BeyBey don’t care about the critters… Homegirl recently commissioned custom footwear design house Perfectly Made Kicks to have one of her favorite shoe styles, the Isabel Marant sneaker wedge recreated using luxury materials. Named “The King Bey,” the white-and-gold wedges are composed of a range of exotic skins including stingray, ostrich, calf hair, crocodile, and anaconda with gold stitching. “Perfectly made describes this design best,” said PMK CEO Andre Scott. PMK stands for ‘perfectly made kicks’. They are said to mimic “the southern belle’s sweet and fierce persona”, said the company in a statement. While it’s not currently known how much Bey paid to have them made, Isabel Marant kicks normally retail for $350. As you can imagine, animal rights’ groups aren’t too happy with Bey about having the shoes made, and she’s paid them about as much attention as the folks who b****ed about her endorsing soda did when she grabbed all those millions from Pepsi. Pope Benedict XVI is on his way out , does that mean this brother is next in line for the papalcy? Via NYDailyNews reports : With Pope Benedict XVI’s bombshell announcement Monday that he plans to step down, all eyes are on his potential successors, including one that may become the first black pope: Cardinal Peter Turkson. The Roman Catholic Cardinal from Ghana, the current president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, is among the leading candidates to assume the title of pontiff as it is rumored the Vatican may look outside Europe for its next leader. Turkson, 64, was born in Wassaw Nsuta in western Ghana on Oct. 11, 1948 to a Methodist mother and Catholic father. He entered the seminary as a child and moved to New York to study at St. Anthony-on-Hudson Seminary in Rensselaer before he was ordained as a priest in 1975. In October 1992, Pope John Paul II named Turkson the Archbishop of Cape Coast, the former capital of Ghana. Turkson served as president of the Ghana Catholic Bishops’ Conference from 1997 to 2005 and during that time, was appointed the first-ever cardinal from Ghana. “We love him,” Archbishop Gabriel Charles Palmer-Buckle, metropolitan archbishop of Accra, the current capital of Ghana, told the Guardian. “For Ghanaians he was our first cardinal, and to be made cardinal in his 50s was a big feather in our cap.” In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI appointed Turkson the president of the Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace, a high-profile position that sent him around the world for mediation talks. The position put Turkson near tthe top of the list of potential papal successors. Bookmaker Paddy Power has odds of Turkson becoming the pope at 3-1 — a prediction that is not entirely out of the blue for the cardinal, who acknowledged the possibility of a black pope in a press conference in 2009. “Why not?” Turkson said, arguing that when you agree to become a priest, you must be open to the idea of becoming a Pope. “All of that is part of the package.” Turkson added that the time was especially ripe given the election of President Barack Obama. “And now it is Obama of the United States,” he said. “And if by divine providence — because the church belongs to God — if God would wish to see a black man also as Pope, thanks be to God.” If elected, Turkson would also be the first non-European to serve since the Great Western Schism. Turkson would not be the first pope to hail from Africa. Some scholars believe that Victor I, who served from 189 to 199, was the first black pope, the Telegraph reported. Information from the time, however, is not conclusive. Turkson is not the only potential papal candidate outside of Europe. You never know. So we got a couple weeks left.” In some cases, babies can even come two weeks early. If that should happen, Amber joked, “If he comes today, he’s gonna be a little show-off! Out of all days, he’s gonna come on the Grammys!” While the couple have shared that the baby will have a “boss” name, they’re keeping it to themselves so far. She looks rough Via ABCNews Nancy Gonzalez, a corrections officer at the federal Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, was arrested this morning at her home in Huntington, N.Y., on charges that she allegedly carried on a sexual relationship with a man convicted of killing two NYPD detectives. She is charged with engaging in sexual relations with an inmate and she is scheduled to be arraigned later this afternoon in Brooklyn federal court, according to court papers. Gonzalez, 29, is accused of having what is described as inappropriate relationship sex with Ronell Wilson, who was convicted of the 2003 capital murder of two undercover NYPD detectives in a point-blank execution in Staten Island. Gonzalez is now eight months pregnant with a baby, possibly from the relationship with Wilson, according to officials. At least three other inmates knew about the relationship, and told authorities Gonzalez had inappropriate relations in both the cell and a vacant room next to the inmate’s cell. B-b-but wait it gets worse! Further investigation revealed an inappropriate relationship with another inmate, currently in a New York State prison but previously at the federal Metropolitan Detention Center, according to the court documents. That inmate told his mother on a recorded conversation that Gonzalez is pregnant with another man’s baby. Gonzales will have an initial appearance this afternoon in US District court in Brooklyn before Magistrate Judge Ramon E. Reyes. She faces a statutory maximum of 15 years in prison if convicted. So what does this felon-lovin’ hussy have to say for herself? “I just basically got wrapped up in something that I should not have got wrapped up…getting myself up with someone that is so high profile that when he farts it makes the news.” Gonzalez asked the second inmate if he knew Wilson’s name, and the second inmate said his first name starts with “R.” “I can’t explain it. I know what’s to come. I know what is going to be said about me. I know that for me as a parent, how am I going to explain this to this little boy? Mommy was in the military. Mommy was a C.O. The actor and comedian and his model fiancée Megan Wollover are expecting their first child together early this summer, Morgan, 44, confirms to PEOPLE exclusively. “I am over the moon excited and just want a happy and healthy baby and a safe delivery for Megan,” he tells PEOPLE. Morgan, who has three grown sons, recently told Rolling Stone he hoped to have a baby daughter one day. “You know what happiness is? Happiness is a simple thing, man,” he told the magazine. “It’s having something to look forward to.” The funny man announced his engagement on the Emmy red carpet in September, and told Ryan Seacrest the two got engaged six months prior in San Francisco.
