I can not believe I’m writing this, it still shocks me. On January 16, 2013 one of my many dreams came true. I have waited four years for this to happen and it finally did! This is my first time ever going to one of Justin’s shows and it was my first time meeting him too. So this experience was pretty amazing to me. When I found out Justin was coming to Birmingham, Alabama again I was determined to go to this concert. I started begging my mom to buy me tickets, but she said no. The only way I could go was if I won them. In the summer of 2012 all I did was enter any contest to go to one of his shows. I am pretty sure I entered about 300 of them. One day I was on my way to cheer at a football game and I get this phone call from a number. I answered it and I had a good feeling. They told me I was a finalist in the ‘Dance for Bieber’ contest . If I went to Birmingham on Sunday and danced to a random song on the Kinect against 10 other people, we could win tickets and backstage passes! On that Sunday we all went to Birmingham. They said that Madison (my older sister could sign up too). After everyone danced, they called out the scores… and MADISON WON! We were going to meet Justin Bieber! I just broke out into tears! I could not believe this was going to happen. Two months later and it was finally January 16, 2013! We went by the tour busses in hopes of seeing just a glance of Justin but we didn’t. We then went in line for the meet & greet and they took us inside. They told us we had to be in a group of 6 people so we got these little girls to come in with us. We waited for 2 hours and then some guy stuck his arm out and we seen an owl tattoo and it was JUSTIN BIEBER! They opened the curtain for the group to go in and I seem him for the first time. I couldn’t believe this wasn’t a picture. The lady said, “It’s your turn,” so I walked in and I wasn’t crying anymore. He looked at me and said, “Hey you girls are so pretty,” and I lost it. I started crying because I couldn’t believe this was happening. I kinda blacked out and fell on my sister but then I came to and he motioned us to come to him. I went to him and gave him a hug and he told me with a giggle, “Don’t cry it’s okay,” which made me cry even more. We took our picture and he turned towards me and I said, “Justin, can I have a hug?” Then he replied with a smile, “Of course you can sweetheart.” I remember thinking HOW AM I STILL LIVING? I felt someone tap my should and I realized I was the last one in my group still in there and I said, “Bye Justin I love you!” The last thing he said was, “Bye beautiful!” and it was over. It may have been only a minute but it was the best minute of my entire life! I am the girl next to Justin on the left. I hope this gives you hope that one day you will meet Justin because I never thought I would meet him and I finally did! If you just keep trying it will happen one day! I promise you!
