Talk about slizzard gone all wrong! Via DailyNews reports : A DJ killed a man after waking up at a party to find a peen had been drawn on his face, the Old Bailey heard. Vanessa Barrows, who had hosted the ten-hour party at her apartment in Tooting, south London, told the court everyone at the party was enjoying themselves. But the joke turned sour when the ‘boy banter’ got out of hand and party-goer Anthony Thompson, 26, was punched to the ground outside. Mr Thompson’s head struck the floor and he died from brain damage, jurors heard. Thomas Evans, 32, from Morden, Surrey, denies manslaughter following the all-night party in February last year, claiming self-defense. She said Mr Evans had fallen asleep in an armchair when morning approached and some condoms had fallen out of his pocket. She added: ‘I got my lipstick out and drew a peen on his face. It was done for a laugh.’ Miss Barrows said that when Evans woke up, he had seen the funny side of it. She also nodded off and woke to find a row going on. She said: ‘It was just silly boy banter between Anthony and Tom. ‘Anthony was saying about who was stronger than who. It was a joke. They were friends.’ Miss Barrows said Mr Thompson had been trying to wind Evans up, while Evans was not reacting and was trying to calm things down. After people started to leave, she heard scuffling outside and found Mr Thompson on the ground when she got downstairs. Peter Clement, prosecuting, said that when Evans woke up he seemed to take the drawing on his face in ‘good spirits’. As the banter continued, Mr Thompson was heard to say in bravado: ‘I can knock any one of you blokes out.’ Evans replied: ‘You couldn’t knock me out.’ Mr Clement added: ‘That set off a chain of events.’ The trial continues. The FAA and other people are pissed off people did this aboard a commercial airplane. It’s the dance sensation that’s sweeping above the nation — at 30,000 feet. The Harlem shake has gone aloft, breaking out on commercial airline flights, and appearing in dozens of YouTube videos. Some of the videos were taped aboard planes on the ground. But the Federal Aviation Administration says it is looking into one instance of high-altitude dancing. And airline pilots, flight attendants and others say the fad presents serious safety and security problems. “It’s ridiculous,” said Jim Tilmon, a retired 29-year airline pilot. “A commercial airplane in flight … is not a dance hall, it’s not an entertainment stage, it’s not any of those things.” “It’s cute, novel, all that sort of stuff,” he said, adding, “Wrong place, wrong time.” Experts say they are not trying to be party poopers. “I hate to be a bureaucratic kill-joy,” agreed Steve Wallace, former director of the FAA’s Office of Accident Investigation. “I think there is a safety issue here. Turbulence injuries are the most common type of injuries, and they are virtually eliminated when people are in their seat belts.” Dancing is a bad idea even on the ground, said Veda Shook, president of the Association of Flight Attendants. She fretted about being labeled a “buzz kill.” But dancing impedes other passengers and makes it impossible for flight attendants to communicate with passengers, she said. Well let me start this out by saying that I never ever thought I was going to meet Justin. I always thought about what it would be like to meet him though, I always thought that it would be a dream come true. My dream came true on October 20th, 2012. My name’s Madisyn & I’m the girl who is shorter than Justin in the picture. I have always been a fan of Justin, I fell “in love” with him after I heard ‘One Time’ on the radio in 2009. I went to my first Justin Bieber concert on June 29th, 2010 and that’s the day I became a belieber. Some time around late May, early June Justin tweeted that the pre-sale tickets for people with Bieberfever memberships were going to go on sale in like 14 hours. I told my sister Shani (the girl who’s taller than Justin in the picture) that we needed to get meet & greets. The next day while sitting in geometry class I got a call from my sister saying that we had got first row seats and meet & greets to Justin’s concert. I almost shit my pants. I couldn’t believe it! Let’s fast forward to Saturday October 20th. The day we met Justin. I woke up that morning still not being able to register the fact that I was meeting Justin later in the day. As the day went on I started to have a nervous feeling in my stomach. Once my sister and I got dropped off at the Target Center in Minneapolis it really started to click for me that I was going to meet him. We got in a line to pick up our tickets. We were the last people in line who paid to meet him. Once we got our tickets, lanyard, and wristband we went through a door and there was about 70 or so girls standing in a line. Some guy started talking to all of us, he was really nice. The first thing he said was “WHO IS EXCITED TO MEET JUSTIN?!” Of course, every single girl screamed. He also told us that we weren’t allowed to take pictures of Justin when we entered the curtain thing where he was, he said we could hug him but not kiss him, and that we would be taking our picture with whoever we came with (unless you won meet and greets then you go in a group with people you don’t know). While standing there a door opened from across the room and it was Bruce Dale, Justin’s grandpa! I was like omg, there’s Bruce! None of the girls by me cared. So I just waved to him and he waved back. After that the guy who was first talking to us led us up some stairs and that area was where we were going to meet Justin. The curtain thing where you meet Justin is just like the one in Never Say Never. It’s just a black curtain type thing. While waiting in line Diane Dale, Kenny, and Dan all walked by. Justin’s grandma was buying a concert t-shirt! All of the sudden while in line I heard a bunch of screaming, I looked to see what the fuss was about.. it was Justin. He had came out of the curtain in Heely’s but quickly went back in. As I got closer to the curtain I saw that Ryan Butler and Diane were standing right outside of the curtain and then I saw them walk in the curtain area. The line had started moving very fast. You only get like 30 seconds with him so you have to think fast on what you’re going to say. I told my sister to go in first because I was scared. It was our turn and the guy who opened the curtain was like, “Here you go ladies!” My sister walked in and Justin said, “Hi, how are you?!” She said “Hi! Good, how are you?” and he said, “Great!” Then they hugged. I don’t know what I was doing during that because I didn’t hear/see any of it and I was right behind her. I remember putting my purse on the ground, looking to my right and seeing Diane and Ryan standing there. I gave them a little smile. I walked up to Justin and he said Hi! I said hey *VERY SHYLY* with a huge smile on my face and then we hugged. Everyone always says he smells really good, well I can’t remember what he smelt like because I was to busy thinking that I was currently touching Justin fricken’ Bieber. After we hugged I moved over to his side. I honestly don’t remember smiling for the picture, I don’t remember looking at the camera either. I could just feel his arm across my back and his hand on my waist. After the picture the security rushed us out very fast. They had our bags in their hands and as I was starting to walk away from Justin, I felt his arm/hand slide across my lower back and I honestly became speechless. We walked through a door where we sat for like 20 minutes on the ground. After that we were led back through the same door to get first dibs on the merch. My sister & I both got a t-shirt. We went to our seats and waited for the concert to start. While waiting for the concert to start I saw Pattie, Bruce, Diane, Ryan, Scrappy, Fredo, and Kenny. Selena was there too but I didn’t see her. Let me just tell you that Bruce is the cutest person ever. He had ear plugs in and was just looking around smiling the whole time . Carly came out first then Justin. JUSTIN WAS AMAZING. He’s such a good performer and knows how to put on a show. He came and sang in front of us a handful of times and I just wanted to melt. I even got a picture of him singing OLLG where it looks like he’s looking straight at me! The concert went by so fast and I wish I could put that day on replay and keeping on living it. Trayvon Martin’s Mother Says She Wants Justic For Her Son In 2013 With all of the other unfortunate tragedies that occurred this year, some may have forgotten about the 17-year-old unarmed boy who lost his life onthe the way home from the store at the hands of self-appointed neighborhood watch man dog George Zimmerman who gunned down the teenager following a brief altercation. But Trayvon Martin’s mother Sybrina Fulton is still living the nightmare of losing a child….and still seeking justice for her slain son. She recently reached out to Essence magazine to share her grief, her joy and her tireless pursuit of justice. via Essence This year has been bittersweet. The bitter part is that I lost my baby boy. The sweet part has been the show of support that we have received from our community and from the world. We are thankful. Trayvon would have turned 18 this coming February and would have been graduating from high school. He had just turned 17 a few days before he was killed. I remember how much he was looking forward to senior picture day. I won’t ever get a chance see those moments; to see his high school graduation picture, his prom pictures, his wedding pictures. I won’t get that experience. It’s still difficult to swallow because Trayvon had his whole life ahead of him. Seventeen years just seems so short to me, but I do thank God for the time that he did give me with him. I want justice in 2013. The trial begins in June and we want Trayvon’s murderer held accountable for what he did. This was a murder. This was not a case of Stand Your Ground or self-defense. One of the things Tracy [Trayvon’s father] and I have done is take a negative and make it positive. We want to try and engage the political process with the Change for Trayvon campaign to encourage people around the country to get involved and vote to help revise these Stand Your Ground laws. George Zimmerman’s autograph is being sold to fund his defense in the high-profile Trayvon Martin murder case … just in case you thought you’d heard everything. Yes, the man who shot and killed Trayvon Martin is sending personally signed thank-you cards to anyone who donates money to his legal defense fund. Each card will be individually signed by George, the identity of all donors will be kept confidential, and the envelope of the cards will not bear his name. Just in case you don’t want the mailman finding out. Why go this route? He’s burdened with hefty “living expenses and legal costs,” according to GZDefenseFund (dot) com, though this claim is debatable. Donors who support George Zimmerman ‘s self-defense claim have reportedly already raised hundreds of thousands for his defense and protection. In any case, Zimmerman will plead not guilty to second-degree murder, citing Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law, at a hearing that could happen as soon as April.
Now boys… Gabriel Aubry And Olivier Martinez Arrested And Hospitalized After Fight At Halle Berry’s Home According to TMZ reports : Gabriel Aubry was arrested Thanksgiving morning after a melee at Halle Berry’s house, which sent both Gabriel and Halle’s fiance Olivier Martinez to the hospital … TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Gabriel showed up at Halle’s doorstep with Nahla for a custodial hand-off. We’re told Gabriel was inside the house when Olivier walked up to him and said, “We have to move on.” According to witnesses, Gabriel then pushed Olivier and threw a punch at his face, but Olivier blocked it and the punch struck him in the shoulder instead. We’re told Gabriel then pushed Olivier to the ground, and Olivier cold-cocked him in the face, and a struggle ensued, ending with Olivier pinning Gabriel to the ground. In the struggle, Gabriel suffered a broken rib, contusions on his face, and possibly a more serious head injury. Olivier may have broken his hand and suffered neck injuries as well. There are conflicting accounts as to whether Gabriel was rendered unconscious in the fight. Furthermore… Police were called and Olivier made a citizen’s arrest for battery against Gabriel. Gabriel was escorted to the ER and, ironically, Olivier went to the same ER an hour later. The two were just down the hall from each other. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … a judge has issued an emergency protective order, which requires Gabriel to stay 100 yards away from Halle, Olivier, and Nahla. And finally, there’s this … specifics about the argument between Gabriel and Olivier are sketchy because they were trash talking each other in French. It’s pretty shocking — considering Gabriel was out with Nahla just last night for a movie date at the Grove. According to the latest update, Gabriel Aubry has been released from the hospital and is currently in jail facing charges.
