Pete Davidson made his first extended appearance on Saturday Night Live this weekend since threatening to kill himself over Instagram a few weeks ago. On the latest edition of this NBC program, the comedian stopped by Weekend Update and offered his thoughts on… … random Clint Eastwood movie The Mule?!? Yes. But the aforementioned talk of taking his own life did not go totally ignored. “Here to talk about a very important experience he had over the holidays is Pete Davidson,” Colin Jost said as Davidson joined him during the segment, asking: “How are ya, Pete?” “I'm great, as you know, I've had a really crazy month, and I wanna talk about something that matters a lot to me,” Davidson replied. “OK, mental health?” Jost asked. “No, the new Clint East movie, The Mule,” Davidson told Jost. From there, Davidson and fellow comedian John Mulaney really did talk at length about this film, although Pete did quip at one: “After observing John's life, I publicly threatened suicide. I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't make that joke, but it is funny.” This is where Mulaney turned to Davidson to assure him, “You are loved by many…and we are glad you are OK.” Back in December, the 25-year-old cast member shared a note on his Instagram account that read as follows: “I really don't want to be on this earth anymore. I'm doing my best to stay here for you but I actually don't know how much longer I can last. All I've ever tried to do was help people. Just remember I told you so.” Davidson has often been open about his struggles with substance abuse and mental health. He was also open about his engagement to Ariana Grande , until that fizzled out and the two went their separate ways. The 90 Day Fiance couple everyone thought had made it … did not. Jonathan and Fernanda have addressed their split in separate posts . But not everything is amicable. Now, the two are making vague posts about which of them is the better person. Fernanda had taken a “break” from social media. This week, she returned. “Some of the kindest souls I know have lived in a world that was not so kind to them,” she wrote in a vague post. “Some of the best human beings I know,” Fernanda continued. “Have been through so much at the hands of others.” “And,” Fernanda said, those people “still love deeply, they still care.” “Sometimes,” she noted. “It’s people who have been hurt the most, who refuse to be hardened in this world.” Fernanda says that this is “because they would never want to make another person feel the same way they themselves have felt.” It is difficult to read that and not interpret it as meaning that she will remain hopeful despite her broken marriage. In another post, still without naming Jonathan, Fernanda views her current situation through a religious lens. “I declare that God has a great plan for my life,” Fernanda begins. “He is directing my steps,” she writes. “And even though I may not always understand how,” Fernanda admits. “I know that my situation is not a surprise to God.” “He will work out every detail to my advantage,” she trusts. “In his perfect timing,” Fernanda concludes. “Everything will turn right.” Jonathan has also been active on social media. For the most part, as we have mentioned, he has been continuing as if it is business as usual. As we reported on Thursday, Jonathan shared a program that he started for underprivileged children in his community. But he has also shared a very succinct text post. “Be kind to people for no good reason,” the image reads. “#nocaptionneeded,” he wrote as his caption. Those posts are vague but generally pleasant. We wish that we could say the same for Jonathan and Fernanda’s marriage. “I haven’t spoken to Fernanda since December 22,” Jonathan clarified last week . “I have a lot going on,” he explained. “And so in the midst of all the craziness, I try to focus on what’s important.” Even so, he wanted to make it extremely clear that Fernanda isn’t any more of a villain than he is. “Fernanda’s not a gold digger,” he affirmed. “Fernanda didn’t come here for a green card.” “What happened was things change,” he admitted. “Things change and people change and I can’t help that.” “Every marriage has its problems. Every relationship has its issues,” Jonathan said on Instagram Live. “It’s all about your attitude,” he noted. “As long as you’re positive… [I] gotta take it day by day.” “I promise you, I didn’t give up,” he assured fans. I gave 110 percent to my marriage.” In the end, he says: “I reached a point where I said, ‘I have to love myself just as much.'” We hope that, at some point, Jon or Fernanda or both of them will explain what happened. Leida Margaretha may have been the most hated cast member of her 90 Day Fiance season, which is quite the accomplishment. During the Tell All Part 2 , Leida’s conflict with Eric Rosenbrook’s daughter took center stage. But now her former sister-in-law has come forward to accuse Leida of a brutal violent attack. Leida Margaretha has a young son, Alessandro, from a previous relationship. Alessandro’s father is a man named Daniel, and Daniel’s sister is a woman named Amelia. (Amelia is still Alessandro’s aunt) She says that Leida’s toxic behavior began long, long before she ever became a reality star. Amelia went on social media and claimed that Leida attacked her when they were still sisters-in-law. And Leida was apparently being investigated by the police for this particular attack. To no one’s surprise, this apparently began with an argument between Leida and Daniel. After the bickering, Leida wanted Amelia to return with her to her parents’ house — but Amelia did not want to. “The next morning she was mad at me and destroy all me belongings,” Amelia says. She explains that Leida felt entitled to do so “because she thinks all my belongings is belong to her.” Amelia accuses Leida of stealing money from her and of threatening to ruin Daniel’s business, financed by her wealthy family, if they broke up. Beware, folks, because this is where the details turn violent. Amelia says that Leida has “anger issues” that drove her to track Amelia down when she was staying at her aunt’s house. She says that Leida arrived uninvited and was “screaming because I talk back to her.” Leida was allegedly “really mad” and “hit me and punch me in my face and my head at the same time.” Amelia also says that Leida kicked her during this encounter. She notes that, during the assault, Leida allegedly shouted “you should die!!” Obviously, a physical attack is the sort of thing where police get involved. Amelia says that she did press charges — initially. But Leida allegedly went to great lengths to “manipulate me to drop the case,” Amelia says. And, eventually, it worked. Amelia blames herself for dropping the charges, lamenting that she was “stupid and innocent.” There are a lot of violent, manipulative people in this world. It is never the victim’s fault. Amelia had much more to say about Leida, including accusing her of using expensive gifts to “blackmail” her own friends. At times, she would allegedly give someone a gift and then threaten to take it back if they displeased her. Amelia also says that Leida would surprise people with gifts, like a concert ticket to see Katy Perry, and later claim that the person begged for it. That also sounds nasty and toxic … and there’s more. Amelia says that Leida had very specifically banged on her door, screamed at her, and invaded her privacy over having a “messy room.” Does this sound familiar to anyone else? It should. Messiness was Leida’s exact issue with Eric’s teenage daughter, Tasha, whom she forced out of her own home. Leida’s own castmates were horrified and shocked by Leida’s treatment of Tasha. The only thing worse to them, some of whom are parents themselves, was the way that Eric seemed to accept Leida’s behavior. He admitted that he knew that Leida had called his own daughter a “bitch.” He didn’t seem to care. He also caved to Leida’s emotional blackmail and banned his own daughter from her apartment. As of the Tell All’s filming, he and Tasha have no relationship, and he sounds perfectly happy with that. Maybe he and Leida deserve each other. Eric has seen these accusations against Leida — taking aim at Soap Dirt for covering these same social media posts. He then tells them their business, insisting that they should hear both sides if they wish to be taken seriously. Our take is that Eric is the last person to lecture people on taking people seriously. Also, Soap Dirt and other outlets are just reporting Amelia’s accusations, the same as we are. The patronage reflects Meghan’s beliefs “I n using the arts to bring people from different backgrounds and communities together , according to the National Theatre. Leading royal historian Robert Lacey told People his thoughts and opinions on how it could happen. He thinks “Meghan’s new patronage of the National Theatre presents fascinating opportunities” for the former star. Of course, she may choose to stay involved from the audience, but I like to think the mom to be still has some spark left in her! Lacey, a consultant for the Netflix hit The Crown says in this week’s issue of People , “if Meghan is ever missing the excitement of acting, this will put her back in touch with show business in a very creative way. It is tailor-made for her and she will throw herself into it.” He also believes the Duchess will even take part at some point and be involved with productions or even directing something herself. Lacey adds that “the National Theatre has quite a radical record of tackling the difficult social issues of the moment and for innovating new plays and productions – so that might be an area where she might add her influence.” So, could the past actress-turned-Duchess REALLY come home to the stage? “It’s not out of the question that we’d see a member of the royal family performing on the stage of the National Theatre one day.” Ok, universe! According to a stunning new report, Kody Brown has given new meaning to the series title Sister Wives. There is now an emphasis on the SISTER , Radar Online explains. Allow us to explain… Kody and Janelle Brown were “spiritually” married way back on January 20, 1993, with the latter becoming Kody’s second proverbial ball and chain after Meri. They have six kids together. But we’ve now learned that Kody’s father, William Winn Brown, was married to Janelle’s mother, Sheryl, at the time of his death in August of 2013 at age 78. You can figure out what this means, right? It means that Kody and Janelle are brother and sister AND husband and wife! To be clear, of course, they are not biologically related. They are simply step-siblings., connected through the marriage of their marriage. Still, though. Indeed, sources tell Radar Online that Rob is set to return to Keeping Up with the Kardashians after effectively not appearing at all on the prior two seasons of this E! reality show. Simply put: “Kris is bribing her son with millions of dollars to lose weight,” a source close to the 63-year-old matriarch tells the aforementioned celebrity gossip site. It’s been well-documented in the past that Rob has struggled to maintain a healthy weight — and also that his family members have grown embarrassed by his ballooning figure. Rob himself has also been embarrassed, which partly explains his absence from the series of late. “[Jenner] told [Rob] that she will give him a half a million dollar increase for every ten pounds he loses,” Radar claims , explaining of this unique situation: “He has been working out non-stop and she is so proud of him because she really wants him to come back strong.” Rob’s weight loss journey will provide Keeping Up with the Kardashians with a fresh storyline, of course, as will the shocking fact that someone out there apparently wants to sleep with him. Let’s get this out of the way up front: Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are husband and wife. We’re sorry to break it to you, teenage women around the globe, but it’s true. The superstars shocked their fans this past summer when first they got engaged and then, just several weeks later, they stopped by a courthouse in New York City and exchanged vows. It was casual. It was informal. It was confusing, at first at least. Did the couple actually get hitched? Or merely get their wedding license? In October, however, Baldwin confiirmed that she was , indeed, Mrs. Justin Bieber. Again: we’re very sorry, basically every woman on the planet under the age of 25. It’s long been rumored, however, that Bieber and Baldwin were going to hold an actual wedding ceremony, including a giant celebration with family members, friends and loved ones. According to TMZ, this ceremony and reception is now planned. Insiders close to the famous couple say that the big day will take place on the weekend of March 1. As loyal Beliebers know, of course, this is the date on which Bieber turns 25. Moreover, these second round of nuptials will reportedly take place in Los Angeles; or at least the Los Angeles area. Why would Hailey and Justin make this decision, considering most of Bieber’s family resides on the East Coast or in Canada? It’s simple, TMZ writes: the weather sucks on those regions in late winter! We’re not being harsh here, we’re just stating a meterological fact. Lastly, this report emphasizes that the ceremony will be heavily in religious in nature, which does make a lot of sense: The courthouse wedding was quick and strictly legal, while Justin and Hailey have embraced God and faith more than ever these days. As for who will be invited? This may be the most sought-after wedding invitation since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle tied the knot. But all we know for now is that Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are invited. Which is just, like, okay, sure, whatever. Once the stars go public as husband and wife, the question will then turn to when Bieber and Baldwin will have children. They’re young, but it sounds as if this may happen in the very near future. “I love kids,” Baldwin told Vogue in November . “I can’t wait to have my own.” She didn’t elaborate on when this might happen, on when Bieber’s sperm will fertilize her egg, but Hailey did say that being a mother is “closer [to] reality” now than ever before. Obviously, his wife, Queen Elizabeth II, has been at center stage for the entirety of their 72-year marriage, but if you’ve ever watched The Crown , you know that Prince Philip is quite the badass in his own right. And in case you were unaware, homie flipped his Land Rover and walked away from the accident at age 97 today just to prove it to you. Yes, Philip was involved in a two-car accident near the Royal Family’s Sandringham Estate this afternoon. Amazingly, he was unharmed, despite the fact that the Land Rover he was driving was overturned in the wreck. The news was confirmed moments ago by Buckingham Palace officials. “The Duke of Edinburgh was involved in a road traffic accident with another vehicle on Thursday afternoon,” reads the official statement. “The Duke was not injured. The accident took place close to the Sandringham Estate. Local police attended the scene.” A number of British gossip outlets are having a field day with the fact that Philip was breathalyzed after the accident. While that’s true, police were just following standard procedure, and Philip’s test turned up negative. (The other driver was also tested.) So Philip definitely was not drinking and driving, and while we’re certainly not advocating that sort of behavior, it would’ve been kind of cool if he’d been cruising around under the legal limit but with a Guinness in the cupholder. C’mon, he’s 97! Plus, it might have been good for the historically rocky relations between the Irish and the Brits. Philip is retired from public life these days, and there have been rumors that he’s struggling with health issues, particularly after he failed to join the Queen at Christmas Day church services. But now, it seems that Phil was just cruising around and getting his Rover up on two wheels like he’s on Top Gear or some such bollocks. We kid — but obviously there’s nothing funny about a 97-year-old monarch flipping his whip. Of course, that’s easy to say after you just spent 300 words joking around about it. But in all seriousness, this is only a laughing matter because no one was injured. We wish Philip many more years of terrorizing his fellow motorists in the English countryside.
