima Ali today, as she has lost her battle with cancer. I will miss you Fati, and you will be in my heart forever,” fellow chef Bruce Kalman wrote along with the above photo. “I’ll always remember the great times we had, especially our interview during the tailgating episode discussing football, stadiums, and Taylor Swift. Much love, Bruce.” Our thoughts go out to Chef Fatima’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time She will be greatly missed by many.

Kim Porter: Cause of Death Revealed

Just over two months since her shocking death, we now know why Kim Porter passed away . The model, actress and ex-girlfriend of Sean “Diddy” Combs died of lobar pneumonia, the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner announced on Friday. The manner of death has been certified as natural. Porter shared three children with the music mogual and remained a very close part of his life, long after the pair split up as a couple. Porter had only just wished Diddy as happy birthday days before she suddenly died. For those wondering, meanwhile… “Lobar pneumonia (pneumonia) is an infection of the lung caused by bacteria,” the official report reads, explaining further: “Immune cells invade the air spaces (where oxygen is taken in), and this is accompanied with necrosis (death of cells). Pneumonia decreases the lungs ability to take in oxygen, and over time it can cause sudden death.” According to this same report, Porter went to the doctor days before she died with “cold/flu-like symptoms.” A nurse also visited her home and gave her “saline solution with vitamins.” An autopsy was completed on Porter a day after she was found dead in her home on November 15. However, her death certificate previously stated her cause of death as “deferred” and the manner of death as “pending investigation.” The toxicology report says there were no narcotic drugs or alcohol in her system. She was 47 years old. Porter was buried in her hometown of Columbus, Georgia on November 24. In audio made public from Diddy’s moving eulogy , the rapper opened up about his relationship with Porter and vowed to keep her memory alive forever. “I just want to say to my kids, Justin, Christian, D’Lila, Jessie, Chance and the other man in the house, Quincy: Your mother instilled in me this, and I pledge in front of everybody right now that I will always be there for you,” he said, adding: I will always take care of you. Diddy and Porter broke up for good way back in 2007. But they remained on such close terms over the years that they never even agreed to a formal custody arrangement. They were vital parts of each other’s lives up until the day Kim died. Quipped Diddy in his eulogy: “To the girls especially, we about to enter some different type of times. I want you to be able to talk to me about everything, and I mean everything, and I mean everything.” He continued later on: “Kim, we gonna miss you so much. But I ain’t gonna miss you too much because I’m not gonna let your voice inside of me stop talking. “I know you like to talk to me a lot once you get on those rants, and I just want you to know I’m gonna be listening.” And he concluded: “As time went on, our relationship took so many different changes, from being boyfriend and girlfriend to being lovers to being best friends to being just straight-up homies, like somebody that you know you can count on. “We just love y’all, we appreciate y’all, appreciate the family. To all the words that I’m forgetting, to anything I’m forgetting to say, we love you, Kim.”

The Game Raps About How Kim Kardashian Swallowed His Kids

Yeezus Christ, you guys. The Game just went there. By which we mean the following: The Game just rapped in explicit, graphic, almost abusive detail about all the ways in which he used to have sex with Kim Kardashian. At a listening party on Thursday night, the artist debuted an untitled song in which she delved deeply into his history with Mrs. Kanye West… … by talking all about how she used to take him deep. In her mouth, we mean. “I held Kim Kardashian by the throat, n-gga,” he says at one point, according to a party attendee who recorded snippets of this track on video. “I made her swallow my kids until she choked, n-gga,” he actually says at another point. To those of you who aren’t sure what this second line means, well… ask your friends or go use Google or something. Following these ridiculously intimate lines about Kardashian, The Game acknowledges her husband on the song and raps “I should apologize cause Ye my folks, n-gga.” Even if he were serious, it somehow seems here like The Game is way past the point of an apology here. We doubt Kanye would accept. This isn’t the first time the musician has used his past with Kim and/or her sisters to garner headlines, either. He rapped that he “ f-cked three Kardashians ” in his song “Sauce” and then told Wendy Williams during an appearance on her talk show: “You know what, this is what I’ll say. I’ll tell you this. Kanye is a really good friend of mine. “And they got really, really beautiful kids, and I don’t want to disrespect their family.” Again, dude: We’re pretty sure it’s way too late for that. (For the record, meanwhile, The Game clarified to Williams that he had slept with Kim and Khloe and Blac Chyna , saying this back when the latter was expecting Rob Kardashian’s baby.) Last year, Kanye went off on Drake via Twitter merely because that artist followed his wife on Instagram.’ West was simply aghast over this fact. “I never knew till this morning that Drake followed my wife on Instagram back in September,” he wrote in the a since-deleted tweet, adding at the time: “Imagine having a problem with somebody and they follow your wife on Instagram.” That is hard to imagine. Even harder to imagine? How we’d react if a fellow rapper described to the world how he used to give it to our now-wife in various ways. Like, REALLY give it to our wife, you know? Caleb Williams: Did Jana Duggar’s Alleged Ex Impregnate Rape Victim?

This latest Duggar sex scandal may not be gaining as much traction as the Josh Duggar child molestation allegations , but with each new revelation, those who follow the family closely experience a new wave of shock and disgust. Longtime family friend Caleb Williams has been accused of sexual assault of a minor. Now, according to a bombshell new report from Radar Online, Williams impregnated his victim while she was still in her teens. The site has obtained court documents pertaining to Williams’ November arrest, as well as the victim’s order of protection filing. The papers reveal that the victims’ mother testified in court and leveled a shocking allegation against Williams. According to the unidentified mother, Williams repeatedly had sex with his alleged victim when she was between the ages of 14 and 16 — and at one point, he got her pregnant. The mother says her daughter “was feeling terrible for 2 weeks and we ended up taking her into the ER in Lincoln to make sure it wasn’t her gall bladder.” When they finally went to the hospital both mother and daughter were met with shocking news: “Come to find out [the victim] was pregnant,” the mother said in court. “She told me she had been having sex with Caleb since she was 14 and he was 21,”  The sexual relations allegedly continued until such time as Williams was 23 and the victim was 16. The victim’s mother claims that Williams used “very persuasive ways” in convincing her daughter to have sex with him. Court documents indicate that Williams told police the sex “was consensual” and that he “disappeared to Arkansas” following his November arrest. Though not a member of the Duggar clan, Caleb has maintained close ties to the family for many years. At one point, it was rumored that Williams was courting Jana Duggar , Jim Bob and Michelle’s oldest daughter. It now appears that either was not the case, or the courtship was extremely short-lived. Jay Smith: Ashley and I Are Back Together and Banging!

This week was a whirlwind of news for 90 Day Fiance couple Ashley Martson and Jay Smith. First, Ashley filed for divorce from Jay earlier this month, only to change her mind this week and withdraw the filing. Now, Jay shared a steamy video to social media to show that they're very much still together. Early Friday morning, Jay Smith shared an Instagram video with his followers. In the video, he is lipsyncing to “Senseless (Remix)” by Stefflon Don & Tory Lanez. While the song is pleasant and Jay is a good-looking dude, that is not what immediately caught the attention of 90 Day Fiance fans. Jay's head rests very comfortably on a pair of fair legs. And, as he is sure to show in the video, the woman on whose legs he is resting is not wearing any pants. The woman's head and face are not shown during the video, but it's not really a mystery. Fans and followers alike did not waste much time guessing the leg-bearer who places her hand on Jay's chest. “100% this is Ashley,” writes a 90 Day Fiance fan blog. “It's friggin Ashley,” comments a fan. “She blocked me after I said I would never let him tattoo me because I've seen his work!!” That hilarious comment concludes: “If she didnt care she wouldn't of blocked me.” We cannot argue with that reasoning. Another “clue” is the caption that Jay included in his video. “If you don't like the road you're walking,” Jay writes. “Start paving another one.” He tags his caption: “newstart.” It sounds like he and Ashley are giving their relationship a soft reboot and trying things again. This time, hopefully, without anyone downloading any dating apps. Ashley has not actually confirmed that she and Jay are back together. In fact, when a fan asked her why she won't give a simple yes or no, her reply said it all. Ashley wrote “nothing I like more than …” followed by a photo of a check. That seems to imply that, as has been rumored, Ashley and Jay have filmed for 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Jay's video may crop out Ashley's face for contractual reasons more than anything else. Still, it's a nice video, and reassuring to the couple's fans. As viewers discovered to their horror on the Season 6 finale of 90 Day Fiance , Jay and Ashley had very ideas of what it means to be married. Ashley learned that Jay had downloaded a dating app — Tinder — within days of their wedding. She caught him video chatting with another woman three days after the nuptials. At the Tell All special, Jay shared that he was being totally transparent with Ashley. She herself shared that she felt torn, because monitoring his electronic behavior felt like being a babysitter, not a wife. At the same time, she did not simply want to ship him back to Jamaica. She felt responsible. Clearly, they've given things another shot, and we hope that it works out. Part of what helped the couple reconnect, it appears, was Ashley's battle with lupus that led to her emergency hospitalization with kidney failure. Jay flew to be by her side, gushing about his feelings for her in a now-deleted post. In the mean time, Ashley has shared that she is taking a step back from certain aspects of social media. “Fans, all I ask for is prayers,” she wrote on Friday morning. “I will not be sharing much information about my health any longer.” “My willingness to overshare came with nothing but scrutiny and backlash,” she lamented. “I need to focus on my health, family, and recovery for that month,” Ashley explained. She concluded: “I appreciate all who support me very much.” Good for her. She should take all of the time that she needs.
