Photo by Tim Mosenfelder/Getty Images Chief Keef Is Catching A Huge Break After Felony DUI Charge Chief Keef is a lucky man, and he’s proving exactly that by dodging another jail bid. On Tuesday, TMZ reported that the Chicago rapper caught a serious break after his felony DUI charge, which he got when police pulled him over in his green Lamborghini driving through Miami. The DUI charge has been knocked down to a reckless driving charge after Keef pleaded no contest in the year-long legal battle. Keef has now been sentenced to six months of probation, and he’s also been ordered to submit at least 50 hours of community service–which is obviously a huge improvement from being behind bars. Even though Sosa got lucky in the case of avoiding a DUI charge, his legal trouble doesn’t quite stop there. Just last month, a Second Circuit Court judge in South Dakota denied a motion to dismiss a drug charge the rapper is still facing after his June 2017 arrest. In that particular instance, Keef was charged with marijuana possession of between two ounces and a half-pound along with possession of drug paraphernalia after Sioux Falls security reportedly found drugs in his carry-on bag. For his Sioux Falls case, Chief Keef’s legal team argued that the THC-infused edibles he was carrying are not considered marijuana under South Dakota law, because they contained no plant material. Unfortunately for Keef, though, the judge didn’t quite buy the excuse. Keef is absolutely no stranger to legal troubles, and the latest chapter of his never-ending legal saga comes just a couple of weeks after the release of the rapper’s Back From The Dead 3 mixtape. Hopefully for his fans, Keef will be able to stay clear of any trouble while touring and performing all of his new music around the world.
Toyota Green Hosts Delicious Clean Cooking Kick-Back The Toyota Green Initiative (TGI) is an environmental stewardship platform designed to celebrate sustainable lifestyles and inspire the Black community to go green(er) in our communities. Launched in 2010, TGI creates a growing array of engaging experiences like its swanky clean cooking kick-back that brought together handpicked media guests for an exclusive dinner party during Afropunk ATL weekend. Curated by super cool TGI coalition vet Malissa ‘Mali’ Hunter (who makes the ‘green’ message relatable through yoga sessions, organic recipes and unique perspectives as an eco-entrepreneur), the intimate gathering treated guests to a delicious taste of healthy eats with a hands-on twist. The family-style cooking demo & dinner was an extension of Toyota’s commitment to elevating the dialogue of sustainable living while spreading the message that clean eats can be tasty too. But wait, there’s more: Toyota Green updated a local Atlanta farm with an eco-friendly infusion of renewable plants and resources. This day of service happened in conjunction with Afropunk at the West End Community Urban Garden. For more info on Toyota’s Green Initiative click here .
Bill Cosby is in prison at last. But he doesn’t intend to stay that way. While Cosby furious compares #MeToo literal terrorists , he has saved some of that anger for his attorneys. He’s reportedly fired one of his lawyers RadarOnline reports that Bill Cosby has fired attorney Joseph Green from his legal team. Green was the lawyer who represented him during the sentencing process. Cosby is said to have made this decision while “in a fit of rage.” “He’s had it,” an insider tells the tabloid about why Cosby chose dismissal. The disgraced former comedian apparently believes that he can find other, more capable attorneys end his incarceration. Court documents suggest that Cosby has hired two new lawyers out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to assist with his appeals. Cosby is said to have referred to his own legally blind status when using a common turn of phrase. “Mr. Cosby said he can’t have the ‘blind leading the blind,’” the source reports. “And” as a result, the source says, he “told Mr. Green to take a hike over the phone.” So what brought on this termination? Apparently, Cosby wasn’t satisfied with Green’s work ethic. The source explains that Cosby gave Green the boot “when he found out he wasn’t working around the clock to get him out.” “Mr. Cosby told his legal team that the Pennsylvania groundhog could’ve done a better job,” the insider says. Cosby, whose net worth has been estimated to be in the hundreds of millions, is hoping that his fortune can provide an incentive for other attorneys. “He’s offering $250,000.00, cash,” the source claims. This alleged offer is available “to anyone who guarantees his freedom and follows through.” To be clear, we don’t think that Cosby means a literal jailbreak. He wants to walk out a free man, not a fugitive. In April, Cosby was found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent. This was in the case of the drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand. In September, he was sentenced to 3-to-10 years in prison. It seems unfortunately likely that Constand is the only one of Cosby’s accusers who will get justice in court. Some may find a measure of consolation in the knowledge that Cosby may live the rest of his life behind bars. Cosby has apparently been complaining that this is all a miscarriage of justice. In fact, he is reportedly pushing to have his conviction and sentence thrown out . And he wants the judge out, too. This sounds like a standard appeal to our admittedly not-legal-expert ears. Camille Cosby, who has stood by him through all of this, is said to be approaching things from a different angle. She apparently wants the judge investigated for “misconduct.” Which is very vague and unlikely to go the way that she wants. Even if Bill Cosby finds the most shrewd up-and-coming attorney who manages to find loopholes within loopholes and get him out … it’ll take a while. The wheels of justice are slow . Andrea Constand waited 14 years for this conviction. Appeals can take years. Just look at Cosby’s fellow disgraced public figure, Jared Fogle. That guy is still filing appeals from behind bars. For now, Cosby might want to get comfortable in prison and just do his best to avoid getting slapped by airborne chicken patties . View Slideshow: Bill Cosby: A Look at His Life Behind Bars
Selena Gomez is a mental case, but she’s also got a broken Kidney and a new set of tits, so that alone should make you feel sorry for her. I mean a terminal illness, with an autoimmune disease that works like the AIDS she may also have thanks to unprotected sex with Beiber before he found Jesus or maybe from the blood transfusions that happened when she ripped a kidney out of some groupie bitch she was housing for the sole purpose of harvesting her organs, you know when you want to get famous, some people would give their kidney for it… Point of the story is that while finding god, going in and out of rehab, finding a new Kidney, finding tits, quitting social media, finding out Bieber married Hailey Baldwin like god wanted him too…Selena put on some tight pants and let people take pics of it…because I guess sexualizing yourself in NEON Green…is the best way to show off your new face.. Prairie View A&M defeated Grambling State 22-16 in the 93 rd State Fair Classic at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas Saturday night, signaling that a changing of the guard in the SWAC Western Division could be at hand. The Panthers (3-3, 2-0 SWAC) led from wire to wire en route to ending the two-time defending SWAC champion G-Men’s 26-game conference winning streak and beating them for the first time since 2013. Prairie View won even though Grambling (1-3, 1-1 SWAC) held the Panthers’ two most explosive weapons in check relatively well. Quarterback Jalen Morton completed 23 of 34 passes for 269 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 62 more yards. But that was a sub-par performance for him compared to the 511 yards – which included a school record 255-yard rushing effort – and six touchdowns that he accounted for last week. Running back Dewonya Tucker, the leading rusher in all of Division I football, ran the ball 19 times for 72 yards. The Panthers compensated for their offensive unit’s lack of fireworks with a stifling defensive effort. They held the G-Men without a touchdown until the fourth quarter; they harassed Grambling quarterbacks the entire time, registering 10 sacks with defensive end Willie Green accounting for three, and they held the G-Men to 42 rushing yards on 32 attempts. Grambling had 278 yards total offense and only averaged 3.3 yards a play. Grambling’s only points through the first three quarters came on a safety when the G-Men tackled Tucker in the end zone for a one-yard loss and a safety late in the second quarter. Prairie View led 15-2 at the half on the strength of Morton’s first-quarter touchdown passes of 38-yards to Markcus Hardy and 80 yards to Tucker and Zach Elder’ s 43-yard field goal in the second quarter. The Panthers’ final points came on four-yard touchdown pass from Morton to Zarian Holcomb in the third quarter. Backup quarterback Geremy Hickbottom breathed life into Grambling’s offense when he entered the game in the fourth quarter. Hickbottom led the G-Men to a pair of touchdowns, and they recovered an onside kick following their second touchdown. But Panthers cornerback quashed their comeback hopes when cornerback Ju’Anthony Parke r came up with an interception with 1:42 remaining to seal the win. KEY RESULTS North Carolina A&T State 31, South Carolina State 16 – The Aggies regained their mojo after having their 15 game winning streak snapped in Week 4 with a home MEAC victory Thursday night. It wasn’t easy though. North Carolina A&T (3-1, 1-0 MEAC) had to overcome a 16-3 first half deficit – reeling off 28 unanswered points after starting the game in sloppy fashion. The Aggies pounded South Carolina State into submission with their running game. They generated 208 of their 311 rushing yards in the second half. Running backs Marquell Cartwright and Jah-Maine Martin combined to hammer the winless Bulldogs (0-4, 0-1 MEAC) for 249 yards. Cartwright, the leading rusher in the MEAC with 456 yards, topped the 100-yard mark for the second time in three games with 157 yards. Martin chipped in with 92. Martin got the Aggies’ offense in gear with a 40-yard touchdown run late in the second quarter that cut South Carolina State’s lead to 16-10 at the half. Quarterback Lamar Raynard brought the passing game to the party in the second half with three touchdown passes. Raynard ended the game with 253 yards through the air while improving his record to 29-1 as the Aggies’ starter. Morehouse 23, Kentucky State 21 – The Maroon Tigers used some second half magic for the second consecutive week as they came from behind to claim a road win that keeps them unbeaten. Morehouse (5-0, 1-0)) rallied from a 14-0 first-quarter deficit against Kentucky State (0-5, 0-2 SAIC) after coming from behind to beat Miles 23-21 on the final play a week ago. The Maroon Tigers’ 5-0 record gives them their best start since 2010 when they reached the Division II playoffs. Quarterback Jules St. Ge staked the Thorobreds to a 14-0 lead with touchdown passes of four and 24 yards to Demetrius Anderson and Jordan Level, respectively. Morehouse chipped away at the lead. Santo Dunn scored on a seven-yard run that capped an 18-play, 80-yard drive that took 8 minutes, 41 seconds off the clock. Fernando Sdelamora booted a 36-yard field goal to make the score 14-10 at the half. The Maroon Tigers went ahead 16-10 in the third quarter when Dunn scored his second touchdown on a one-yard run, and they extended the lead to 23-14 on quarterback Michael Sims’ 15-yard touchdown pass to tight end Ryan Edwards. The Thorbreds made the game interesting when Malik Saunders scored on a seven-yard touchdown run with 4:32 remaining in the game. Alcorn State 20, Southern 3 – The Braves were unwelcome guests as they spoiled the Jaguars’ Homecoming by defeating their SWAC rivals for the third consecutive year. Alcorn (3-2, 2-0 SWAC) won the contest in workmanlike fashion. They held Southern (2-3, 1-1 SWAC) to 139 total yards – 63 rushing and 76 passing – while pounding the Jaguars with a running game that produced 243 yards as four difference ball carriers gaining at least 50 yards. Quarterback Noah Johnson led Alcorn runners with 81 yards. Alcorn got a pair of field goals from Corey McCullough, a one-yard touchdown run by De’Shawn Waller and a 36-yard interception return for a touchdown by Qwynterrrio Cole for its points. Southern avoided being shutout when M Fontenot kicked a 28-yard field goal in the third quarter. Source: Kevin Kane / Getty When you think of Atlanta, you think of T.I., you think of a Welcome to Atlanta medley with Jermaine Dupri and Ludacris. You think of Gucci Mane, Future, Jeezy, even the Migos. But one thing that I would never think of when referring to Atlanta is Maroon 5. But the NFL doesn’t care what we think. Maroon 5, which is a great band by the way (we love Adam Whatshisname), has been tapped to headline the halftime show at the 2019 Super Bowl. As much as we love Adam though, he doesn’t make us think of Atlanta or even want to visit Atlanta. The NFL made a questionable decision. We couldn’t be the only ones who had feelings about the halftime show so we decided to check Twitter for reactions. It looks like we weren’t alone. Heretofore random Facebook user Laurel Hutsell said she had her son's school picture day all planned out. She picked out clothing for him to wear. She knew how she wanted his hair to look, she had talked to him about smiling nice and big and proudly. There was just one problem this summer when this 12-year old Missouri resdident when off to seventh grade for his class photo. He was wearing a bright green shirt. And the photographer was using a green screen behind his subjects in order to give parents a variety of background options from which they could choose for the final version. “We had this whole conversation, which makes this hilarious,'' Hutsell told Today about the snafu, adding: “We practiced the smile, like don't squint your eyes and look like someone is coming up beyond you, and run your fingers through your hair right before.” All this practice could not prepare young Carter for what was to come, however. Due to the combination of the green screen and the green shirt, well… scroll down to see what happened. (And don't be afraid to laugh; Laurel shared these pictures on Facebook and she finds them hilarious as well.) 1. The Shirt It’s nice, right? It stands out, it’s clean and pressed and Carter looks very handsome in it. 2. And Then This Happened! We agree: his hair and his smile were totally on point! Ready to see for yourselves, readers? 3. HA! “At least we know it’s 2018,” Laurel wrote as a caption to this first example of the green screen at work. 4. Come On, Green Shirt! It’s working so hard to show itself here. We’re dying of laughter. 5. He’s Feeling Gray in This One He’s just feeling so very, very, very gray. 6. Barney Probably Likes This One “Not even sure what to say about this one,” wrote the mother as a caption to this one. She’s nearly as funny as the pictures themselves. View Slideshow
Sara Sampaio is a Victoria’s Secret model who dates billionaires and who isn’t that interesting. She was some Portuguese model who no one I know in Portugal every heard of, despite Portugal having a population of 2000 people, all fishermen, but that I like to think they pretend is a Portuguese model, because they don’t want the world to know the Victoria’s Secret people make robot women in their factory behind all the cheaply made, sweatshop panties… What is interesting is that she made a fucking scene last year because a magazine she posed nude for posted the pics she signed off on…but is getting topless in Vogue because it’s Vogue… Which isn’t even interesting…..these were the pics she whined about…. She’s just bullshit clickbait for social media, like all these girls are, the more hits they get on social media…the more they get paid by the evil brand that created her…but she’s in a bikini..lookin’ good I guess…I mean she dates billionaires….as these models do…..
