Warning: Not Safe for Life If you haven’t heard the call yet, well, lucky you, but here it is: in this recording, we hear Jenelle sobbing hysterically and telling the 911 operator that her husband abused her and she thinks he may have broken a bone. 5. Just Heartbreaking Everyone who listened to the recording agreed that she seemed genuinely terrified and just beside herself, and that she’s just not a good enough actress to make all that up. 6. Those who’ve been on social media since 2012 have witnessed both the rise and fall of J Law. But even though Jennifer Lawrence defended Ryan Seacrest against #MeToo accusations, she totally disavows Harvey Weinstein. And she’s now responding to the rumor that the disgraced former producer launched her career in exchange for sex. Late last week, a Jane Doe plaintiff filed a lawsuit against Harvey Weinstein. The actual suit says that he lured her into a private meeting under the guise of discussing her career, only to then sexually assault her. It is an all-too-familiar story of the nightmare that many women face in the entertainment industry and beyond. Though the actress filing the suit has not been identified, one very recognizable name from court documents caught people’s attention. According to the lawsuit, Weinstein once claimed that he had slept with Jennifer Lawrence. His alleged brag also said that the sexual relationship was responsible for J Law’s A-list career. Of particular note was that he referred to Jennifer’s 2012 Oscar win. “I slept with Jennifer Lawrence and look where she is,” he reportedly told Jane Doe. “She has just won an Oscar.” The implication was that he could make — or break — careers on a whim. Pointing to a star at the height of her career and claiming that he made it happen in exchange for sex was clearly meant to encourage this woman to voluntarily sleep with him. That is just so gross — especially in light of everything else that the world has heard about Weinstein. So … is it true? Jennifer Lawrence released a statement to Entertainment Tonight to address the claim that Weinstein allegedly made to the unnamed actress. “My heart breaks for all the women who were victimized by Harvey Weinstein,” Jennifer Lawrence writes. But she, she announces, was not one of them. J Law states: “I have never had anything but a professional relationship with him.” “This is yet another example of the predatory tactics and lies that he engaged,” she concludes. “In to lure countless women.” “This lawsuit was filed and updated strategically with no notice given or any attempt to reach out to Mr. Weinstein’s attorneys for one reason;” Weinstein’s team claims. That’s right — he still has people who are willing to take his money in order to defend him. “It was meant to embarrass Mr. Weinstein and garner unchecked media attention,” Weinstein’s spokesperson claims. Bold of them to imply that their client could possibly be embarrassed at this point. We’re well past that. “There is absolutely no truth to the malicious claims made in this lawsuit,” the response claims. The statement continues: “And we are reviewing our options with an eye on filing for an immediate dismissal.” “Mr. Weinstein is embarrassed for Ms. Lawrence,” the spokesperson says. They continue: “with whom he has only had a professional and respectful relationship, who has sadly been dragged into this ugly attempt at defamation.” Jennifer Lawrence began her statement by directly expressing sympathy for Weinstein’s alleged victims, but she didn’t say alleged . We imagine that J Law would tell Weinstein exactly where he can stick his embarrassment. In the end, Weinstein’s response says that this lawsuit is just taking cheap shots without repercussion. “This filing further proves that anyone can say whatever they want in a lawsuit,” the spokesperson adds. The statement concludes: “for maximum shock value, to defame and debase, without having to offer any facts or reality.” Well, people can make a lot of accusations in lawsuits. Then Kandi blows up Porsha’s spot and says that she saw Porsha boo’d up with another guy just three months prior to her getting all serious with Dennis. We all knew there was something fishy going on. Finally, the group settles into the house and then continues the messiness over dinner. This time, Cynthia initiates a discussion with Eva. Basically, she wanted to know why Eva went on a bachelorette trip to Miami (which was right before this trip) and didn’t invite any of them, especially NeNe, who is actually in her wedding, and Eva claims is like her big sister. Eva says it was a surprise trip, but not like a suprise, surprise, then Porsha pipes up saying she was actually invited so now and now they’re looking at her like: This does strike NeNe as shady but she doesn’t seem to take it too hard. We move on and Shamari says she feels some type of way about Porsha trying to shade her style at the Bailey Q, only it wasn’t Porsha that shaded her, it was Eva. Eva Marcille is learning the hard way that being shady is not the way forward on The Real Housewives of Atlanta. NeNe Leakes was livid that she never made the cut to be invited to Eva’s bachelorette party and wasted no time in telling her friends just how mad she was. Eva was put on blast during a girls’ trip that was planned by NeNe. Cynthia Bailey took an immediate issue with the fact that some of the housewives were left out, mainly because Eva previously asked NeNe to speak at her wedding. When asked about how the event was, Eva could not look any of the ladies in the eye, so she settled for the ground and said the event was “bomb” and that “it was a surprise.” This was clearly a tactic from Eva to make everyone think that she was not in the know about who was and was not invited. And then Porsha Williams threw in her two cents. “But I was invited a while ago,” Porsha yelled, and Kandi Burruss was not amused. “Wait, I’m confused. How is it a surprise if you invited Porsha?” the Xscape hitmaker complained. Eva continued to claim that she had little knowledge of the event but kept changing her story throughout the episode. Porsha claimed she “didn’t think it was a secret” and asked straight up why NeNe was not part of the guest list. Eva continued on the denial train, and Cynthia was mad. Eva has long maintained that she and NeNe go way back, so Cynthia was pissed that Eva would treat her this way. “I don’t have any biological sisters that I know, so for me, women in my life and in my circle is a blessing,” Eva went on to say while fighting back tears. “I don’t have to be best friends with NeNe for me to have a level of respect for her. I’m inspired by NeNe. I have seen who NeNe has become. I’ve seen her successes, and I support her.” “I don’t talk to her every day like [Cynthia does], that’s fine. Or every day like Marlo does, that’s fine. But that doesn’t change the way I feel about her.” NeNe was taken aback, but still confused. “I think Marlo and Cynthia’s biggest issue was how do you be in somebody’s wedding and they don’t invite you to the bachelorette weekend?” she said to Eva. “Even if you thought a person was busy, you still extend the invite, whether they’re busy or not.” NeNe could tell there was something amiss with Eva, but she did not tell her that to her face. “I don’t know if I would have gone to Eva’s bachelorette party, but an invite would’ve been f–king nice,” she said. “I mean, she did ask me to speak at her wedding, so it seems to me it would make more sense if she had just said, ‘Hey, girl, do you wanna come to Florida?!’ And I probably would’ve said, ‘Hey, girl, no!'” Okay then. The other big fight of the night was a dud. Shamari DeVoe felt like Porsha was giving her the cold shoulder, so she called her out. Porsha responded by saying that she felt the same way about Shamari. It emerged that Eva was the one who was causing all the problems, so Porsha was in the clear here. Colin Kroll, the co-founder and CEO of HQ Trivia, was found dead early Sunday morning in his Manhattan apartment. He was 35 years old. According to TMZ, Kroll’s girlfriend called police and asked for someone to check on Kroll after she grew concerned because she could not get in touch with him. Cops then went to Kroll’s’s downtown Manhattan residence, entered… and discovered Kroll’s body in his bedroom. He was face down and there was drug paraphernalia nearby. It is believed that he died of an overdose. At this point (before any tests have been run, we ought to note), law enforcement officials think Kroll passed away due to a mixture of cocaine and heroin. Kroll was named CEO of HQ Trivia in 2015. A year earlier, he was fired from Twitter after he was determined to be a “bad manager,” most notably because female employees alleged his behavior made them uncomfortable. However, no sexual harassment claims were ever filed. Kroll was also the co-founder of Vine and served as the General Manager of this company/platform between 2013 and 2014. Morever, he was the Chief Technology Officer for Jetsetter. Prior to that role, Kroll worked as the Engineering Manager at Yahoo between 2007 to 2009. Here is the official NYPD statement on the incident: On Sunday, December 16, 2018 at 0018 hours, police responded to a 911 call for a wellness check at 56 Spring Street within the confines of the 5th Precinct. Upon arrival, officers discovered a 35-year-old male unconscious and unresponsive in a bedroom. EMS responded and pronounced the individual deceased on scene. The investigation is ongoing and the Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death. HQ Trivia is a live quiz app; it was launched in August of 2017 and was one of iPhone’s 10 most-downloaded apps in January of this year. At the moment, however, it has fallen down to somewhere between 250 and 500. Representatives for HQ Trivia were not immediately available to comment. Kroll does not leave behind any kids. So says Offset in a revealing new Instagram video, which he shared late Friday night and which is intended to win over Cardi B, the woman he just recently so badly scorned and humiliated. The wildly popular artist announced in early December that her marriage to Offset was over . And while Cardi said mostly nice things about Offset in this announcement, stating that the two would remain “business partners and friends,” it became evident rather quckly that the Migos member had messed up quite badly. He had been caught cheating on the singer and even caught trying to set up a threesome without her . Cardi herself is yet to respond to these horrible actions by her husband, but the woman with whom Offset cheated has apologized… … and now Offset has done the same. “I was partaking in activity that I shouldn't have been partaking in, and I apologize,” he says in the footage featured here, adding: “You know what I'm saying? For breaking your heart, for breaking our promise, for breaking God's promise and being a selfish, messed up husband.” Offset does sound contrite in his confession. But he's been known for sleeping around in the past, so Cardi will need to decide if such a habit has truly been broken forever. The rapper hadn't exactly ruled out a reconciliation , even before Offset went ahead here and got all nice and candid. Will his words be enough to win her over? Or have his despicable actions spoken far louder than they ever will? I'm trying to be a better person. I want to get this off my shoulders. I want to get this off my back. I apologize to you Cardi. Few reality stars have as close a relationship with their fan base as Kailyn Lowry. In addition to starring in Teen Mom 2 , Kail hosts a podcast in which she offers even more details about her personal life, and she’s a popular presence on Twitter. You might say Kail is something of an open book — an apt description, given that Lowry is also a bestselling author . Kail recently published her fourth book, A Letter of Love , and in keeping with her devotion to her fans, she’s been offering autographed copies at a reasonable rate. Unfortunately, it seems some fans who ordered these personalized copies have yet to receive them. Apparently, the problem was that the distributor delivered a shipment to Kail’s house in order for her to sign them, and she was unable to bring the box inside right away. As a result, the books were damaged by the weather, and Kail was unable to ship them out. She explained the situation on Twitter today: “Update on “A Letter Of Love”, I am working with my attorneys to obtain rights to my book so I can have new books printed and sent to those of you who have yet to receive your copies,” Lowry tweeted. “At this time, the publisher does not seem to be issuing refunds or sending out new copies.” She added: “If you are looking to receive a refund from them, I would recommend to dispute the charge with whatever payment method was used to pay. “Contact with the publisher has been very sporadic and I am working as quickly as possible to get this rectified with my attorneys.” For the most part, fans were forgiving, but a few remained upset following Kail’s explanation: “The publisher said they had the books sent to YOU to sign and YOU LEFT THEM OUTSIDE! That’s your fault,” wrote one fan. “YOU said you left them outside How come your not refunding us or having them print more for you? It’s a tough situation, and while the fans anger is understandable, it seems there’s not much Kail can do at the moment. It also seems that she’s deeply upset about the situation. “I think I’m gona eat my feelings & go to sleep,” Lowry tweeted today. Sometimes that’s the only option. As you may have heard, Nicki Minaj is dating Kenneth Petty , a man who has served time on rape and manslaughter convictions. The public is baffled, fans are appalled, and an oblivious Nicki keeps posting pics with her new man like she just won the cuffing season lottery. Astonishingly, it was recently reported that Nicki is planning to marry Kenneth . The only possible explanations here are that she knows something we don’t; she’s lost her damn mind; or her feud with Cardi B is so intense that she won’t let her rival claim the title of Most Horrendous Marriage. Kenneth was one of Nicki’s first loves — they grew up together in Queens. And sources close to the rapper say she’s convinced that he’s changed. Which is good, because based on his prison disciplinary records, dude has a lot of changing to do before he could be considered husband material for anyone . TMZ obtained Petty’s records , and it seems dude was anything but a model prisoner. In fact, his problems began one day after he was incarcerated, when he was disciplined for creating a disturbance. It was all downhill from there, as Petty was written up a whopping 18 times over the course of his two bids behind bars. Petty’s most major violations include two violent conduct violations in 2010 for threats and fighting. Prior to that, he also racked up another fighting violation, and 5 violations for disobeying a direct order. One 2009 incident caused major problems for Nicki’s beau: He was cited for 9 separate violations following an altercation and wound up serving four months in solitary. After that, he was stripped of all his major privileges, including phone, recreation, and commissary. Look, prison is a rough place; the incarceration rate in this country is outrageous, and it disproportionately affects young men of color in a way that some have described as among the world’s most egregious human rights violations. But it’s not like Kenneth was knocked for selling dime bags. Dude went up the river the first time for first degree attempted rape. His second conviction was for manslaughter. Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton and Prince William are preparing for a very awkward Christmas. And we’re here to make it even more tension-filled! As you have very likely heard by now, there’s an alleged feud between Markle and Middleton. There’s also an alleged feud between Harry and William over how each feels about the former’s new wife. Acutely aware of the perception around the globe about these four members of the Royal Family, Kensington Palace has basically ordered the quarter to spend the holidays together. According to multiple outlets, Kate and William were planning on being with the Middletons on December 25 — until higher-ups stepped in and decided otherwise. Now, both couples will be in London for the birthday of Jesus Christ, as the world prepares to analyze each and every photo of them on their way to church that morning. Before that opportunity, arises, however, the tandems have given fans two more photos to analyze. The first is a brand new snapshot from Markle and Harry’s wedding, unveiled on Friday morning for the first time because it will be the lead picture of their inaugural Christmas card. We’ve posted it above. “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share a new photograph from their Wedding Reception at Frogmore House on 19th May,” Kensington Palace captioned the image on Twitter, adding: “The photograph, which features on Their Royal Highnesses’ Christmas card, was taken by photographer Chris Allerton.” Very pretty, right? But is it prettier than the one also just released by Kate and William? These parents of three just came out with their own Christmas card photograph, one that depicts Middleton and her Prince cuddled up closely with their children: Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 8 months. The holiday portrait was taken in early fall at the pair’s country home in Norfolk and it marks little Louis’ Christmas card debut.
