This morning, we reported on the shocking news that Chris Brown had been arrested in Paris i n connection with rape allegations. Now, it seems that authorities have released Brown on his own recognizance and informed him that he is free to return to the United States. The news comes as a shock to many, as the allegations against Brown are quite serious, and it was rumored that the case against him was a strong one. In addition to the rape allegations that led to the arrest of the singer and two associates, it was reported that Brown was facing drug charges, as authorities discovered a large amount of cocaine when he was taken into custody. Moments ago, however, TMZ broke the news that Brown will soon be headed home to the US. The controversial entertainer took to Instagram to address the situation just moments after being released from custody. “I WANNA MAKE IT PERFECTLY CLEAR…… THIS IS FALSE,” reads the latest post on his page. “FOR MY DAUGHTER AND MY FAMILY THIS IS SO DISPRESPECTFUL AND IS AGAINST MY CHARACTER AND MORALS!!!!!” He added: “THIS IS FALSE AND A WHOLE LOT OF CAP!” Brown also posted a graphic that reads simply: “THIS B!TCH LYIN'” The allegations are, of course, only the latest legal entanglement for Brown, who has been in trouble with the law for most of his 15 years in the spotlight. In 2009, Brown assaulted then-girlfriend Rihanna , an incident that initially seemed as though it would land Brown behind bars and bring his music career to crashing halt. Neither proved to be the case, of course, and while Brown remained a wildly popular artist, he’s also proven consistently unable to refrain from engaging in appalling acts of violence. In 2014, Brown was imprisoned after he assaulted a photographer and was then kicked out of a court-ordered rehab facility for smashing a window on his mother’s car. There’s no word on yet on what will happen with Brown’s case from here, but if he was released without posting bond and permitted to return to the States, it seems unlikely that he’ll face any charges. Jenelle Evans has a lot on her plate these days. Obviously, the controversial Teen Mom 2 star is no stranger to feuding with her castmates, but these days she's fighting a war on multiple fronts. In addition to her ongoing feud with Kailyn Lowry , Jenelle has now incurred the wrath of Amber Portwood. And thus far, the Teen Mom OG star has proven to be quite a formidable opponent. Amber already let loose on Jenelle in one epic Instagram rant, and now she's blessed us with another blistering tirade. Chris Brown is once again in trouble with the law. And he may actually go to prison for his actions this time. We’re getting ahead of ourselves a bit, but Brown was arrested in Paris yesterday on charges of rape and drug possession. Along with two members of his entourage, the polarizing singer was detained by French authorities after a woman who met Brown on January 15 claims she went back to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel with him after a night of clubbing. Speaking to Closer Magazine about the alleged incident, this unnamed victim offered up a number of grisly details about what transpired. Once insider the artists’s suite, the woman says she got up and went to the bathroom … only for Brown to follow her and “catch me by the right arm,” continuing: “He makes me enter a sort of dressing room. He closed the door … it lasted 25 – 30 minutes.” The woman described the reported rape as “brutal and violent” and said she was then “abused” by one of Brown’s friends and a bodyguard. A 24-year old model who Closer refers to by the pseudonym “Karima,” she says she waited two days to go to the police because she was frightened. However, she eventually decided to report what happened because she didn’t want Brown to “be able to do the same things to other girls.” In its latest update, TMZ refers to a source tight with Brown who counters that the singer was never alone with Karima and that approximately 20 people were present at all times, including Brown’s girlfriend, someone with bad taste named Amika Harris. As for the legal side of things: Following a custody period of two days, Paris prosecutors will have the option of releasing Brown and his associates — or opening a criminal investigation. If they go with the latter, the lawyers can ask the judge to either keep Brown in custody pending trial or let him go free with “obligations.” If Brown is released with obligations, he could be required to surrender his passport to French authorities and would remain in Paris pending said trial, which typically takes a year. As for the drug charge: A police source has told Radar Online that “a number of suspects were carrying cocaine” after cops arrived on the scene in response to a complaint. That’s all the information we have on that part of the matter. We aren’t here to say whether Brown committed this act or not, but he has a history of violence. Especially violence against women. In 2009, of course, he assaulted Rihanna , leaving his then-girlfriend with wounds all over her face. In 2016, he was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon after he allegedly pulled a gun on a woman named Baylee Curran. Neither Brown nor anyone from his legal team has commented on this latest incident. But IF it’s true that Chris Brown committed rape, would a single reader out there be surprised? Like, at all? Well this is a national tragedy. A global catastrophe. Jeremy Roloff, who is not feuding with his brother , made a pledge to cut off his glorious mane of hair if his charity goal was reached. The charity threshold was met, and Jeremy's hair went on the chopping block. There's a video, if you can bear it. “Well, it happened,” Jeremy writes in the captions of a teaser video on Instagram. He follows those words with a scissors emoji. If you immediately feared the worst — that he has cut his hair — you are sadly correct. “And I’d be lying if I didn’t say it’s bitter sweet,” he admits. Jeremy provides context: “I’ve been growing my hair since September 2014.” “But I needed a change,” he claims. “And it’s for a good cause.” “Speaking of change,” Jeremy continues. “Because of you who decided to give,” he writes. “We will be changing the lives of over 500 folks.” These are people, Jeremy explains, “who currently don’t have access to clean drinking water.” That is a plight known by so many people. We're glad that his sacrifice is making a real difference. “So thank you!” he says. Jeremy even reveals some numbers. “We raised just over 15k for @charitywater,” Jeremy writes. As you would assume, Charity Water is an organization dedicated to bringing access to clean water to those who do not have it. “And with their 1:1 model,” he continues. “Every dollar will go toward water projects.” Jeremy congratulates his fans and followers: “Nice work you guys!!” “Thanks @jackbotti For the rad video per usual,” he notes. As you can see in the video that we included, it is a well put together video, even if the subject matter is heartbreaking. “If you don’t already,” Jeremy suggests. “And you like good videos, give him a follow!” He then teases that, at the end of the full video, fans and followers can see Ember's reaction. That is true enough. The video ends with Audrey desperately, desperately trying to get a reaction out of precious baby Ember Jean. See, some babies do not take it well the first time that they see a parent with different hair (or with or without a beard). It's not a lack of object permanence, it's because they are still working out how to recognize faces — and we all struggle with that sometimes. Ember could clearly not give a flip. Maybe she's hungry or sleepy or doesn't know what to make of Jeremy's horrific new hairdo. Maybe Ember is just observing a moment of silence for her father's late, great, glorious mane. You can see the final, unspeakable version of Jeremy's hair in the video that we have included with this post. Obviously, it is Jeremy's hair. As with the rest of his body, he can do with it as he pleases. But that doesn't mean that the rest of us can't pour one out in memory of the magnificent hair that was. If you’ve been keeping up with The Bachelor Spoilers , you know Colton’s final choice. But he made a lot of decisions before the finale. On this week’s episode of The Bachelor , some drama between two of Colton’s contestants left the leading man unsure of whom to believe. And that only how the episode began … and ended. For the week’s first group date, the women are costumed as swashbuckling pirates. Katie, Heather, Hannah B., Courtney, Kirpa, Tracy, Demi, and Caelynn all got into costume. Viewers did get a kick out of hearing them all refer to Colton as “captain” for the evening. While the purpose is not explained, maybe it gave Caelynn — Miss North Carolina 2018 — a home field advantage. NC’s coast was Blackbeard’s favorite haunt, and Caelynn certainly caught Colton’s eye. Hannah Brown, on the other hand, did not love seeing him give her rival all of that attention. Demi Burnett was living her best life as a pirate and really got into the role. “The job of a pirate is to steal and I’m here to steal Colton’s heart,” Demi announced. She joked: “I don’t want to be another one of those yo-ho-hos.” Hannah B, on the other hand, felt her insecurities come out. “It’s a little frustrating to watch Caelynn engage with Colton right in front of me,” Hannah admitted. Hannah Brown is Miss Alabama, and watching Miss North Carolina excel did not sit well with her. “I’m trying my hardest to not get upset but then Caelynn is just everywhere,” Hannah lamented. “I didn’t come here to compete in another pageant,” she said. “Honestly, this sucks.” Whatever that pirate contest was, Caelynn won it, and Colton gave her a congratulatory kiss. “You’ve got to be kidding me,” Hannah bemoaned. “It’s not easy to see Caelynn moving forward with Colton.” “It brings out all of my insecurities and I start to spiral,” she admitted. “If Colton knew the truth about Caelynn,” Hannah B guessed. “I think he would feel differently about her.” Hannah B decided to confront Colton about Caelynn during the cocktail portion of their date. Note to all The Bachelor hopefuls: trying to undercut your competition always, always makes you look like the bad guy. “I was just in a high-stress situation with her and it was like the most hostile environment I’ve ever been in,” she told Colton. She continued: “It’s hard because it’s like, if that’s what you want, you don’t want me.” Perhaps due to how flustered and insecure she felt, Hannah B didn’t really communicate very well with Colton. This left him feeling frustrated and perhaps a little annoyed — she actually had to ask him for a kiss at the end of their chat. Yikes. To make matters worse for Hannah B, Colton then made a beeline for Caelynn to hear her side of the story. Caelynn was blindsided and cried. She confessed to Colton that she hadn’t planned on addressing her past at that time. So Colton presented her with the Group Date Rose. “I want you to know that I like you a lot,” Colton assured Caelynn. “And it’s about our time together and our connection.” Then there was Colton’s one-on-one date with Elyse. Their date isn’t exactly romantic — a lot of viewers were reminded of babysitting, even if it’s for a great cause. Colton does charity work with kids who are hospitalized, and he and Elyse go on some fair rides with ten children. Elyse does praise that seeing Colton be so good with kids is “the sexiest thing ever.” She also opens up about her life, and the two of them get to bond despite their (gasp) 5-year age gap. Elyse gets the rose. For the second group date, Colton once again has his heaving man-bosom on display. Tayshia, Nina, Catherine, Sydney, Onyeka, Cassie, Nicole, and Caitlin join him for a workout class. On the one hand, most people would rather be pirates than sweat in front of the guy they’re dating and the viewers at home. On the other hand, Colton’s tatas are out as a feast for their eyes. That’s fair. “We pull up and Colton is waiting for us topless,” Caitlin said. “Which is a really nice sight.” Terry Crews, who is always a delight, and his wife Rebecca were there to help Colton in his quest to identify his “strong woman.” We joked about Caelynn having an advantage, but with this group date, some women quickly stood out from the rest. Sydney is a dancer, Onyeka is a track star, and Catherine knows karate. Onyeka gets the “strongest woman” trophy. Then it’s time for the cocktail portion and to lounge by the pool. “I feel like I’ve kind of been slipping behind a little bit,” Caitlin admitted. “Because we got sent home on the last group date.” But when she actually gets some one-on-one time with Colton, she falters. He asks her what she’s looking for in a man, and she says someone who’s happy to have a silly evening with her and her friends. Colton just about has an out-of-body experience out of sheer boredom with her answer. Then, Caitlin confesses that her life has been pretty chill so far, so she doesn’t have anything major to spill to him. Colton goes ahead and sends her home because he doesn’t feel much of a spark. The Caelynn drama with Hannah Brown isn’t over, though. Colton speaks to both women, who both paint unflattering (but vague) portraits of their former frenemies. “I feel like I’m going around and round in circles,” Colton said. “I don’t know what to believe.” “I’m frustrated because I still don’t understand this,” he confesses to an unseen producer. “The last thing I wanted to do today was spend all day at the pool party talking about this,” he said. “I’m not getting clarity at all.” Since Caelynn had received the group date rose, Hannah B gets a rose. Not all 90 Day Fiance scandals are fun. Some are deeply alarming. Leida Margaretha accused Eric Rosenbrook of abuse , and Eric said that he was just trying to stop her from killing herself. Police visited their home, and Leida has released a statement. Us Weekly reports that the Baraboo Police Department in Wisconsin visited Leida and Eric’s home. This was on Sunday morning, January 20. The police visit took place from 8:30 to 8:43 in the morning. Police have confirmed that they paid the couple a visit, but have so far declined to provide any details. It is clear to fans that this visit was almost certainly over the couple’s alleged domestic incident. Messages, purportedly from Leida and Eric, each told their sides of the story. 90 Day Fiance superfan and blogger John Yates shared what appear to be text messages that Leida sent. “He pulled my hairs really hard,” the text messages attributed to Leida say. The words attributed to Leida confess: “I don’t want to live with him anymore.” “I was about to kill my self with a knife,” the alarming text reads. “He grabbed a knife,” the texts conclude. “And abused me after that.” That is terrifying on multiple levels — the allegations of abuse and also the threatening of suicide. “We had a fight,” Eric Rosenbrook said in other messages. “I had to wrestle a knife from her,” Eric reported. “As a result of the interaction, the Marine came out in me,” he claimed. “I pulled her hair to get her to stand up as she wouldn’t let me stand her up to look her in face,” he admitted. “She insisted on calling the cops so I did,” Eric wrote. “They took her to the hospital to evaluate her mental condition.” Obviously, we can understand taking a knife away from someone to save their life. It does sound like, by Eric’s own admission, he went too far. Following this incident, Leida is reportedly no longer handling her own social media. Instead, she is speaking through a publicist, Linda Zimmerman. In a statement to In Touch Weekly , Leida’s publicist acknowledges what went down. “A domestic incident did take place between Eric and Leida on January 20, 2019,” the statement confirms. The statement continues: “The couple asked that you please respect their desire to keep things private at this time.” And there’s more. Leida and Eric are now both saying that the screenshots that were released were only made public because their Instagram accounts were hacked. On the one hand, Instagram accounts can absolutely be infiltrated. The social media giant (owned by Facebook) does not always respond to reports of stolen accounts with great alacrity. At the same time, some 90 Day Fiance fans are leery of these claims. Leida has made similar claims in the past. It’s true that Leida Margaretha was one of this season’s villains. She was perhaps the most hated 90 Day Fiance star for Season 6, which is no easy feat, considering her competition. No matter what you (or anyone) may think of her as a person, no one deserves to be abused. This is not the first time that Leida has expressed thoughts or impulses of suicide, and we hope that she can make a swift and full recovery. Reality television drama is one thing. Ashley Martson is back at home after a very serious health scare. As previously reported, the 90 Day Fiance star was found unresponsive at her home a week ago, prompting an emergency hospital visit due to her kidneys failing. This was a result of Martson having been diagnosed with Lupus, an auto-immune disease that can damage various parts of the body. (Selena Gomez, for example, also suffers from Lupus and actually underwent a kidney transplant in 2017 as a result.) On Saturday, however, Martson provided fans with an update on her condition, confirming she was resting comfortably at home and thanking anyone who donated to her GoFundMe campaign. (As of this writing, the campaign, meant to cover Ashley’s “unexpected medical costs and loss of income,” had raised $3,860.) “I am so thankful for your help and kind hearts,” the reality star wrote on Instagram over the weekend, continuing as follows: “You guys are truly a blessing and I will forever be grateful for each of you. All the cards and care packages sent made me smile and tear up at the same time. “Sometimes I loose [sic] faith in humanity but you all reminded me that there still is kind and compassionate people in this world. “Thank you again from the Bottom of my heart.” Concluded Martson in this message: I will continue to be open about my battle with lupus and if you don’t like it or feel I’m seeking attention then kindly unfollow. This disease is horrible and I want everyone that is going through it to know they’re not alone. Martson, who previously was in the news because her husband admitted to cheating on her as soon as the couple got married, originally broke the news of her hospitalization via a photo of herself in very bad shape. She was open and honest at the time by writing: I’m sorry if this photo offends anyone but I will not hide that I’m sick. If I can help one person with lupus then posting this is worth it. I was found unresponsive this morning at my home. The Ambulance took me to the hospital where it was found that I am in acute kidney failure due to lupus. I will begin dialysis shortly. I will not let this beat me. I know I’m strong enough to battle through this,not just for myself but for my kids. I will be transferred to another hospital this evening that is better equipped. Please pray for myself and my family as I know it’s going to be a very tough road ahead for all of us. Thank you for your continuous support and prayers Despite her recent operation, though, the TLC personality is determined to live her regular life again. “Finding the strength to get out of bed and get to my daughters game is rough,” she wrote on Instagram Stories on Sunday, January 20. “I will not miss her game no matter what!” Will Martson need to undergo a kidney transplant at some point? It’s possible. For now, she simply went through dialysis in the hopes this procedure would help the kidneys repair themselves. Jay Smith, who has definitely been disloyal to his wife and who appears to suck in most aspects of life, did rush to be by her side in the hospital, however. He also publicized this effort. “I may have hurt you. I may have not been a good husband. Jumping on a plane the second I found out you was in the hospital was something I didn’t even think twice to do,” Smth wrote on social media last week, adding: “We have our differences but as long as I have life I will never let you sit alone and suffer. If you keep up with Teen Mom gossip, then you know that Jenelle Evans and Kailyn Lowry do not get along. Like, at all. Even though they used to be friends back in the early days of Teen Mom 2, things turned sour between them, and now they pretty much hate each other. But do they hate each other enough to make death threats? Apparently so … 1. The Apple and the Tree Jenelle and her mother, Barbara, are getting along again, and that’s great, truly. 2. Hard Times Their relationship was in a bad place for a long time after she began dating David Eason, and there was quite a stretch there when they didn’t even speak to each other. 3. Yay! Luckily they were able to reconnect last summer, and ever since then, they’ve been spending time together. 4. Dang It, David It’s a good thing, too, since David has seriously gone off the rails and, you know, he’s allegedly been abusive to Jenelle. 5. A Miracle So that’s a happy little story, right?
