Concert and recording superstar Eydie Gorme has died at the age of 84. She performed everything from ballads to bossa nova with singing partner and husband Steve Lawrence, leaving an indelible mark on music in the 1960s. “Legendary singer and performer Eydie Gorme passed away peacefully at Sunrise Hospital following a brief illness,” her publicist, Howard Bragman, said. “She was surrounded by her husband, son and other loved ones.” In his own statement today, Steve Lawrence said: “Eydie has been my partner on stage and in life for more than 55 years. I fell in love with her the moment I saw her and even more the first time I heard her sing.” “While my personal loss is unimaginable,” he writes of his spouse of more than a half-century, “the world has lost one of the greatest pop vocalists of all time.” On The Ed Sullivan Show, in showrooms in the Catskills and in Las Vegas, Carnegie Hall and beyond, Steve and Eydie were longtime audience favorites. My name is Sam, I’m 14 years old from California and on October 2nd, 2012 my life changed. I met Justin, Kenny, Pattie, Ryan, Fredo, and Allison. I have been a belieber since 2008 and I honestly never had hope in meeting Justin. Ever. I honestly love him so much it hurts and what hurt even more was me thinking that I could never meet him. I was wrong, my best friend Elisabeth Tracy changed my life forever. She always believed in me, she knows and knew how much Justin means to me and how much he has changed my life, he saved me. It was my 13th birthday and everyone at my party was gossiping around at how I was gonna freak out at what she had got me. Finally it came to presents and I opened hers last. She had got me tickets to see Justin on October 2nd! Not only that, but they were on the floor! I cried so hard I couldn’t breathe. I couldn’t believe it. A couple months before the show I was in English class, and I got a text from her saying, “SAM, OCTBER SECOND YOU ARE MEETING JUSTIN.” I didn’t know if she was kidding, I was shaking. She told me she got me meet and greets because she knew how much Justin meant to me and it meant a lot to her that I met him and was happy. I fell out of my chair to the floor and started balling. October 2nd finally arrived and it was the best day of my life. Pattie was talking to me and I thanked her for bringing my husband into this world. When I was up next to meet Justin, I started crying and I felt someone hugging me. I turn around and it was Kenny! Finally I entered the black curtain and my whole world was in front of me. I literally fell to the floor and Justin had the biggest smile on his face and he welcomed me into his arms while saying, “Aww, come here sweetheart.” I hugged him, told him I loved him and thanked him for saving me. He told me he loved me too and said, “Thank you for being here for me.” We took the picture and I said I loved him one last time and I had to leave. It was truly the best thing that has ever happened to me. Then it was time for the concert and I was 4th row from the stage! Next thing I know, Ryan Good was sitting behind me! He’s hilarious! Carly started singing and Fredo came up to me and was singing ‘Call Me Maybe’ to me! When Justin came on, I started crying again, it was beautiful. During OLLG, he came to my side of the stage, looked right at me and winked. I was dead! I will never forget this day and I truly do believe in all my dreams now. I want everyone to know that dreams do come true, just seriously never say never. That is the greatest lesson I ever learned from the greatest person. Gotta use your big head sometimes… New York Man Falls To His Death After Sex Proposition And Robbery On Rooftop Via NYDailyNews A 50-year-old Brooklyn man who fell to his death from atop a four-story building was lured onto the roof by two women who had promised him sex, police sources said Thursday. Instead of showing Robert Reichl a good time, the women led him into a trap shortly after midnight on Wednesday — and stole $2,000 in cash he had been carrying. Three toughs were waiting on the roof of the building on Fourth Ave. near 47th St. in Sunset Park, the sources said, and at some point the men attacked Reichl. One of them, Ruben Santiago, sprayed Reichl in the face with a chemical spray believed to be mace that caused the victim to reel back, lose his balance and fall off the rooftop, the source said. Reichl, a Bay Ridge resident, landed in the rear courtyard of the building, where he died. Police have arrested three people in connection with Reichl’s death — Santiago, 23, Glennys Reyes, 23, and Randy Ortiz, 24, according to the sources. Reyes was one of the two women who set up Reichl, and Ortiz was one of the two men with Santiago on the rooftop, the sources said. Investigators are still hunting for the second woman and the third man. Detectives believe the five were acting in concert and split the money afterward, one police source said. Here’s former super babe Blake Lively at the premiere of ‘Turbo’. I say former because ever since she hooked up with Ryan Reynolds her talent and looks have gone down the tubes (which is one and the same). I believe banging Ryan is a cancer to any woman’s career. Take Alanis Morissette and Scarlett Johansson for example. Alanis’ music was always crap, but now its non existent and Scarlett had one of the greatest racks of all time and now she’s practically boobless. So my advice to Blake is to get away from this dude as fast as you can. And when you finally break free from this douche, I’ll be waiting for you in my mom’s basement.
All I want to say about Lindsay Arnold is that she has the greatest booty I’ve ever seen in a pair of leggings and that I’d be honored if she’d gave me the opportunity to fulfill one of my life long dreams and let me motorboat it for 5 seconds. Consider it like Make A Wish, except I’m not dying.
So the Lingerie Bowl exists. I never really paid attention to it. I just assumed it was a promotion around the Superbowl to generate some hype, make some extra money. You know, a clever marketing stunt for a beer company…. But I guess the fact that the world is perverted, and love lingerie, made them realize making a league for the shit was the right thing to do….and here is a clip of one of the players twerking on her opponent in what may be the greatest moment ever in sports….if you can consider this a sport…which I do…because I also consider snorting lines a sport, it gets my heart rate up….and makes me sweat….so I’m not the best judge of these things.
