Megan Fox: Pregnant?!?

According to the latest issue of Star Magazine , Megan Fox is pregnant with what we can only assume will be the best looking child in modern history. “They just found out and are incredibly excited,” an insider says of Fox and Brian Austin Green , adding that it’s too early in the term to go public just yet: “They are only telling close friends and family members.” One of whom, if this report is true, apparently leaked the tidbit to the tabloid in exchange for a payday. Fox, who married Green in 2010, serves as the stepmother to his 10-year old son, Kassius, from Green’s relationship with ex Vanessa Marcil. The couple actually finds itself in legal hot water these days, too, as a paparazzi member is suing the former Beverly Hills 90210 star for assault, claiming Green beat him up on a beach in Hawaii a few months ago while being egged on by Fox. Even if that report is accurate… a baby is on the way! Adorable! We wish Fox and Green all the best.

‘The Voice’ Unveils 24 Finalists Before Going Live

Cee Lo appears most moved by his teams’ performances as he breaks into tears during rehearsals. By James Dinh Tony Vincent in “The Voice” Photo: NBC It’s the final round of face-offs for the contestants of “The Voice.” On Monday night (March 26) the remainder of the aspiring singing superstars dueled it out in the last stage in front of judges Christina Aguilera , Adam Levine , Blake Shelton and Cee Lo Green . Fans of “The Voice” will begin to have their say in the performance outcomes when the NBC series goes live next Monday. Team Christina As one of the night’s most interesting duels, Xtina paired up THE LiNE and Moses Stone to tackle the Rolling Stones’ “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction.” Worried about how they’ll sound, the country twosome tried to take advice from their pop-star judge. “If you’re going to be a career artist, I think you’re going to need to know how to morph into kind of someone else’s energy,” she proclaimed. Alongside mentor Lionel Richie, Xtina urged Moses to explore his voice and utilize his gift to its full potential. Problems arose over at THE LiNE’s prep time, with Jewel criticizing their “wedding band” similarities. But everyone caught heat during rehearsal time when Xtina called her team out for not using the stage entirely. Moses sounded like the champion mid-performance when he broke off for an original verse during the performance, but ultimately Adam and Blake favored THE LiNE. Xtina ended up going her own way and choosing Moses. “Just to know that I made my couch happy and she was really proud of me means the world to me,” Moses said backstage. Team Blake With only one pair of contestants left in the game, Blake told Naia Kete and Jordan Rager they would take on Jason Mraz’s “I’m Yours.” Even though the country superstar admitted that the tune would probably fit more to Naia, he said Jordan had a more of an opportunity “to blow people away.” Later on, Blake’s decision to take Jordan out of his element appeared problematic as he revealed that he doesn’t harmonize very often. And mentor Miranda Lambert wasn’t completely impressed with Jordan’s take, admitting that he had a lot of work to do. “A lot of the work is not about singing. It’s about inside his heart and his mind,” she said. Kelly Clarkson served as Naia’s mentor and suggested that the singer take some vocal risks toward the end of the number. Both contestants took a friendly approach to their battle as they spent much of the number circling each other with smiles. Even though Jordan lost some of his nerves, Naia shined the brightest with her vocal acrobats and styling, and because of that, all the judges, including Blake, sided with the neo-soul songstress. Team Cee Lo Cee Lo’s first pairing of the night exemplified how unpredictable some battles can get as he brought together James Massone and WADE. Upon telling the couple that they’d be battling it out to Cyndi Lauper’s “True Colors,” James showed some major hesitation and lack of confidence, saying the song is simply “not his style.” Putting in some rehearsal time, the duo ended up bringing the judge to tears as they make their way through the 1986 classic. “Oh my God. It’s something about that song that makes me cry. I’m proud of y’all, man,” Cee Lo said. Even though the odds appeared in WADE’s corner, he struggled to stay on pitch and lacked the confidence displayed during rehearsal time. After some words from the judges, the vote was unanimous: James was sent to the next stage in the competition. For the first time in the night, Justin Hopkins and Tony Vincent appeared content to battle it out over one of Cee Lo’s all-time favorite songs, Journey’s “Faithfully.” In pairing up two very different singers, Justin admitted his fear over Tony’s range and Broadway background. Emotions got the best of Cee Lo once again during prep time, as he removed his sunglasses and wiped away some tears. During mentoring time, Babyface came in to advise Tony and suggested the vocalist step up his strengths. “Tony’s a pro!” the R&B veteran admitted. Justin appeared to take more away from his one-on-one mentoring time with Cee Lo and Ne-Yo, as he attempted to mirror some of their notes. Once the duo began their performance, it became clear that both contestants put a very different spin on the Journey classic. However, Cee Lo found Tony’s vocal styling more suitable in comparison to Justin’s rough twist and advanced him to the next round. Team Adam Mr. Maroon 5 wasted no time in announcing that Nicolle Galyon and Mathai would go head-to-head, covering Sara Bareilles’ “Love Song.” Surprised that the judge would pair such a contrast of vocalists together, Mathai appeared worried about how she would fare against Nicolle. And, as expected, Nicolle talked to Adam about beginning the song on the piano — only to be warned that her vocals shouldn’t be compromised because of the instrument. “I’m really excited to rock out on the piano,” she said, adding, “It’s really an advantage. It makes me … me.” With the guidance of Adam and mentor Robin Thicke, Nicolle feared Mathai’s abundance of attitude. Mentor Alanis Morissette was on hand to help out Mathai in techniques the young singer wasn’t familiar with. Rehearsal time shook things up for the duel, as Adam decided to eliminate Nicolle’s piano. Ultimately, it is Mathai who prevailed over Nicolle for stage presence and the skill that was emphasized during rehearsal time. Up next for Adam’s team was a duel between Karla Davis and Orlando Napier. Despite his initial song pick (Hall & Oates’ “Rich Girl”), Karla and Orlando were relieved when Adam switched up his choice in favor of the Commodores’ “Easy.” Leaving her nerves behind, Karla let go and used her 20-minute prep time to shake off reservations with Alanis Morissette as her mentor. Orlando benefited from his time with Robin Thicke by learning about note enunciation. Orlando kicked off the performance with some strong notes and confidence, but Adam picked Karla as his winner, citing how much she’s blossomed throughout the competition. Moving On

Paramore, 30 Seconds To Mars Battle In Sweet 16 Of Musical March Madness

Linkin Park goes head-to-head with Evanescence in another huge contest … voting in all Sweet 16 matchups ends Tuesday! By James Montgomery Paramore’s Hayley Williams Photo: Getty Images After two rounds of upsets and upheaval, MTV’s Musical March Madness has finally reached the Sweet 16, where things really start to get interesting. Because at this point in the tournament, only the strong remain: Our last two champions are both still alive, as are the last two runners-up. There are the perennial powerhouses still looking for that elusive MMM title, and a few hard-to-kill underdogs, too, each hoping to shock the world. And with matchups that include Evanescence vs. Linkin Park, Paramore vs. 30 Seconds to Mars and Green Day vs. James Durbin, this year’s Sweet 16 is shaping up to be one for the ages. And if your favorite band is still alive, you can help them move one step closer to the MMM title by voting now. Vote for your favorite band, discuss and share on Facebook and Twitter in the MTV Musical March Madness interactive bracket! But you’ve got to hurry; voting in all Sweet 16 matchups closes Tuesday, March 27, at midnight ET, and on Wednesday, the tournament moves to the Elite 8. And since time is short, we’re gonna cut right to the chase … here’s a look at all the Sweet 16 matchups in MMM 2012. Midwest It’s #5 My Chemical Romance versus #16 AWOLNATION in the top half of the bracket, and we’d say this one should be a cakewalk for the mighty MCR … except, just to reach the Sweet 16, AWOL has already fought their way past #1 the Black Keys and the tournament-tested Rise Against!, which means they’ll probably be a tougher test than most imagine. Still, though they might face a struggle, it’s difficult to not see MCR moving on here. The same can’t be said about the matchup in the bottom half of the region, however, as #7 Metallica squares off against #14 Five Finger Death Punch, in a hard-hitting, heavy-riffing battle that truly is impossible to predict. Metallica disposed of Guns N’ Roses in the opening round, then rallied to overtake Sum 41 in round two. (thanks, John Cena! ) Meanwhile, Five Finger blew out #3 Pearl Jam in the first round, and then withstood a late charge from #11 Chevelle to secure their spot in the Sweet 16. Who comes out on top here? In a pinch, we’ll take Metallica, though this one seems destined to come right down to the wire. West Defending MMM champs Green Day draw #16 James Durbin in the top half of the bracket, and, much like the MCR/AWOL matchup, on the surface, this one looks like it’ll be Green Day in a rout. But at this point, Durbin has dumped #1 Foo Fighters and #8 Best Coast, both by huge margins. Can he dethrone the champions and advance to the Elite 8? You know what? We’re going to say yes. Consider yourselves on upset alert, Green Day. In the bottom of the West bracket, it’s #11 Adam Lambert versus #15 Panic! at the Disco, in a matchup that pits two of MMM’s most fervent fanbases against each other. Both acts have been through the March Madness wringer before, but neither has been able to make it over that final hump. Could this be the year one of them raises the big gold trophy? Perhaps. This is another contest that’s going to be too close to call. East The march toward the inevitable Tokio Hotel/Coheed and Cambria showdown continues, as both draw lower-seeded opponents in the Sweet 16. In Tokio’s case, they get Toronto wailers F—ed Up, who have shocked everybody by taking down Mumford & Sons and Radiohead during their dream run to the Sweet 16. Sadly, we’re pretty sure that run ends here, as Tokio have been flexing their MMM muscles throughout the tourney, and may very well be the team to beat in 2012. Then again, they’ll have to get through 2010 champs Coheed and Cambria, who draw #11 Semi-Precious Weapons in their Sweet 16 matchup. And though SPW have battled past Fun. And Florence and the Machine just to make it this far, they’ve yet to go up against a fanbase like Coheed and Cambria’s Children of the Fence … and, well, let’s just say we’re already looking forward to Wednesday’s Tokio/Coheed Elite 8 battle. It’s sure to be epic. Vote for your favorite band, discuss and share on Facebook and Twitter in the MTV Musical March Madness interactive bracket! South We’ve saved the best for last. Because things are about to get hot down in the South, with a pair of heavyweight Sweet 16 matchups that are sure to barn-burners. In the top half of the bracket, it’s lone-remaining #1, Evanescence, taking on tournament-tested #5 Linkin Park. Amy Lee and company have yet to really be challenged in MMM 2012, pasting #16 Alabama Shakes and #9 Dave Matthews Band. Meanwhile, Shinoda, Bennington and the guys have had to fight every step of the way, holding off a late-charge from #12 At the Drive In and another huge rally from #4 Jack White just to advance. Something’s gotta give here … and, in a pinch, we’re taking Evanescence. Though, again, it’s gonna be close. Down in the bottom half of the bracket, it’s #2 Paramore against #6 30 Seconds to Mars, and to anyone who’s followed the tournament over the years, well, you know that this is basically the Duke/North Carolina of MMM. Both bands have come close to winning it all (Paramore were edged out in last year’s championship game), and both are supported by huge fan armies, so, yeah, this one is serious. We’ve honestly got no idea how it plays out, so instead, we’re just gonna sit back and enjoy this one. Is your favorite band still alive in the Sweet 16? Do you want to avenge an early exit? Well, get voting … polls in the Sweet 16 close Tuesday at midnight ET, and then we’ll head on to the Elite 8! The MMM title is within reach, and you can determine who’ll grab it. MTV’s 2012 Musical March Madness tournament has reached the Sweet 16! Voting runs until midnight ET on Tuesday, March 27, and winners are determined by fan votes, so if your favorite act is still alive, it’ll be up to you to guide them to glory. You can rally the troops on Twitter using the hashtag #MMM or by downloading one of our custom badges — but get ready, it only gets more difficult from here on out. ‘The Voice’ Recap: Erin Martin Wins One Strange Battle

Six more contestants are sent home as battle rounds continue and the live shows draw nearer. By John Mitchell Erin Martin on “The Voice” Photo: NBC The theme on Monday night’s (March 19) episode of “The Voice” seemed to be strange pairings and even more oddly matched songs. Nearly every team to enter the ring was working one, the other or both for the third battle round, which saw judges Christina Aguilera , Blake Shelton , Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green send six contestants home and add even more members to their respective teams to take to the upcoming shows. Let’s get right to it! Team Adam The first pairing of the night was Team Adam’s Pip and Nathan Parrett. Pip’s popularity during the blind auditions (he got all four judges to turn their chairs) intimidated Nathan from the start and the pair was given a tall order when Adam assigned them Amy Winehouse’s “You Know I’m No Good.” It’s no wonder, then, that mentor Robin Thicke’s major recommendation to Perrett was to up his confidence and get ready to sell it once he hit the stage. But while Thicke was busy giving Perrett a pep talk, Alanis Morrisette was advising Pip to take it down a notch and not over-sing the song Two clean-cut pop singers tackling Winehouse’s bluesy hit might seem strange, but it gave both an opportunity to show their range as vocalists and earned raves from all the judges. Ultimately, though, Pip’s stage presence and consistency won him a place on Team Adam for the finals. One of the night’s few pairings that made sense came later in the night, during Levine’s team’s second meeting in the ring, which saw raspy Angel Taylor go up against “sultry vocalist” (host Carson Daly’s words, not mine) Katrina Parker, singing “Bleeding Love” by Leona Lewis. Thicke had a lot of faith in Taylor, saying she had what it takes to win the whole thing if she remembered to bring emotion to her performance, but the judges didn’t feel the same. Parker brought it to the battle and won the support of Xtina, Blake, Cee Lo and ultimately Levine, who sided with the three judges and will take Parker with him to the live shows. Team Cee Lo Cee Lo created what had to be the night’s most awkward pairing: whispery Erin Martin and rock duo the Shields Brothers. Stylistically, the two couldn’t be more different — Martin kind of sounds like Macy Gray, while the Shields Brother tear into songs like your friendly neighborhood garage band. The strangeness extended to the mentor stage too, when the Bros were joined for rehearsal by Babyface, who called their first run-through “a challenge.” “I thought ‘Wayne’s World,’ ” he added. He asked them to express a softer side, and when they did, he seemed pleased that he could finally “hear your voices.” On her way into the ring, Martin was “100 percent confident” she would win and that “power [i.e. the Shields Brothers] isn’t talent, it’s just loud.” (Dis!) This battle was strange right down to the song: “What’s Love Got to Do With It” by Tina Turner. Christina raved about the performance, but the other judges weren’t so sure. The only thing Blake could really think to say was, “Erin, I am so glad you wore that.” Cee Lo called it “wonderfully strange” and chose Martin to move forward because he felt he would be better able to mold her unique voice while the Shield Brothers were too set in their garage-rock shtick. Team Christina Ashley De La Rosa became nervous the second Christina told her was going up against one of the show’s early front-runners, Jonathas, a father of two who lived in poverty as a child in Brazil. When they were given “No Air” by Jordin Sparks and Chris Brown, she started freaking out. During the blind auditions, Jonathas’ vocal similarity to Usher caused quite a stir, so Ashley worried that being given a song so firmly in his wheelhouse (there was no denying from the beginning that he’d sing the heck out of Chris Brown’s part in “No Air”) would play to his advantage. But in the end, his comfort with the style and choice not to step outside it and show the judges he could do something else worked against him. While he was a natural singing Brown’s smooth R&B, the song gave Ashley a chance to show off her range. She did a great job with Sparks’ part, and her effort was rewarded with a continued spot on Team Xtina. Team Blake The strange pairings continued as Team Blake’s Jermaine Paul, a former backup singer for Alicia Keys, and pop-singing Texas teenager AlyX hit the ring together to sing the mega-’80s classic “Get Out of My Dreams, Get Into My Car” by Billy Ocean. The song required a carefree attitude that mentor Miranda Lambert just wasn’t confident young AlyX had. “I’m not sure she’s ever had fun and cut loose,” Lambert said, prescribing “sassiness” if she wanted to pose much of a challenge against Jermaine. It was a futile effort. Paul owned the song and the judges let him know it. “I mean, come on, Jermaine, you made that song your own,” Xtina fawned. Adam and Cee Lo agreed. And while Blake offered AlyX an “A” for effort, he unsurprisingly went with Paul, sending AlyX packing. The night’s most dramatic performance was its last, between Team Blake’s Gwen Sebastian and Erin Willet. In addition to their respective backstories (more on that later), the pair are total opposites when it comes to their singing styles. “Gwen is a country singer; Erin couldn’t be anything farther from that,” Blake explained as his rationale for teaming the two. And like every other country singer in the competition, Sebastian was enamored with her mentor Lambert, saying of the country star, “Her voice evokes every emotion I want to as a singer.” Things took a turn just before the battle, however, when Erin revealed that her father, who is suffering from stage 4 pancreatic cancer, is not doing that well. In fact, he’d only been given days to live, but he wanted her to stay in the competition, “I’m trying to be as present as I can be,” Willett told Shelton, who praised her devotion to both her father’s wishes and the competition. “I’m going to push from a place of wanting my father to be proud of me,” Willett said before she went on. Each judge commented on how radically different the two singers’ vocal styles were when they hit the stage, and it divided them. Christina and Adam went with Erin while Cee Lo picked Gwen. In the end, Blake sided with Xtina and Adam and picked Willett, who dedicated her win to her father. Moving On

Lady Gaga Opens Up About Sometimes Feeling ‘Worthless’

Singer discusses being bullied as a child and her plan not to speak to the media ‘for a very long time’ on ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter.’ By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga talks with Oprah in “Oprah’s Next Chapter” Photo: Harpo/OWN Lady Gaga confessed she wants to have enough children to form a “soccer team” when she sat down with talk show maven Oprah Winfrey for “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” In the intimate chat, which took place at Gaga’s childhood home in New York City, the never-press-shy Gaga made another big announcement on the show. “Other than this interview, Oprah, I don’t intend to speak to anyone for a very long time. I have to shut out the noise,” Mother Monster told Winfrey, according to Gossip Cop . “The latest thing I do is I don’t read a damn thing. No press, no television. If my mom calls and says, ‘Did you hear about?’ I don’t want to know nothing about anything that is going on … I shut it all off.” Gaga’s mother was on hand for parts of the interview, sharing that in Gaga’s early days, her father thought she had a “screw loose” while she was performing at downtown New York nightclubs in her bra while lighting hairspray on fire. The superstar added that there’s one thing about her current act that her mother isn’t a big fan of. “She doesn’t like when I swear,” Gaga said, with her mother adding, “You’re effective without it.” Another part of the candid chat also focused on Gaga’s youth, during which she said she was frequently bullied. “There really is no difference between the bully and the victim,” she said. “I would like to do a psychological autopsy on as many bullies and victims as possible … How do we understand what breeds hatred, what breeds anger?” She added that despite all “all the praise you receive, something inside of you is scarred by those experiences … sometimes I feel worthless.” Parts of the special were also filmed at Harvard University last month. The singer and the talk show host were on hand at the prestigious college to launch Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation . “I just have one thing to say before we get started: We got Oprah! … Thank you from all of us — from my entire team, from my mother, from the bottom of the hearts of so many people who believe in what we’re doing today,” Gaga said at the launch. She explained that the foundation seeks to empower the youth of America, adding, “How can we inspire young people to know they have the power to be brave?” Related Videos MTV First: Lady Gaga Related Artists Lady Gaga

Paramore, Evanescence Survive To Second Round Of Musical March Madness

Foo Fighters, Mumford & Sons, Black Keys get bounced. Second-round voting is now under way in all Musical March Madness matchups! By James Montgomery Paramore’s Hayley Williams Photo: Getty Images After one week of MTV’s Musical March Madness , about the only sure thing is that there really is no sure thing. Because with one round in the books, we’re bidding adieu to three of our top-seeded bands — the Foo Fighters (bested by James Durbin), Mumford & Sons (shocked by F—ed Up) and the Black Keys (nipped by AWOLNATION) — upsets that prove no one is safe and assure us that, much like the actual NCAA tournament, everyone’s bracket is irrevocably broken (shout out to Mizzou and Duke … thanks, guys!). Vote for your favorite band, discuss and share on Facebook and Twitter in the MTV Musical March Madness interactive bracket! And though they survived, several other top-tier bands were taken down to the wire. In the West, third-seeded Blink-182 got by #14 Korn by a razor-thin margin, while #5 Linkin Park narrowly avoided an upset at the hands of #12 At the Drive-In. Over in the East, #2 Coldplay outlasted #15 Arctic Monkeys in a tightly contested thriller, and #3 Florence and the Machine needed a late rally to put away #14 Refused. But forget about style points: When it’s tournament time, all that matters is winning, and there are still 32 bands remaining in the quest for the MMM championship. And it’ll be up to you to guide them there: second-round voting is now under way in our interactive bracket and will run until Sunday, March 25, at midnight ET. Vote for your favorite band, discuss and share on Facebook and Twitter in the MTV Musical March Madness interactive bracket! So, whose dreams remain intact, and who was left to pick up the pieces? Let’s take a look back at all the first-round matchups! Midwest Upsets aplenty in the Midwest, as top seed the Black Keys were bounced on a last-second buzzer-beater by #16 AWOLNATION (total margin of victory: 41 votes), #2 Bon Iver and #3 Pearl Jam were upset by #15 Sum 41 and #14 Five Finger Death Punch, respectively, and #4 U2 were shown the door by #13 Modest Mouse (again … no one is safe). MMM powerhouses My Chemical Romance bucked the trend by blowing out #12 Death Cab for Cutie, though #6 Kid Rock got knocked off by #11 Chevelle in a close contest. Seventh-seeded Metallica outlasted a game Guns N’ Roses, but #8 Nickelback were edged out by #9 Rise Against! in a total barn-burner. And after all of that, there’s still plenty left to be decided. Here’s a look at our second-round matchups: #9 Rise Against! vs. #16 AWOLNATION #5 My Chemical Romance vs. #13 Modest Mouse #11 Chevelle vs. #14 Five Finger Death Punch #7 Metallica vs. #15 Sum 41 West More carnage in the West, as the top-seeded Foos got whooped by #16 James Durbin, #2 the Red Hot Chili Peppers went up in smoke against #15 Panic! at the Disco and #4 Maroon 5 got bounced by the late-surging Lana Del Rey. But in an epic battle, #1 Blink-182 was overpowered by #14 Korn (after more than 200,000 votes, they won by less than 800) and defending MMM champs Green Day showed true mettle by mauling #12 the Decemberists. Sixth-seeded Foster the People got bumped by #11 Adam Lambert, and #7 Van Halen were shown the door by #10 No Doubt. And look out for #8 Best Coast, who showed a surprising amount of power by blasting #9 Skrillex. Here’s who’s still left standing heading into round number two: #8 Best Coast vs. #16 James Durbin #5 Green Day vs. #12 Lana Del Rey #3 Blink-182 vs. #11 Adam Lambert #13 No Doubt vs. #15 Panic! at the Disco East Not nearly as brutal here, as #1 Mumford & Sons got waxed by #16 F—ed Up, while #2 Coldplay used a late rally to edge out #15 Arctic Monkeys, third-seeded Florence and the Machine survived #14 Refused and #4 Muse managed to move on after pasting #13 Gym Class Heroes. In a hotly debated (and borderline illegal ) showdown, #5 Arcade Fire were bested by #12 Tokio Hotel (there were 2.1 million votes cast in this one alone) and #6 Fun. fell to the mighty fanbase of #11 Semi Precious Weapons. Not surprisingly, #7 the Shins got smoked by #10 Coheed and Cambria, and #8 Radiohead withstood a late charge from #9 Bruce Springsteen to move on. So after all that carnage, here’s a look at our second-round matchups: #8 Radiohead vs. #16 F—ed Up #4 Muse vs. #12 Tokio Hotel #3 Florence and the Machine vs. #11 Semi Precious Weapons #2 Coldplay vs. #10 Coheed and Cambria Vote for your favorite band, discuss and share on Facebook and Twitter in the MTV Musical March Madness interactive bracket! South Say hello to the only #1 seed still standing: Evanescence, who dispatched of #16 the Alabama Shakes with shocking ease. Second-seeded Paramore throttled a ( fundamentally sound ) #15 Gotye, while #3 Kings of Leon continued their trend of MMM sucktitude by getting blasted by #14 Phoenix. Fourth seed Jack White did his part by beating back #13 Shinedown, and #5 Linkin Park survived #13 At the Drive-In. The always-dangerous 30 Seconds to Mars thumped #11 Sleigh Bells, but #7 Cage the Elephant fell victim to #10 Ke$ha and her epically toned pelvic muscles . And in a battle true to their late-rising fanbases,#9 Dave Matthews Band rode one final surge of voting to overcome #9 My Morning Jacket. Don’t get too excited just yet, DMB fans, because Evanescence is next. Here’s a look at our round-two tilts in the South: #1 Evanescence vs. #9 Dave Matthews Band #4 Jack White vs. #13 At the Drive-In #6 30 Seconds to Mars vs. #14 Phoenix #2 Paramore vs. #10 Ke$ha So, with one week in the books, 32 teams remain alive. But just who will reign supreme? Well, that’s all up to you: Voting is now live in all second-round matchups … so get cracking. MTV’s 2012 Musical March Madness Tournament heads to the second round beginning Monday (March 19). Kate Middleton Honors Irish Guards on St. Patrick’s Day

Now that’s St. Patrick’s Day fashion done right. Kate Middleton continued run of recent royal festivities with her husband away on military duty in the Falkland Islands as she set out to Aldershot, England, to greet and charm the Irish guards on Saturday, March 17. Here’s one of our favorite Kate Middleton photos from the event: Clad in an emerald coat dress cinched at the waist, the lovely Kate accessorized with a brown cap, matching pumps, and a bloom of shamrocks on to her lapel. Kate Middleton also donned a clover pin that once belonged to The Queen Mother, Prince William’s great-grandmother, who passed away in 2002. After presenting soldiers with a basket of shamrocks (a tradition dating back to 1901), the 30-year-old got into the spirit with a sip of Harvey’s Bristol Creme sherry. Her outing also included adorning the Regimental mascot Conmeal (a black dog) with a shamrock on his collar. All in a day’s work for the Duchess! [Photo: WENN.com]

Talkback: So, How About That Dark Shadows Trailer?

The first trailer for Tim Burton ‘s Dark Shadows was unveiled today, revealing what Burton really has up his sleeve for his adaptation of the cult soap opera. Namely: Gothic guffaws! 1970s humor! Johnny Depp playing vampire Barnabas Collins with that unmistakable Johnny Depp quirk! Seriously, is every Depp role for the rest of time going to feel like some variation on his Hunter Thompson? Anyway: Check out the trailer and unleash your thoughts. Head to Apple to watch the trailer in hi-res. I’m sure hardcore Dark Shadows fans will have the most to pick over here, seeing as Burton’s take isn’t quite exactly a straight translation of the ’60s-era melodrama to the big screen. And yet the tone feels so very Burtonesque, the sets and cinematography are lush and vintage, and despite the soundtrack of disco cliches it’s starting to grow on me. Plus, how can anyone resist sardonic teenager Chloe Moretz? Dark Shadows is in theaters May 11 and also features Eva Green , Helena Bonham Carter, Michelle Pfeiffer, Jonny Lee Miller, Jackie Earle Haley, Bella Heathcote, Gulliver McGrath, Christopher Lee, and Alice Cooper as himself, because of course.
