Golden Retriever Refuses to Leave Side of Dying Bird

We all know that Golden Retrievers have big hearts. Case in point: this canine, who adopted a rescue kitten as his own . Now comes a video that depicts a one-year old dog coming across a bird who fell out a tree and landed in his family’s garden. According to the dog’s owner, his pet refused to leave the side of this dying animal, lying in the dirt, licking its wounds and remaining vigil until the bird passed away. Incredibly, this footage arrives just days after a video that featured a hunting dog rescuing a bird from drowning . Pretty amazing all around, huh?
