Kailyn Lowry Accused of Stiffing Fans Who Ordered Autographed Books

Few reality stars have as close a relationship with their fan base as Kailyn Lowry. In addition to starring in Teen Mom 2 , Kail hosts a podcast in which she offers even more details about her personal life, and she’s a popular presence on Twitter. You might say Kail is something of an open book — an apt description, given that Lowry is also a bestselling author . Kail recently published her fourth book, A Letter of Love , and in keeping with her devotion to her fans, she’s been offering autographed copies at a reasonable rate. Unfortunately, it seems some fans who ordered these personalized copies have yet to receive them. Apparently, the problem was that the distributor delivered a shipment to Kail’s house in order for her to sign them, and she was unable to bring the box inside right away. As a result, the books were damaged by the weather, and Kail was unable to ship them out. She explained the situation on Twitter today: “Update on “A Letter Of Love”, I am working with my attorneys to obtain rights to my book so I can have new books printed and sent to those of you who have yet to receive your copies,” Lowry tweeted. “At this time, the publisher does not seem to be issuing refunds or sending out new copies.” She added: “If you are looking to receive a refund from them, I would recommend to dispute the charge with whatever payment method was used to pay. “Contact with the publisher has been very sporadic and I am working as quickly as possible to get this rectified with my attorneys.” For the most part, fans were forgiving, but a few remained upset following Kail’s explanation: “The publisher said they had the books sent to YOU to sign and YOU LEFT THEM OUTSIDE! That’s your fault,” wrote one fan. “YOU said you left them outside  How come your not refunding us or having them print more for you? It’s a tough situation, and while the fans anger is understandable, it seems there’s not much Kail can do at the moment. It also seems that she’s deeply upset about the situation. “I think I’m gona eat my feelings & go to sleep,” Lowry tweeted today. Sometimes that’s the only option. Nick Viall: Did He Dump Jen Saviano to Be The Bachelor?!

The Bachelor’s Nick Viall is speaking out about an eyebrow-raising rumor regarding his romance with Bachelor in Paradise love Jen Saviano. Specifically, when and why it ended … and you don’t need The Bachelor spoilers to tell you that, true or not, the rumor fits Nick’s reputation. Nick, who is no stranger to controversy, is alleged by one of the former couple’s co-star to have ended his romance with Jen for fame. Put another way … things were going fine, but when he had the chance to become the Official Rose Distributor, well, he chose that. Viall denies this was ever the case to the media. “No, none of that was remotely true,” Viall replied to reporters on a conference call, responding to the story circulated by Lauren Himle. Speaking to Detroit’s The Ticket radio station, Himle said, “I am not a big fan of [his]. He dated my great friend Jen on Bachelor in Paradise .” That he did. But what happened after the show? “It was my understanding,” Lauren went on, that Nick and Jen “were still seeing each other after the show completed.” So what happened between the once-happy pair? Himle said, when asked about their status, that Viall and Saviano were “still together in a relationship … they were solid a week ago.” This was right after The Bachelor announcement. As for Saviano’s take on Viall as The Bachelor? “About that,” she tweeted, with a GIF of Amy Schumer chugging from a YUGE glass of wine. Ah, Nick. Trouble seems to follow him everywhere. In other Viall news, the 36-year-old sales exec reportedly already slept with one of his 30 contestants from his upcoming turn on The Bachelor …   … before the new season even began taping this fall. He and Elizabeth Sandoz boned at Tanner Tolbert and Jade Roper’s wedding, after which Nick didn’t call or talk to her until this reunion. (Nick has reportedly slept with seven women from the franchise; We only know of four, but if you include all three from his Fantasy Suite dates …) Yup. Pretty awesome/terrible/not surprising at all. View Slideshow: The Bachelor Season 21 Contestants: Meet Nick’s Ladies! According to an Us Weekly  show insider’s account. “During the first day of taping, all of the girls came out, and he actually had slept with one of them at a wedding and never called her again.” Can you imagine the awkwardness in that room?! Neither of the two acknowledged their past sexual encounter after reuniting on set, but word got out, and eventually leaked to the crew. Nick was not happy, either … for several reasons. A second insider says Viall told Bachelor producers that he “didn’t want any girls on the show that he already knew or had a date with.” “It was just a waste of a person being there.”  Wow, Nick. That’s … blunt, if nothing else. The Bachelor Sneak Peek: Meet Nick Viall’s Girls! We can only imagine how this season will play out. We already know the names of the women who make the top four, and  who Nick Viall chooses with his final rose , but how does he get there? How much damage can he leave in his wake? All we can say with certainty is that when it comes to Nick, if his three previous turns on this franchise are any indication, it’ll be entertaining. Potentially a train wreck … but entertaining.

You Know What’s Awesome? This New Trailer For Shame

From Sideways to Little Miss Sunshine to Slumdog Millionaire and Black Swan , Fox Searchlight has long proven more than adept at marketing its awards-season wares. Thus the distributor seemed a logical choice to acquire Shame , the acclaimed sex-addict drama that was near-instantly presumed to be destined for an accursed NC-17 rating. But now Searchlight, continuing its “What, us worry?” campaign on behalf of the Steve McQueen-directed, Michael Fassbender-starring gem, may have hit its stride.

The Cove Screenings Canceled in Japan as Protests Mount (Video)

After working diligently to raise money to translate The Cove into Japanese, and advocating like crazy to get it allowed into theaters in the country, the team behind the ground-breaking documentary is finding it is being met with little enthusiasm. Exclusive: Lloyd’s New Song, ‘Set Me Free’ — Check It Out Here!

Singer signs with Interscope instead of Young Money. By Shaheem Reid Lloyd Photo: Universal Motown Coming off the success of Young Money’s “Bed Rock” and factoring in their previous track record of hit singles like “Every Girl,” everyone figured that singer Lloyd and his good friend and fellow New Orleans native Lil Wayne would officially join forces. Since Lloyd got his release from the Inc. last year, him going to Young Money seemed like a forgone conclusion. However, a deal could not be worked out — but 25-year-old MC is excited about his new deal with Interscope. “Baby and Wayne were definitely the first people to reach out to me. I talked to them about a deal. That’s who I thought I’d end up with in my heart,” Lloyd explained to MTV News. “The problem is that Young Money/ Cash Money is exclusive to Universal/ Motown. As you and I know, that’s where I did my last two albums. I wasn’t excited about going back. I tried to do a Young Money/ Cash Money deal through another distributor, but it couldn’t be done. At the end of the day, I’m still family, though.” The singer says despite not signing with his “family,” it doesn’t hamper any chances of future collaborations. Lloyd is currently accessing assessing who he’ll get in the lab with. “I don’t feel the need to rush to release a album. It’ll be out later this year,” he said. “I got a couple of title options, but I’m not 100 percent sure yet,” he explained. “I love the way Interscope gets down. I love the way Jimmy [Iovine, label head] gets down. I’ve always had a good working relationship with Polow [da Don, producer]. Having that creative partner is something I wanted to have, since the very beginning, to have that one creative partner. Mike [Jackson] had it with Quincy [Jones], Janet [Jackson] had it with Jimmy [Jam] and Terry [Lewis]. Justin has it with Timbaland. I feel that me and Polow have something special. I’m really looking forward to that. I also admire Jimmy [Iovine] as a producer. He loves producers. He’s got Will I Am, Dr. Dre, Polow, the Neptunes, Timbaland. That’s what he does. I’m looking forward to it.” MTV News exclusively received a coy of a new Lloyd single. It’s called “Set Me Free” and features Mystikal. It’s Mystikal’s first song since going to jail for sexual assault six years ago. The MC was released in January . “I’m a beast, I’m a dog,” Lloyd sings. “Let me off the leash so I can set it off/…Feels like I got the whole world in my pants/ Girl you can set me free/ I’m feeling like Ali/ In his prime/ I’m a P.I.M.P. ” Mystikal comes in towards the end of the record with his famous southern howl. Myst also address his incarceration: “Stop lyin’ on me/ I smash these rappers and pick up trash at the same time, homie/ Young Lloyd called me and told me to sick the dog on ’em … I got meaner from being behind that fence … I hit the streets and rappers ran like shouts in the crowd/ Y’all was out here eating shrimp/ I was on that workout bench/ But I’m back on the beach/ Muscle up!” “The N.O. is gonna love me for this one,” Lloyd said. “The world is gonna love me for that song. It is the first of many [singles]. Since the album won’t be coming out until later this year, that’s more than enough time to get many songs out. We’re gonna start hitting them pretty hard. “I had two major goals in 2009,” he added. “One was to get off the Inc., which I did. The other was to get back on radio and TV, which I did with ‘Bedrock.’ ” His plan for 2010 is laid flat as well. “Signing with Interscope was just a small step,” the Atlanta transplant offered. “This year I’m really focused on a classic album and staying in the public eye with more guest features. I have a few surprise collaborations coming. In the past two months I’ve recorded some really surprising features that will shake up the game a little bit.” Related Videos Check Out A Preview Of Lloyd’s ‘Set Me Free’ Related Artists Lloyd
