Legal. “Most Portlanders, like most Americans, are fed up with our nation’s failed marijuana prohibition laws,” said David Boyer of the Marijuana Policy Project. “We applaud the voters of Portland for adopting a smarter marijuana policy, and we look forward to working with city officials to ensure it is implemented.” On an election day that saw Bill de Blasio elected NYC Mayor and Chris Christie re-elected Governor of New Jersey, this issue was also closely watched. Medical marijuana is already legal in Maine, and the Portland referendum is seen as largely symbolic, as it does not override state or federal laws. Anyone who sent a note or a gift congratulating Kate Middleton and Prince William in the past month got a thank you note – and a royally cute one at that! The 31-year-olds are sending notes of thanks to the well-wishers who reached out following the birth of the Royal Baby, Prince George, on July 22. The image on the front of the card is one of the first Royal Baby photos , in which the family stood on the steps of the Lindo Wing after his birth. Kate Middleton is wearing her instantly-infamous cornflower blue and white polka dot Jenny Packham dress, cradling Prince George in her arms. Reads a note on the back of the card: “Their Royal Highnesses have been overwhelmed by the wonderful messages and gifts they have received and send you their warmest thanks and best wishes.” A spokesperson said they “are slowly going through a backlog” of all the warm wishes sent by members of the public, and cards will continue to be sent out. The duo also sent cards to those who congratulated them on their pregnancy late last year, and that card featured Kate in another Jenny Packham frock. Symmetry. And gracious beauty. Hopefully, more Prince George photos will be released and used on more Royal Family stationary … holiday cards, perhaps? Fingers crossed!

With Selena’s new album , “Stars Dance,” going on sale in two weeks, the track “Love Will Remember” leaked online today – and it appears to be kicked off by a voicemail left for Gomez by Bieber. Selena Gomez – “Love Will Remember” “Hey babe, it’s me,” the recording says. “I just want to call and tell you that I love you so, so, so, so much. I just wanted to let you know that you are my princess. You are worthy of all the love in the world. You are the love of my life.” Selena has already admitted the track is about her ex, which is made rather obvious when one listens to the kind of lyrics that would make Taylor Swift proud. Selena sings about a love lost and a special romance, telling InStyle in May of the single: “That’s the most personal track on the record, for sure… It’s not an aggressive approach to what people are probably expecting. I’m sure he’ll [Justin] love it too.” But will he love his personal words to his then-girlfriend being exposed to the world in such a manner?

The relatively bare bones nature of the video has both fans and critics wondering whether it was even finished or if it was posted prematurely, however.
