Rockstar Games Announces ‘Red Dead Online’, To Launch As A Beta In Nov.

Source: Rockstar Games / Red Dead Redemption 2 We are just about a month and a few days from the global launch of Rockstar Games epic western Red Redemption 2 . Today the game studio announced the forthcoming game will have its own online component as well. Just like Grand Theft Auto V , Red Dead Redemption 2’s experience will be expanded with a massive online multiplayer experience with Red Dead Online . The online mode will be an “evolution” of the previous Red Dead Redemptio n game’s multiplayer mode. Utilizing Red Dead Redemption 2’s gameplay as a foundation, players will be able to traverse the games massive open world either alone or with friends if you so choose as well as competitive and cooperative gameplay experiences. Players can also look forward to constant updates and features that will keep the online experience fresh for all players. Rockstar also revealed that Red Dead Online will not launch alongside Red Dead Redemption 2’s single player game but will arrive separately in November in beta mode and for a good reason. The studio seemingly learned from the rocky launch of GTA V’s multiplayer mode Grand Theft Auto Online that was riddled with problems from the jump. They also want to allow players to be wholly acclimated with the game’s controls before Red Dead Online arrives. When asked by IGN about Red Dead Online’s absence on launch day Imran Sarwar, Director of Design at Rockstar North stated: “Also, as we have learned from experience when launching Online games at this scale, there are bound to be a few issues, and we want to ensure that we have time to gradually roll out the game and make the experience as smooth as we possibly can for everyone. We believe this way of rolling out will give people the best overall experiences with both single player and multiplayer.” We can’t wait and if Red Dead Online is anything like GTA Online you can expect it to give the game a very long life. Red Dead Redemption 2 arrives on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 October 26, 2018, the online mode will be free to anyone with a copy of the game on any system. — Photo: Rockstar Games/Red Dead Redemption 2

Lindsay Lohan: Sued For Acting Like Lindsay Lohan!

Brace yourself for some news that’s sure to shock you to your very core: Lindsay Lohan is getting sued ! We kid, of course. LiLo gets sued all the time. What’s different about this case is that we can actually sympathize with the idiotic behavior that will soon once again land Lindsay in LA County Court. (Where she probably has her own coffee mug at this point.) According to TMZ, Lindsay is being sued by her former driver for stiffing him on his bill. All told, she owes close to $28,000. Not exactly chump change, and we can see why the dude is pissed, but it’s important to note that the bill is for services rendered between August 23, 2012 and October 21, 2012, a time when Linds really had a lot on her plate. It may not have been the absolute craziest period in Lindsay’s life, but here’s a rundown of what she had going on: Her father staged an “emergency intervention” and the police were called. She was arrested for a hit and run . She brought jewel thieves to a party and, as jewel thieves are wont to do, they robbed the place. You get the idea. All of this reminds us of the old days. Hell, we can sit here all day and reminisce about the crazy court cases Linds has been involved with. Remember the time she sued the makers Grand Theft Auto because she thought she had a license on wearing bikinis and being blonde?! Ah, memories. Anyway, the moral of this story is: Lindsay Lohan will always be in debt, her life will always be a mess, and she will always have an excuse for “forgetting” to pay you.  So just don’t provide her any services, ever. Except for you, taxi drivers. We can’t have this booze sponge out on the road after a night out.

Animal Rights Group Demands Boycott of Grand Theft Auto V

Killing hookers and blowing up policemen? No big deal. But cutting off the heads of animals? Now we have a problem! Stating that Grand Theft Auto V is pushing “institutionalized violence” by permitting users to engage in animal torture, Jack Carone from In Defense of Animals tells TMZ that the video game is a terrible influence on users and should be boycotted. Grand Theft Auto V Reviews, Details “The makers of this game have traded decency for money. Encouraging the darkest impulses of young people is not an admirable pursuit,” Carone says , adding that “animals don’t need any more targets painted on them in the name of fun.” The murder of animals is not a new Grand Theft Auto feature, but with the latest version clearing $1 billion in just three days on the market, perhaps this organization has finally taken notice. So, you tell us: Should there be a boycott of Grand Theft Auto V?   Yes, the game encourages violence! No, it’s all in good fun! View Poll »

Grand Theft Auto V Gameplay Trailer: Mr. Smith, Your Court Is Now Available

Grand Theft Auto has long held the stigma of being “that game where you shoot everyone and run over hookers” but it appears they are trying to class up their act with Grand Theft Auto V. Grand Theft Auto V Trailer Yes, we can discuss how there’s three main characters now instead of just the one. Sure, it’d be easy to focus on ‘voyeur’ aspect included with those three characters.  However, I’d rather take a moment and talk about the leisure aspects in this new Grand Theft Auto … They are playing tennis now? Parachuting? Golfing? 4-Wheeling? Thank heavens there was a dude trying to shove a foot down a dirty toilet or I would have forgotten what game we were looking at! And for the love of all that is holy, what is with the narrator of this gameplay trailer? I fully expected her to tell me all about the spacious floor plan that is just perfect for entertaining.  All that aside, Grand Theft Auto V looks promising, if for no other reason than I can play a nice game of tennis on the weekend to unwind from my stressful job.
